I have loved dogs since I could walk, maybe even before. Growing up, I got my first family dog when I was 10. I worked with a trainer, where I learned dog-walking skills and commands. I learned the patience and consistency needed to effectively communicate with pets. I now have my own dog, a lab/hound mix named Arthur. I trained him to be a registered therapy animal. I now have a part time job in a pet boarding facility where I have gained experience working with puppies, small dogs, very large dogs, and old dogs. I will care for your pet as if it’s my own, with lots of patience, attention, love, and play. I look forward to becoming your pets new favorite playmate! ❤️

I do not offer boarding services. I will care for your pet in your home. I’ll keep it clean,, I’ll leave it better than I found it. I have utmost respect for the environment and will clean up after your pet on walks in the neighborhood or on the trail.

John recently spent three days and nights caring for my two dogs. He did an excellent job. He is honest and trustworthy. My dogs adore him. He was respectful of my home, the guidelines I left, and giving my dogs plenty of attention. I would definitely use him again.
John has been great with my two Scotties and is an excellent communicator. We're on our second week with his service.
John D is awesome and Ruby loves him! He has made such a difference in her! If you are on the fence about dog walking, it’s so worth it! I highly recommend John. He is also teaching her better manners on the leash. We couldn’t be happier with him and his great care of Ruby!
John is a kind-hearted, playful, and caring human -- I know that dogs can pick up on this because they practically seek him out! John similarly adores meeting and interacting with dogs, and always respectfully asks their owners first if he can say hello. With his own dog, Arthur, he is a loving, patient, and attuned pet parent. He cares for Arthur in such a good way (far beyond the basic necessities of dog care) -- playing outside with him, goofing off together, noticing when something might be just a little bit off (sickness, injury, behavior changes), giving Arthur loves of love, and also letting him have his space when he wants it. In addition to the experience of having dogs of his own for many years, John works at a dog boarding/pet resort facility, gaining significant, practical experience caring for a variety of other dogs. John is a wonderful, reliable, and enthusiastic pet parent and pet carer, who I highly recommend!
John is completely responsible with pets or any other responsibility he takes on. He is devoted to his own dog Arthur. I’m sure that his interest in caring for pets with Rover.com is based on his love of animals. He has demonstrated to me in every way that he is a fine young man.

Schedule
I am currently working part-time and have a very flexible schedule. I can accomodate multiple walks and in home visits per day. Looking forward to being of service to you and your pet.
