I've had dogs and cats for 21 years and I've loved it all, even the hard parts. I was an elementary school teacher for 10 years, so I have lots of experience with meeting times/deadlines and dealing with problem-solving. I own a 101-year-old house so I am no stranger to quirky house issues as well. My wife and I have 3 wonderful dogs--2 rescues (pitbull/boxer/lab) and one giant breed (Newfoundland). She is also a highly rated sitter on Rover and we often coordinate on dog sits to get you the best possible care.

Because I was a school teacher for so many years, I am very focused on details. When I hire a dog sitter, I have laminated pages of directions and information to help them be successful and keep my dogs happy and healthy. I don't expect that level of direction from everyone but I do like to have specific directions so that I know that I am doing everything to your schedule/standards.

Alice was such a joy to work with and so good with Sadie. I got pictures while I was away and multiple check-ins and updates daily. We even got a great supplement recommendation from Alice for Sadie’s joints. She’s very knowledgeable and caring. Sadie and I will welcome her back in our home to house- and pet-set any time! 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.
Alice was wonderful! Quick to respond, punctual and my dogs are so happy. She was even able to handle my 150lb dog! I will certainly be booking her again and I can’t recommend her enough!

Schedule
My schedule is currently very flexible. I’m available most days and nights. We are staying in town for the holidays so we can help other families with pets. I keep my Rover calendar updated.
