About: I have raised a puppy from 7 weeks old to 3.5 years old, and I also took care of my childhood 15 year old senior chocolate lab, giving me firsthand experience with the full spectrum of dog ages. I have spent time training my own dogs and learning about different training techniques, which I genuinely enjoy. My experience includes working with reactive dogs, and I believe in supporting owners without judgment. I am happy to work alongside them to manage and support pets' behavior. Additionally, I have experience administering medication to dogs, so I am comfortable and capable of handling any special medical needs your pet may have. My commitment to providing attentive, personalized care ensures that your pet's well-being and happiness are my top priorities! Use my promo code to get $20 off your first booking! Linked here: https://www.rover.com/sit/inesf75094 OR use the Promo Code: INESF75094 I am currently working remotely, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available weekdays and weekends to walk dogs, do overnight stays, or drop in. I care for pets in my client's homes with the utmost dedication and attention to their individual needs. I have experience with my family dog of 15 years, a puppy I rescued and gave to my sister, and a dog I rescued from the streets who has become the light of my life. I have walked and cared for all three by taking them on regular walks, adventures, and hikes, always advocating for their space and listening to their cues. I ensure they are fed high-quality food and treats and take them to the vet as needed. I also prioritize their safety and comfort by taking them out early in the morning and late at night to avoid the heat. My approach is rooted in love and respect, and I always aim to create a nurturing environment where they feel happy and secure.

About: I've been a dog lover and owner for more than 25 years and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. My first two dogs lived to be 16 years old, giving me firsthand experience with the patience, attention, and extra care senior dogs often need. Today, I share my life with Bailey Love, my 5½-year-old rescue pup and adventure buddy. We spend lots of time exploring the trails and woods around Asheville, and it's where he's happiest. Bailey is friendly, well-trained, and loves making new friends...both human and canine. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, or simply curling up for a nap, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. I treat every dog as family and will provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. Administering meds will be an additional $10-$20, depending on meds and frequency. ***For overnight stays, Bailey would be with me - he is great with cats; he has grown up in a house with 3+ cats and litters of kittens and pups.*** I own my own business and teach yoga, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. You'll often find me on the trails with my dog, Bailey Love, exploring the woods and soaking up nature. If your dog enjoys walks, hikes, sniffing every leaf, and outdoor adventures, we'll have a wonderful time together! For pets who prefer a slower pace, I'm equally happy providing cuddles, companionship, and calm care at home. 🐾💜 Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. If your pet stays in my home, they will be treated like family. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised. Dogs can enjoy walks in my neighborhood, adventures on local trails, or relaxing time outside on a lead if they enjoy being outdoors. When caring for pets in your home, I will treat your space with the same respect and care I give my own. I understand the trust involved in welcoming someone into your home and caring for a beloved family member. For drop-in visits, I often have the flexibility to stay a little longer when schedules allow. As a business owner, I can sometimes bring my laptop and work from your home while spending extra time with your pet, offering additional companionship, playtime, cuddles, and comfort while you're away. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, loved, and as relaxed as possible until you're back home.

About: I have grown up with animals of all shapes and sizes. And have professionally pet sat under a licensed & insured LLC I owned for several years before dissolving it to focus on my career in nursing. I have 2 mini Aussie pups myself, Biscuit & Gravy! Who’d love to have friends come visit to play :) I work as a labor & delivery nurse 3-days a week! And enjoy having things to breakup my schedule; like spending time with furry friends :) I live in a spacious 2/2 apartment & my complex has a large dog park. I also promise to treat your home like my own if I am staying with your furry friend(s)

About: I am new to Asheville, and I’m excited to spend my days exploring the area with your pup by my side! Since my husband works during the day, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your dog the one-on-one attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve; not just a quick visit. I’m also looking forward to learning about different breeds as my husband and I prepare for dog ownership ourselves, so you can trust that I’ll care for your dog with genuine enthusiasm, patience, and lots of love :) I relocated with my husband for his job, so my hours are pretty open with notice for the foreseeable future! I enjoy hiking and walking, so i am happy to combine those activities with taking your pet along :) Your dog will enjoy a calm, comfortable home in West Asheville with plenty of space to relax and receive individualized attention. I typically opt for taking dog walks in parks or hiking trails instead of my neighborhood. Because I’m home during the day, your pup won’t be left alone for long and will receive lots of companionship, play, potty breaks, and affection throughout their stay. I treat every dog like they’re my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and right at home.

About: i don't have a lot of experience in dog care other than taking care of friends dogs or the last few years, but i love being around dogs and really care about getting them out and giving them the exercise and social experiences they need. I love to take dogs our on runs and give them social opportunities with other dogs. I love animals and would love to be given the opportunity to love yours. The majority of my work is all open ended and very flexible. I can work pet care into all aspects of my life. There isn’t a lot that i’m doing currently that can take my attention away from your pets. I will not be bringing any pets to my house, but i will come to yours and do over night stays, extended stays, or walk your dogs if you will be out for more than 4 hours at a time. About: Animals are family. I have a good understanding of animals' emotions, and have grown up with many animals of all types, and have cared for, fostered, and owned many animals. I am able to respond quickly and can check in on your animals to provide food, water, and walk/run them. I live in a West Asheville with great roads to walk along. Your loved pet is always allowed to cuddle on the bed. I work from home so I will always be there for your pet. And the animals will get a bathroom break every 0- 2 hours as needed in the fenced in yard. Along with constant food and water in their bowls (or on a preferred feeding schedule), I will provide loving care to your animals and will give them everything they need to be happy and healthy until your back home. I also have a great phone plan so I can always send pictures and videos to update you on your pet. Long walks or runs are always a great way to calm a pet down who misses their families. And I will make sure that they feel calm, safe, and loved while you are away. They will return overjoyed that you are home, and excited to tell you about all of the fun adventures they have had while you were away. I will exceed expectations with care for your pet and will jump through hoops to make sure that whatever your pet loves is what we do frequently. I am work from home so I have plenty of time to give your pet my undivided attention. Anytime works for me and I am always able to drop in on your pet. This is also a no-smoking or drug area. Your animal will be around the clock cared for and loved. I will also closely monitor your pet's behavior to make sure they are healthy and happy. And will communicate any concerns or questions with the owners.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
