About: I've had all different kinds of pets throughout my life (cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks) - and have lived on homesteads with farm animals too. Prior to making a home in beautiful Brevard, I was full time house and pet sitting for 1.5 years while traveling. I completed about 30 assignments with glowing off the charts 5 star reviews. House/pet sitting is one of the the most special things I've ever done. You can be sure your pet will get consistent reliable care by a trustworthy caregiver. There will be no shortage of affection and attention. Daily walks in local parks, trails, or simply around your neighborhood, playtime in the yard or the dog park, and lots of cuddle time too if they enjoy and appreciate that. I sincerely enjoy taking the time to get to know you and your beloved pet, and learning the details and nuances of their care instructions so there is no interruption in/to their routine while in my care. I have experience with senior pets as well. Please note that my 5 year old does accompany me on dog walks, drop in/day visits, and overnights. They are incredible with animals and under my supervision the entire time, though please be sure your pets are comfortable and okay with children prior to sending a booking request. Thank you! About: I have owned dogs my entire life with many cats in between. I have had the pleasure of sitting dogs and cats all over the country, including house sits in California, Oregon, Washington, and now North Carolina. As a middle-aged woman with many responsibilities and experiences, I am adept at managing a wide variety of pet tasks with conscientiousness and skill. I am a freelance writer and work only part-time from home, so I have an abundance of time to be fully in the moment with your pets and provide them quality care, supervision, and one-on-one attention. I have a wonderful husband who loves animals and 16-year old son (who also adores animals), and a 20-year-old son studying at Chapel Hill, who helps me with the dogs in my care when he is home for the summer and on breaks. Currently, I have a wonderful, small group of regular dogs who come for daycare most days of the week. Montford is also a lovely neighborhood to go on walks with dogs, with lots of parks nearby, resident goats and chickens down the street at our friends' house, and Reed's Creek Greenway just around the corner.
