Hi! I’m Jen, a lifelong animal lover and dog owner who knows how important it is to have someone you genuinely trust caring for your pet. I have an Australian Shepherd of my own, so I’m very comfortable with energetic, intelligent dogs who need plenty of exercise, attention, and enrichment! I’m an Occupational Therapist and have spent years working in healthcare, so being dependable, patient, attentive, and responsible is a huge part of who I am. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and routines, and I’ll always treat your pet and home with the same care I’d want someone to give mine. I’m very active and love walking, hiking, and spending time outdoors, so I’m happy to provide anything from a quick potty break to a long walk for dogs who need to burn some energy. I also offer drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, medication as instructed, and plenty of attention and cuddles for pets who prefer a more relaxed visit. As a dog owner who has used pet sitters myself, I know how much peace of mind updates can provide. I’m happy to send photos and updates during visits so you know exactly how your pet is doing. Whether your dog wants to walk three miles, play fetch until my arm falls off, or just have someone hang out with them on the couch, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. 🐾 One thing you can count on: I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own.

Jen was a great host to our pup, Rocky! She kept us updated with how he was doing each day as well as sent daily pictures. I would definitely recommend Jen as a host: great communication, positive attitude, flexible schedule (ended up having to add an extra day) and reasonable prices. You won't be disappointed!

Jen genuinely loves caring for animals and has a history of walking dogs for family, friends, and locals in need of dog-walking. Additionally, Jen is good with taking care of pets when owners go out of town. It takes a lot for me to trust my animal in the hands of another, but Jen has proven herself to be a loving and caring pet sitter. She does not hesitate to contact me with questions/concerns, as well as fun photos of my furball to make my day when I'm gone. If you are looking for someone to care for your pet or walk your dog, I highly recommend Jen because of her experience and kind heart.
We have had Jen watch our dog Oliver several times, sometimes for a week or longer. She is great with him and we are confidant that he is well taken care of when she watches him. Oliver is an older large breed and Jen takes the time to be patient and accommodating to his needs. My wife and I highly recommend Jen!
Jen is caring, responsible, trustworthy, and great with pets. I trust her with my pets and would recommend her to be a pet caregiver. She is loving and treats animals with the utmost respect.
I would recommend Jen to care for any animal. She has dog sat for my very energetic beagle and has done an amazing job giving him the time and care that he requires. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was in good hands. I have recommended her to my family members where she cared for their German Shepherd, Weimaraner, and a Yorkie. She is very accommodating and compassionate.

Schedule
I currently work full time but am available both weekends anytime and during the week after 3 pm. I do make every effort to spend as much time as possible caring and attending to your furry friend!

Safety, trust & environment
I make sure to ensure the pets have water at all times, a clean environment, and a safe environment free from any hazards. I personally take my dog’s collar off if he is in his crate but would check with clients if they prefer that while I am gone. I make sure they get enough exercise and play time (and snuggles!)
