I’ve had the privilege of calling everything from fish to frogs my friends throughout my life and am passionate about all animals. Our senior dog recently passed but I have helped raise multiple dogs and am very experienced with a variety of pup temperaments, energy levels, and ages. I genuinely enjoy the process of getting to know each dog’s unique attributes and quirks and know how important it is to meet a dog where they’re at when they come into a new space with new people. I take pride in working to ensure that every animal feels safe, happy, and cared for in my home.

Micah was the perfect person to leave our sweet dog with! Micah was always quick and responsive to questions and sent so many photos and videos while we were away... I never once worried about our pup and knew she was in the best of hands. Our dog went on so many adventures and got so much attention that I think she was sad to come home! This was only our second time using Rover and we feel like we hit the jackpot with this family! You'll do yourself and your dog a big favor by booking with Micah :)
Micah is AWESOME! She treated Charlie like her own and welcomed him into her family. She kept us updated while we were away and made our trip enjoyable as we didn’t have to worry about him at all. When we picked him up, he was happy to see us but also didn’t want to leave his new BFF Micah behind. Definitely recommend her!

Micah took exceptional care of my dog, Panda. From the start, I felt comfortable leaving Panda in her home. Micah is thoughtful and conscientious; she asked great questions to make sure she understood Panda’s needs and routines. Beginning on day one, she sent regular updates and photos, which gave me real peace of mind. I could tell Panda was happy and well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Micah’s boarding services again.
Micah did the most INCREDIBLE job watching our pup for us over an extended holiday trip! I can't recommend her enough! She is clearly very experienced with dogs and is dedicated to taking the best care possible of them. Micah was very friendly, confident, and attentive. Communications with her were clear and timely. Micah did a fantastic job keeping us updated on how our dog was doing while we were away. Every day, she sent us a sweet little written summary of his activities that day accompanied by a great group of photos. It was obvious our boy had a great time and was kept very busy with lots of walks, fun adventures and outings, and hanging out with Micah and her family. I truly appreciate them welcoming my dog into their home and treating him as their own for the week. Thank you for a great stay!

Schedule
Working from home allows me to give extra attention to borders and my flexible schedule ensures that your dog will get the walks, outside time, and love it needs to feel safe and welcome. I am a very active person and am happy to bring borders along for hikes, runs, backyard play time, or to simply sit on the porch with them.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced backyard with plenty of space for a dog to explore. We have chickens, but they are fenced into a separate area. There is plenty of room in our home for your dog to curl up and get comfortable either with us or on its own. I am comfortable giving dogs oral or topical medication with proper direction and guidance. I am very aware of the needs of food-protective dogs and have the time, space in my home, and experience necessary to make sure they’re getting everything they need in the way they feel most comfortable. (Aka, we have plenty of room to separate the dogs at dinner time if that’s how they feel most at ease!)
A typical day
I am a very active person and have space for ball throwing, can take dogs for walks and hikes, and if your dog is used to going on runs we can do that too! Our backyard is a large garden with fun areas for dogs to explore during free time.
