We share our home with three wonderful dogs (a Pointer, a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix, and an Australian Shepherd) all 7 years and older, plus our cat, Potato. We’re very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and species under one roof. Our dogs are mature, well-socialized, and help create a calm, balanced pack environment. We live on 2 acres with a securely fenced quarter-acre for safe, supervised outdoor play. There’s plenty of space for sniffing, structured exercise, and relaxing in the fresh air. My wife and I are almost always home, so your pet will receive consistent supervision, attention, and affection. We also have a sweet baby, Cooper, who is growing up learning to gently and respectfully love animals. Our home is calm, structured, and family-oriented. In addition to boarding, we also offer drop-in visits for pets who are happiest staying in their own home. Whether your pet needs potty breaks, feeding, walks, medication, or just some companionship and playtime, we’re happy to help. I’m currently a stay at home parent so my schedule is wide open for both days and nights to take on boarding or do visits to other homes. My home has a large fenced area where our three dogs can roam and exercise. I am very reliable and respectful when it comes to entering others’ homes while taking care of their pets.

There were 2 days of our 16-day vacay that we needed a reliable pet sitter for adventures we couldn’t bring Ezra on: zip-lining in Barnardsville and driving the Blue Ridge Parkway in a 2-seater Polaris Slingshot. Even after a considerately planned meet-and-greet the afternoon before his 1st stay with Paul, Ezra was a little nervous after we dropped him off. Thoughtfully, I received updates and videos to keep me posted. Paul and his fiancé worked with him to build trust and also Ezra’s confidence. By day 2, Ezra did not want his stay to end at pick-up time! When he finally did get in the car, he was happily exhausted and slept the entire drive home. Nichole was a professional dog walker in Boston before moving to Asheville, so she has experience with all sizes and temperaments. Jackson is certified in American Service Pet training as well, so you can rest assured they are in good, capable hands during their stay. We both work outside of the home - Jackson as a maintenance worker and Nichole as a doctor - so our fur babies are usually lounging inside or in our fenced in yard. That said, we always make sure one of us will be home when we have any pets staying with us. On the weekends, we love spending time out in nature, especially around bodies of water and would love to safely bring your pet along. When you trust us to watch your animals, we’ll follow whatever rules you’d like. They can run around in our fenced in yard or stay inside. We have a large crate as well if your animal prefers that. We have a Bernedoodle that loves playing with new friends, as long as they are not aggressive. We have two indoor cats that love playing with our dog, but would also not do well with an aggressive dog. We love to train dogs as well and are happy reinforce the work you are doing while they stay with us.

“At the last second I needed dog walkers - for a week - my dog is more like a cat…needs no attention, but needs walked twice a day and fed. There was no time to meet Hanna, but I sent her detailed instructions on how to get into my house, find the dog, leash him and walk him, feed him, throw a med into his food and shut the house up and leave. You have to have a lot of trust that all that would be done without ever meeting Hannah! About: Hey! I’m new to the area, but I’ve been hanging out with animals way longer than i can even remember. I’m a proud pet parent myself, and my animals are absolutely loved—they’re family. I know how nerve-racking it can be to trust someone with your pets, so I treat every dog, cat, or critter like they’re part of my own little pack. Whether your pup needs a walking buddy, your cat needs a snack dealer, or you need someone to keep your pets safe and loved while you’re away, I’ve got you covered. I work a pretty flexible 9-5 job during the week, so I’m happy to help accommodate visits before, after, and even on my lunch breaks! With many years of my own pet parenting expertise and a lot of friend pet sitting — i’m well versed and can do whatever you need!
About: i don't have a lot of experience in dog care other than taking care of friends dogs or the last few years, but i love being around dogs and really care about getting them out and giving them the exercise and social experiences they need. I love to take dogs our on runs and give them social opportunities with other dogs. I love animals and would love to be given the opportunity to love yours. The majority of my work is all open ended and very flexible. I can work pet care into all aspects of my life. There isn’t a lot that i’m doing currently that can take my attention away from your pets. I will not be bringing any pets to my house, but i will come to yours and do over night stays, extended stays, or walk your dogs if you will be out for more than 4 hours at a time. I will make sure your dogs and cats get clean fresh water and fed by whatever times you wish. i will keep the liter box clean and the yard clean as well.

About: I've been a dog lover and owner for more than 25 years and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. My first two dogs lived to be 16 years old, giving me firsthand experience with the patience, attention, and extra care senior dogs often need. Today, I share my life with Bailey Love, my 5½-year-old rescue pup and adventure buddy. We spend lots of time exploring the trails and woods around Asheville, and it's where he's happiest. Bailey is friendly, well-trained, and loves making new friends...both human and canine. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, or simply curling up for a nap, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. I treat every dog as family and will provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. If your pet stays in my home, they will be treated like family. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised. Dogs can enjoy walks in my neighborhood, adventures on local trails, or relaxing time outside on a lead if they enjoy being outdoors. When caring for pets in your home, I will treat your space with the same respect and care I give my own. I understand the trust involved in welcoming someone into your home and caring for a beloved family member. For drop-in visits, I often have the flexibility to stay a little longer when schedules allow. As a business owner, I can sometimes bring my laptop and work from your home while spending extra time with your pet, offering additional companionship, playtime, cuddles, and comfort while you're away. My goal is to help your pet feel safe, loved, and as relaxed as possible until you're back home.
