I've had large and small dogs, cats, goats and birds in my life since I can remember. I am patient, calm, fun and caring with animals of all kinds and can offer my home to care for dogs in, or I can care for your dogs, cats or goats at yours! I have a spoiled 60 pound pup of my own named Luna who likes to play with other dogs and I also have reliable transportation if you should need your dog to go to the vet or would prefer I come to your house to care for you pup. I have excellent references and would love for you to meet us!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large yard and a quiet neighborhood to go for walks around. I can provide blankets for your pup, and if needed I have space to crate your dog though we do not crate ours. I will be the responsible care person for your pet, I am married and we have one dog named Luna. Your dog can snuggle with us on the bed until it is time to go to sleep when they will go to their dog bed either in our room, or in the living room. Our house is not crowded and we have space to play ball, tug of war or fetch in rainy, yucky weather.

Absolutely fabulous, five stars isn’t enough!
We travel several times a year at least, and Katherine has been hands down the best experience we have ever had with a pet / house sitter. Katherine went above and beyond to take care of our 2 dogs and 4 cats. She took the most loving care of all of our animals, paying special attention to detail and following schedules. It felt so good to come home late last night to a space that felt clean and even better than we had left it. I am very grateful I found Katherine and highly recommend her for anyone needing a very responsible, compassionate and caring pet sitter!
Reliable and genuinely caring. Communication was consistent and reassuring, with thoughtful updates that made it easy to relax while I was away. She showed up on time, followed all instructions closely, and clearly took the time to make sure my dog felt comfortable and cared for. I came home to a happy, well-looked-after pup, which says everything. I’d absolutely trust her again.
Katherine was amazing! She sent updates frequently and pictures. My dog really enjoyed spending time with her and her dog!
Katherine is absolutely amazing! Can’t say how much we appreciate her! This is the first time we have ever left our dogs with someone we didn’t know prior. She made our trip easy and worry-free. We left our 3 dogs, 2 being senior dogs, and our cat with her for 5 days. She made sure to meet us prior to make sure everyone was comfortable. While we were gone, she gave them lots of love, attention, exercise and looked for ways to connect with each one of them individually. We are so thankful to have found her and are already looking forward to next time!

Schedule
I have plenty of free time to care for your animals as I am able to work from home most of the time! We can play in our large yard, go for walks locally and hikes on the Blue Ridge Parkway in nice weather. Cats can be cared for at your home where I can feed & water, spend cuddle time with them and clean the litter box. I can feed the goats, check and change their water, clean up their bedding and make sure they have minerals and treats. I have also cared for alpacas and llamas!
