About: My name is Mac Graf and my husband and I live right outside Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and am the Director of Sports Medicine as my full-time job. Since my job is 90% remote work, I have the flexibility to take my dogs on a walk or play outside in the fenced in area of our home multiple times a day. About: First and foremost, I absolutely adore animals! Even as a kid, I would only accompany my mother to visit her friends, who had dogs or cats in their home. I appreciate, respect, and can relate to the bond humans have with their pets. They are very much family and there's nothing more satisfying than seeing your fur baby comfortable, relaxed, and content, in our home or yours, while you're away. We only board 2 dogs at a time, to ensure a quiet, calm, and more relaxing stay, and have a large fenced in backyard for playtime. Dogs staying with us must be house trained. We also have a cat, who loves to play with dogs, so to ensure his safety, any dogs boarding with us must be cat friendly. Some of my previous work experience includes 4 years as a veterinary assistant and I'm comfortable with administering medication, if needed. I have dog training experience and have even trained two of our own to become registered therapy dogs. Together, we serve our community by providing pet therapy in shelters for domestic violence victims, assisted living facilities, our local university, in elementary schools, and wherever she's needed. I currently work with German Shepherd Rescue organizations, assessing temperaments/behavior, conducting home visits, and fostering. We live near the airport, which makes it ideal for dropping off and picking up when traveling for work or going on vacation. Several of my clients leave their babies with us when leaving the country. About: Rescuing dogs — especially puppies — is the most rewarding feeling in life. The most important thing with our furry friends is consistency. If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything. I match their pace, not mine. I don't know if anything really sets me apart from other sitters. I just genuinely want to be there for the furry family member. My availability in inconsistent due to Firefighting but I will always respond as soon as I'm able too. I understand due to my schedule I won't the best sitter for if you need someone daily, but if you need someone to drop-in, walk your dog, or just need a night out, feel free to leave a message. About: I’ve cared for animals since I was about 10 years old. I’ve helped train puppies from a young age, and nursed kittens from 3-weeks old. More recently I’ve helped nurse and rehabilitate my senior dog after her major ACL surgery. She was sling bound for 6 weeks so I feel very comfortable with a large range of ages, and needs in cats and dogs. As I said, I work fully remote so my pets pretty much have constant care unless I’m traveling for work. I typically let my dog out about 3-4 times a day depending on her needs, so I’m happy to do the same for your dog. She gets fed twice a day, as well as my cat. Every now and then we will switch out dry food for wet food just to give them both some variety, so I’m happy to do the same for your pet. You and your pet’s comfortability are my priority so I’m happy to cater to your preferences.
About: I've grown up with several cats. My best friend and the love of my life is a tabby cat I've had since I was 12 years old. I didn't have a dog growing up but I frequently cared for my neighbors Great Pyrenees. My first dog as an adult was a rescue coonhound mix and my current dog is a purebred Redbone Coonhound. I live in an apartment with 2 cats and a dog. I work part time at Food Lion, but I'm wanting to be a full-time pet sitter. Humans are too complicated for me. Plus it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my dog! I live in an apartment but I'm very active. I utilize all the trails and parks in the area and I bring along my buddy Cheeto, a foster Redbone Coonhound who loves other dogs, as well as my new puppy!

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I have experience caring for puppies, elderly dogs and sick/disabled dogs. I can administer medication, if needed. My dogs are our family members and yours will be treated the same. I am currently working from home so your pet won’t be left home alone for very long periods. I am available during the week and weekends including holidays. I have two very sweet and mellow Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to keep your doggie company. They will have access to 2 separate fenced in areas, one with a doggie door. Your dog can be crated or not and are welcome on the furniture with our dogs. Ours sleep in an x-pen together but your dog can sleep where ever it prefers. I want them to be comfortable like it is their own home.
