“Micah is terrific! Caring, conscientious, and like me, probably a dog in a former life :) Selfishly, I hesitate lauding over her for fear of her calendar getting so booked up that I’m blocked out ;)”

“While visiting Asheville, we needed someone to take care of Happy meanwhile we had dinner at a not pet-friendly restaurant -- and we were very pleased with all the love (and message update) Terri gave our furry daughter. We dropped off and pick up Happy at Terri's farm, and get to know two of her beautiful dogs.”

“Laird was exceptional in sharing “the life of Addy” while watching our dog…lots of videos and pictures of her. We will definitely be a repeat customer when we visit Asheville again..”

“Caleb, a fairly recent rescue dog with residual anxiety, spent two weeks with Kristin and took only a few hours to readjust to being back home with us. I think this reflects the attention and secure, loving home that Kristin provided. Caleb had other dogs to play with, a cozy indoor environment, and a regular schedule at his home-away-from-home. I would certainly recommend Kristin and will use her again in the future.”

“Vicky is the absolute best! We feel so comfortable leaving our dachshund, Vienna with her and Vienna truly loves being there which makes going on a trip less stressful. She always sends updates and is such a loving and wonderful person. Really appreciate having someone like Vicky to watch our fur babe when we go out of town!”

“Cindy took excellent care of my dog. I was in beautiful Asheville for a wedding and needed some last-minute help boarding my little angel. Cindy was extremely accommodating and excited to spend the weekend with her. She sent photos and updates everyday. Would definitely recommend.”

About: Over the course of my life I have only spent 2 not living with at least one family pet. Since moving to AVL my fur baby has become an only child, so here’s to new friends! Many of the dogs we have had in the house were older as they tend to be more calm around my cat, but the dogs I have had throughout my life we have gotten as puppies. So boarding with me is for the older crowd or dogs with experience with cats but all ages welcome in house sitting inquiries! Bring your 4 legged baby over for a lovely stay in our artsy little home with no tv or wifi for some sweet time with the girls. Or let me know their routine and I will keep them happy until your return! I currently work part time, and I spend most of my free time at home working on my art projects. A perfect opportunity for somebody to come lay at my feet for some quiet time or run around in my back yard! My home has been a rover home for the past year and has been loved by so many sweet friends. There is a fenced in back yard, as well as the perfect neighborhood loop for walks. I am new to my own rover account, but have had many rover dogs in my house over the past year through my roommate. Including many returning guests. We even had a sweet old lab during Helen that kept me company while we tried to contact his parents so you’re in good hands even in crisis!
“Milendi was very accommodating and quick to respond to my last minute requests. She took really great care of my Mastiff puppy and made her comfortable, and happy! She is amazing!”

“Katie and Jeremy were wonderful, loving, and accommodating sitters. They sent photos of my dog every day and it warmed my heart to see that Maggie was happy and healthy. I would highly, highly recommended Katie and Jeremy to anyone.”

“Elizabeth provided excellent care for our dog Chloe for a week. We received regular updates and photos, which we really appreciated. They took Chloe on walks and even brushed her out. We came home to a happy and healthy pup, and highly recommend the their services.”
“Miranda was great! My husband and I had a trip planned to Maui. We found a sitter months in advance. Then the hurricane hit. Our booked sitter had a tree go through her house. The second sitter we found was unable to get their flooded house repaired in time. The third sitter we found texted me the week before we left to let me know she would be going out of town too, but that our dog would be fine and the neighbor could let us in when we return. I contacted Miranda several days before we left for our trip. Our pup stayed with her 12 days. She is only 7 months old and was able to get great socialization in, with both people and other dogs. Miranda sent us daily updates and pictures, and even some videos. Barbara had a great time and was able to sleep in the bed, cuddle on the couch, and have fun running and playing outside in her big backyard with all of her new friends. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our dog was taken such great care of. Will definitely use her again. By the way, Miranda's house is an hour from us, but well worth the drive. Will definitely be using her as our sitter from now on.”

“I couldn’t be any happier with Joseph and Andrea watching over my fur babies. My two pups, Toby and Hippo had never been boarded before and they fit right in and felt right at home with Joseph and Andrea. I feel very comfortable leaving my boys with Joseph and Andrea. They will definitely be seeing Toby and Hippo again in the future.”

“Paul was very kind, patient, and good to our boys despite them being hesitant in a new environment (their first stay in years not in their own home). We appreciated it so much! Would use him again!”

“I cannot recommend Kali for you enough! SHE IS A GEM! My first time sitting my dog was a terrible experience and I was terrified to sit him again but a family emergency popped up and I came across her profile. Her house is clean and she was so nice during the meet and greet, my dog Smokie adores her. Not only did she go over plans on what to do with Smokie while we were away but wrote down a detailed list of everything we told her which sits out in her home in case an emergency happened on her end that anyone coming to watch her own dogs and our dog would know exactly what he needed. She also provided us with all of her emergency contacts so we knew anyone who may be in her home. She also has close contact with the vets in the area if something should happen with our pet. She is amazingly organized and prepared. The dogs have plenty of space to roam and she even had a quiet room for the dogs that can’t roam if she had to pop out of the house and can’t bring the dogs. I will never even consider another sitter after booking with her because they all pale in comparison!”

“Ethan & Hope are wonderful sitters! They are kind and personable, keeping us updated on all the fun! They have two dog, Carlos & Honeybee who are so sweet and got along great with Gator! Highly recommend!”

“Emmalee and her family took wonderful care of my dog, Sophie! They gave her lots of love, read and followed all my directions, and provided regular updates. They're a delightful family and I would highly recommend them!”
