This is all I do, full time. Well, I recently started door dashing when things are slow.. but I don’t have kids or any other responsibilities other than my four kitties that I need to feed twice daily. During busy times (holidays, summer, etc) I might be driving around all day to various pet check-ins and walks. However, most days, I’m free all day! So I’m very flexible and can work with any schedule you might need.

First, I’d prefer to schedule a meet and greet with you and your pets before scheduling. Not a necessity but definitely preferred! Things that are helpful for me to know ahead of time: - pet schedule and routine -(for dogs) are they leash trained, potty trained, etc? - (for dogs) how are they around other dogs, people, and small children? - has your pet ever been reactive? - is your pet shy or friendly? - do they require medication? *I will ask about current vet information! I have several clients that don’t have a vet yet because they recently moved here. I don’t require you to be registered with a vet but please know that if you do not have a preferred vet, in case of emergency i would need to go the emergency vet, which is usually much more expensive, even for basic treatment* I’d like to know things such as energy levels, medications, common behaviors, socialization levels, training techniques and rules. It’s good to know how they are on a leash and if they are good off the leash. Are they potty trained? Do they have a routine? Are they good around other dogs? Have they ever been reactive? How about around small children

Ideally I’d like to keep a pretty similar schedule to what you would be doing if it were you taking care of them instead of me. I don’t want to mess up your pet’s routine! PSA FOR DOG WALKS I cannot do walks if the outside temp is above 85 degrees. Im really sorry but it’s just not safe. I take two separate SSRI medications that severely altar how i handle heat, and i am much more prone to heat strokes and severe dehydration than people that don’t take these meds. I also have side effects like irritability and difficultly focusing and thinking clearly when i get too hot. it just really messes me up! i’ve always known this about my meds.. but last year i learned my lesson. i cannot be outside and physically active in temps above 85. i can be outside! like if dogs need potty breaks or whatever. but i cannot exercise in extreme heat. too dangerous. thanks for reading! 🐾🐾🐾🐾 Im also happy to help with bathing/grooming, if needed.

*note for existing clients re: availability - if my calendar shows that I’m not available during a time you need care, you’re still welcome to reach out and see if I can squeeze you in! I do that to avoid new client requests when my schedule is already mostly set, but my regulars are always welcome to reach out! 🫶 Hi! My name is Caitlin and I have been around animals my entire life! Seriously, I can’t remember a time in my life when I haven’t had at least 2 pets. I grew up with usually more like 5-7 at a time lol. I’ve been officially pet sitting for the last three years but I’ve been caring for my own animals my entire life! I have lots of experience with various situations such as elderly and high needs pets as well as with puppies, cats, kittens, chickens, fish, hamsters, birds, reptiles, farm animals, and more! I often help out with my mom’s menagerie of animals that have included dogs that are blind, epileptic, elderly, diabetic, and unsocialized. I am comfortable with dogs and pets of all sizes! I’m also very comfortable with handling lots of pets at once. I’ve helped with large untrained puppies and handled homes with 12-18 animals including dogs, cats, and chickens all on my own. Pet-care is pretty much all I do at this point and I’m 100% fully committed to it. I’m honestly on Rover to hopefully meet more regular clients and gain more experience so that hopefully I can run my own pet sitting business some day. That said, I absolutely am more than happy and able to do one-time jobs too!! I put all my energy into caring for your pets. I am responsible, reliable, communicative, prompt, and above all, caring and passionate about animals. I will treat your pets as if they’re my own and I vow to never, ever leave you or them stranded last minute if I can help it unless there’s something out of my control (if I suddenly died, lost consciousness, etc, or had privacy/safety concerns would be the only things I can think of that could cause that kind of situation.) I want to do a good job and you’ll know it! Ever since I was a little girl I’ve felt sensitive to the needs of animals. I like to believe I’m an animal empath. I treat your pets as if they’re my own and will do whatever it takes to provide a fun, safe, and enriching pet sitting experience! The first answer I ever remember having to the question: “What do you want to be when you grow up?”, is a veterinarian. Then, as I got older, I realized that a vet only sees pets on their worst days most of the time. I didn’t want to deal with the sad parts of being an animal lover. So I gave up on the idea of a career with animals for a while. But recently, within the last few years as I’ve been called to care for pets for friends and family, who then recommended me to their friends and family, and so on.. that this IS my passion and my path. I don’t know if I will be successful enough to make this my entire career but right now, I’m giving it my all. Therefore, it would mean everything to me if you chose me for the opportunity to be your pet sitter. I promise I won’t let you down.

Caitlin watched all three of my cats while I was out of the country. She sent lovely, detailed notes, took amazing pictures, and was so so so good to my trio of kitties. She took excellent care of their equipment and did a great job communicating about their supplies so I could coordinate. I’d absolutely book her again next time I need someone to look after my cats.

I'd give Caitlin 6 stars if I could!
Caitlin is the best! She is so kind and takes great care with animals!

Caitlin is the best!! Can’t recommend her enough - she’s so sweet with my puppy, Barbie!
