“Laina was an excellent caretaker for Cooper. Cooper has lots of anxiety and needs lots of patience which Laina was able to provide. She had great communication the whole time and made me feel comfortable Cooper was cared for. As difficult as Cooper can be to handle she was able to do it. I would happily recommend Laina to anyone who wants their dog cared for properly for their specific needs. She even got Cooper to feel comfortable enough to lick her hand which is not like him with new people. Great communication, great care, ten out of ten experience, by far the best I could’ve hired. About: I've lived with dogs my entire life and taken care of them since I was 10. I love all kinds of dogs and would love to work with any kind that is friendly. I currently dogsit for a lovely German shepherd with many allergies. I give him medication as needed and wipe his paws after potty time. I currently go to college M-F with Tuesdays and Thursdays being my longest day. If you need to schedule anything on those days please message me and we may work out a schedule. I do not offer service in my own home due to my own animals, but I would be willing to offer sitting business on the days I am available in the owners home. I care for the animals any way that the owner requests, such as light grooming, walking, playing, and feeding.

About: I grew up caring for my neighbors’ dogs whenever they were out of town, and I have continued to build hands-on experience with dogs throughout my adult life. Over the past ten years, I have cared for two high-energy pit bulls, which has strengthened my confidence handling active, strong, and playful dogs. I am friendly and comfortable with dogs of all types, and I consider myself a reliable and attentive dog walker. As an Eagle Scout, I value responsibility, trust, and treating both people and animals with respect. I have also trained my current dog, Bowie, through Kabler Dog School, and I strive to follow their best practices when caring for my own dog and any pets I work with. I am currently returning to school, which gives me a flexible weekday schedule for pet care. I have always enjoyed working with dogs and pride myself on maintaining an active lifestyle, making me a great fit for walks, playtime, and attentive care. I am available Monday through Friday for pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in activity visits. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, their safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I respect each client’s home, routines, and boundaries, and I make sure to follow any specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and rest.
