About: I've been a dog lover and owner for more than 25 years and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. My first two dogs lived to be 16 years old, giving me firsthand experience with the patience, attention, and extra care senior dogs often need. Today, I share my life with Bailey Love, my 5½-year-old rescue pup and adventure buddy. We spend lots of time exploring the trails and woods around Asheville, and it's where he's happiest. Bailey is friendly, well-trained, and loves making new friends...both human and canine. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, or simply curling up for a nap, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. I treat every dog as family and will provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. Administering meds will be an additional $10-$20, depending on meds and frequency. ***For overnight stays, Bailey would be with me - he is great with cats; he has grown up in a house with 3+ cats and litters of kittens and pups.*** I own my own business and teach yoga, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. You'll often find me on the trails with my dog, Bailey Love, exploring the woods and soaking up nature. If your dog enjoys walks, hikes, sniffing every leaf, and outdoor adventures, we'll have a wonderful time together! For pets who prefer a slower pace, I'm equally happy providing cuddles, companionship, and calm care at home. 🐾💜 Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. If your pet stays in my home, they will be treated like family. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised. Dogs can enjoy walks in my neighborhood, adventures on local trails, or relaxing time outside on a lead if they enjoy being outdoors. For drop-in visits, I often have the flexibility to stay a little longer when schedules allow. About: Growing up with at least two dogs in my home at any given time, I have gratitude for the joy and companionship pets can bring to a family. I've cared for my senior cat for the past 19 years. She is the love of my life who is now suffering from kidney failure. 😞 While in high school, I spent 4 years in the dog grooming industry. To this day, I am always the first to volunteer to look after pets for my friends and family. I now work at the Western North Carolina Nature Center by day where I train to handle animals during educational programs and support their well-being as "ambassadors" of their species. I have respect and love for all animals! 🩷 I'm also passionate about holistic pet health and cognition, and can accommodate to your pet's special diet protocol or exercise plan. In addition, I have experience giving around-the-clock care for puppies and senior pets and can administer medication when needed. I also offer nail trims and baths for well-behaved pets. Outside of my time spent at the Nature Center, I also work part-time in a hybrid role as an administrative assistant. This allows me the flexibility to meet you and your pets needs. I look forward to spending quality time with your best friend! I'm currently working part-time, with ample time off in the afternoons and evenings. I'm available after work around 3pm for walks and drop-ins, and am able to offer potty breaks every 4 hours or so during house sits. About: Fun, young, athletic, etc that LOVES animals and would love to walk yours and hang out with them!!! I have always been an animal person and I have a puppy of my own so I understand the needs of young puppies and also older ones! Pet care fits in my schedule because I will ALWAYS make time for an animal! Also I love to help out where I can so that is why I signed up to do this! Since I am doing dog walking, I make sure your dog gets in good exercise while out with me! Try to get those legs stretched and just out enjoying the weather!

About: My wife and I have raised my 7 year old black lab since he was a puppy and learned from his needs and wants throughout the years. I live in a small community where I routinely walk my dog but also have a decent sized back yard where your pets can play. I have previous experience with taking care of close friends cats and dogs. my wife and I are available anytime, I work during the day and she works during the night, there will always be someone home to take care of your loved ones! We have a fenced in back yard with a single gate, inside we have door sensors on the backyard door and front door. I have 2 daughters ages 3 and 6 that have not had issues with pets before. We share our home with three wonderful dogs (a Pointer, a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix, and an Australian Shepherd) all 7 years and older, plus our cat, Potato. We’re very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and species under one roof. Our dogs are mature, well-socialized, and help create a calm, balanced pack environment. We live on 2 acres with a securely fenced quarter-acre for safe, supervised outdoor play. There’s plenty of space for sniffing, structured exercise, and relaxing in the fresh air. My wife and I are almost always home, so your pet will receive consistent supervision, attention, and affection. We also have a sweet baby, Cooper, who is growing up learning to gently and respectfully love animals. Our home is calm, structured, and family-oriented. In addition to boarding, we also offer drop-in visits for pets who are happiest staying in their own home. Whether your pet needs potty breaks, feeding, walks, medication, or just some companionship and playtime, we’re happy to help. I’m currently a stay at home parent so my schedule is wide open for both days and nights to take on boarding or do visits to other homes. My home has a large fenced area where our three dogs can roam and exercise. I am very reliable and respectful when it comes to entering others’ homes while taking care of their pets.

About: Have had pets my entire life, bred multiple reptiles in the past, have had several dogs over the years, exotics, still have a 23 year old african grey who is my middle child who won't leave the nest, spent a decade volunteering at a no-kill shelter, multiple animal rescues, have worked in multiple veterinary offices, been vegetarian since 1997, worked as a vegan chef in several restaurants, and still love to cook for potlucks, friends and fun! I'm currently just working a few days a week in a restaurant, no other commitments. Plus it's the longest I've ever been without companion animal of my own, so I have extra time and love to give at the moment. Will follow the owners instructions to the tee, and more often than not spend additional time when possible. I'm currently without pets of my own which is rare for me, so I have an ample amount of attention and care to spare!

About: Outside of watching friends and coworkers animals, I grew up in a house where any animal was welcome, so between me and my siblings over the years there were lots to take care of I have a very flexible schedule so I can work with most anybody needing service within a reasonable range. I do weekends overnights or long stays. Ide care for anyone else’s pet like I would my own, as someone who can’t stomach leaving there pet somewhere with anyone I understand completely

About: I have always loved and enjoyed caring for animals. My home has always had a four legged family member occupying space. From rabbits to pot belly pigs it’s such a joy to love and care for them. I’m currently a full time student that takes online classes. So my schedule is pretty free and flexible. I don’t have a traditional job so I’m home a lot. I have a front and back yard that I can walk your fur baby in. I also have 2 friendly fur babies of my own to keep them company.
