1. Amber K.
“Amber is very caring and truly loves animals. She tended to our dogs and even bought a couple toys for them to keep them extra happy. She was attentive and took pictures as well as took them for walks for fun. We were in a wedding and our sitter cancelled on us last minute. She helped us for a second weekend in a row and was prompt in responding to our request. She is awesome.”
2. Sara W.
“We felt totally at ease leaving our pups with Sara. Her energy is calm and gentle and I could tell that our pups were just as comfortable as we were. She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures and we came home to a clean house and happy, tired out pups. What more could you ask for? We would definitely call Sara again!”
3. Aleta M.
“Aleta is truly exceptional when it comes to caring for animals. I’ve known her for many years, and her empathy for pets is unmatched. She treats each one as an individual, taking the time to understand their unique needs and personalities. I’ve seen her work with shy dogs, helping them come out of their shell, and she’s amazing at providing energetic playtime for more active pets. Her passion for animals shines through in everything she does. Whether it’s giving medication or cuddling up for some quiet time, Aleta always knows exactly what each pet needs.”
4. Stacey L.
“Stacey is absolutely the best - she took such good care of our dog!! We were nervous about leaving for a few days, but as it turned out we had no reason to be - she cared for him as if he were her own. We feel very fortunate to have found her.”
5. Abigail C.
“Abigail did an excellent job of caring for Corky (a 5 lb multipoo) in her home. Corky loved her. Abigail even picked her up and brought her back home. I would highly recommend Abigail.”
6. Ginger T.
“Ginger was great. Arrived early and took very good care of my dog. Sent me text pictures during the stay. I could tell that Jazz really liked her. The stay was for just a few hours to allow me to attend a social event, but I was happy to pay, the full overnight charge as Ginger was very professional, very pleasant and indeed very reliable. She would be my first choice in the Highlands/Cashiers NC area when I am traveling there. MKW.”
7. Madeline M.
“Madeline did a good job with my fur babies and I would definitely use her again.”
8. Hayley S.
“It was my first time using Rover and of course I was nervous about leaving my 2 not so little soul mates, Olive & Kipper! After I messaged Hayley she quickly responded and suggested we met in a public park so she could meet them. At first meeting I was blown away by her professionalism and her instant love for my puppachino’s! Whilst away she sent several updates of how they were doing, along with adorable pictures of everyone playing and snuggling! I was able to enjoy my trip away to New England knowing that they were being loved so wonderfully! Upon returning home, Hayley had even gone above and beyond looking after our home as well. My instructions were “as long as my babies are thriving then nothing else matters”, however she had kept the place beautifully tidy (I’m a bit OCD with having a clean home, and I was impressed). I cannot tell you how happy I am knowing that I have someone I trust with my two 70lbs pitbull love bugs! I’d recommend Hayley to anyone and everyone!! She truly is special ?”
9. Megan K.
“Megan did a phenomenal job taking care of Kyla while we were out of the country. My other sitter cancelled last minute due to an injury to her leg 2 days before leaving. Megan stepped up last minute and gave Kyla the extra attention and love that she needed. We felt completely comfortable while away thanks to the updates about her condition, plethora of pictures, and prompt replies! She even went to the vet to pick up additional meds and provided an update about the vets suggestions. We could not have been more comfortable, appreciative, and overall overjoyed with how well she took care of Kyla. We will absolutely be requesting her services again any time we cannot bring Kyla along!! Thanks for an incredible job!! Also, she took exceptional care of the house while we were away, going above and beyond as if it were her own. We cannot thank you enough!”
10. Levon B.
“Levon is amazing! My boy Melvin is very skittish and inclined to be fearful of new men, but Levon put him at ease right away, and Melvin was licking his face and trying to climb on him within minutes of our first meeting! I’m blown away by how Levon immediately knew exactly how to handle and communicate with Melvin—my guy is definitely a tough case with major anxiety and leash reactivity (which means 62 lbs jerking at your arm when our passing-trigger protocol fails to keep him calm), and Levon is literally the one and only person I feel comfortable handing the leash to as of right now. I was finally able to take a three-day trip without Melvin over Thanksgiving because of Levon—I hadn’t been able to do that since adopting him because he’s such a handful and has some special needs—and I was actually able to enjoy myself without worrying about Melvin! For him it was just a great visit with his buddy who took him for awesome outings to walk and hike, and quality time at the house where he received lots of love and attention. Melvin and I are so grateful to have Levon as our go-to now for when I want to schedule trips, and also as someone who can bring him out on adventures for extra exercise and stimulation!”
11. Katherine G.
“Kate took great care of our dogs while we were on vacation! This was our first time using Rover and a pet sitter to stay at our home and we felt completely comfortable and will definitely use Kate again. She treated our home with care and respect and was also so good with the dogs and their needs. We received pictures and video updates throughout our time away that really helped us feel connected. We returned home to two happy pups. We would highly recommend Kate to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter.”
12. Julie C.
“I've been around around Julie with her own pets and other folks' pets,(and mine), the critters seem to be drawn to her and she's very caring and loving toward them! My pinion, she'd be the best pet sitter that person could ask for!”
13. Kayla W.
“Excellent daily communication including pics of our pups. They had walks and snuggles. Once we were home, they even went looking for Kayla in the spare bedroom. They clearly bonded in the sweetest way. Highly recommend Kayla, and we have already confirmed her for our travel next week. Our pups love her. A true gem! ~Lisa Ann & Miguel”
14. Megan W.
“Megan and Josh did an amazing job watching our pups! They send many great pictures of Georgie and Evie during their stay and we can’t wait to have them back. I know for a fact the pups enjoyed their time! Highly recommend!!! :)”
15. Thomas M.
“I have used Thomas as a dog walker and recently as a house and dog sitter. Our pup was very happy and Thomas provided daily pictures and pup news. I felt very comfortable leaving Thomas in our home and with our pup. Highly recommend”
16. Brenda T.
“Brenda was excellent with my Sam. Couldn’t have found a more wonderful person. She took the best care of Sam anyone could have ask for . If you are looking for a sitter Brenda is the best.”

18. Rebecca R.
“Rebecca and her husband did an excellent job pet sitting our dog. They gave her plants of affection, playtime and love. We highly recommend her to pet sit. I will definitely have them dog sit for us again. Thank you guys for a wonderful job.”
19. Noel C.
“Bonny had an exciting overnight with Noel! She loved exploring Noel's house and taking walks around the neighborhood. Noel was great with communicating with me about bonny and even sent me fun shots of Bonny playing. I highly recommend Noel and am looking forward to working with her again!”
20. Christine G.
“For the first time since having our two German Short Haired pointers we were in a situation where we needed someone we did not know to watch out dogs for us while we travelled for Thanksgiving. Like many of you our dogs might as well be our children so this left us with a good bit of anxiety. We met Christine through Rover and we could not have been happier with her. She visited our home to meet our pups and get a good understanding of their routine. Christine stayed at our home for 2 nights and gave us updates on how things were going. Christine is a pro and very experienced. We will continue to use her whenever we need to have our dogs watched. Thank you Christine!”
