About: Between us, we have always had an animal in our lives - from ferrets and horses to cats and dogs. Pets simply make life better and there’s no better way to thank them than to shower them with love and affection. Your fur baby is guaranteed to be excited when they need to stay with us. Nichole was a professional dog walker in Boston before moving to Asheville, so she has experience with all sizes and temperaments. Jackson is certified in American Service Pet training as well, so you can rest assured they are in good, capable hands during their stay. We both work outside of the home - Jackson as a maintenance worker and Nichole as a doctor - so our fur babies are usually lounging inside or in our fenced in yard. That said, we always make sure one of us will be home when we have any pets staying with us. On the weekends, we love spending time out in nature, especially around bodies of water and would love to safely bring your pet along. When you trust us to watch your animals, we’ll follow whatever rules you’d like. They can run around in our fenced in yard or stay inside. We have a large crate as well if your animal prefers that. We have a Bernedoodle that loves playing with new friends, as long as they are not aggressive. We have two indoor cats that love playing with our dog, but would also not do well with an aggressive dog. We love to train dogs as well and are happy reinforce the work you are doing while they stay with us.
About: I’ve had animals my entire life and have been involved in animal rescue for the past 10 years. I currently foster with Mountain Pet Rescue and the Asheville Humane Society, and I’ve cared for animals with all kinds of personalities, backgrounds, and needs. In my home, pets get plenty of supervision, attention, and a calm environment where they can settle in at their own pace. I never force interactions and am very comfortable giving shy or nervous animals the space they need to feel secure. When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible and make sure doors, gates, leashes, food, and medications are handled carefully. My years in rescue have made me especially attentive to body language and changes in behavior, so I’m always keeping an eye on how your pet is feeling. And of course, I’m happy to send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing your furbaby is safe, happy, and getting lots of love.

Savannah came weekly to let my dog Miller out during the day while I was working in town the last few months. She always sent lots of photos and updates on how each visit went. Miller loved her visits every time, running around playing fetch with his favorite ball! Savannah had great communication and was able to do a few last minute requests when I picked up a shift.
