We did a meet and greet first and Miranda answered all of our (helicopter pawrent) questions and made us feel at ease with him in her care. Bill gets along with all dogs.. Nate’s backyard is amazing and perfect and shaded. It has a lot of shade for Hot North Carolina days. He was very attentive to my dogs when I had a concern about my female during the day.. he really knows how to handle an acclimate dogs. I highly recommend him.. I never worried about leaving my dogs with him while I was at a very long all day class for three days. About: I have had a love for animals my whole life and been watching animals since I was 15. I know CPR and first aid for humans along with animals. I also have experience working at rescue shelters and humane societies. About: Hi, I am a compassionate and dependable recent retiree. My two senior dogs passed away in the past 6 months and I am without any fur-babies for the first time in decades. I am honored to spend quality time with your loved one so you can have a worry-free vacation and I can have some doggy/kitty time! I am newly retired and have plenty of free time. I do have community activities out but they do not dominate my day. I spend my time focused on creativity (working on art and music projects) at home. So your pup will have company pretty much all day whether you are boarding with me or I am housesitting for you. I am very active and have a daily exercise and yoga routine and my home is a healthy and veg-friendly household. I'll gladly walk your dog to the level he/she is used to (if it's hot I will walk early morning and/or evenings). My intention is to have your baby feel loved and safe with lots of attention and play and by sticking to the routine as you dictate. I am very tidy/neat and respectful of your home. I'm happy to water your plants etc. If boarding in my home, I am here most of the time. My husb and I Iive in a house with a big fenced in yard so there is plenty of room for your pup to do his or her business and run around and chase a toy. The neighborhood is very walkable and dog-friendly. I can also take your dog in the car to favorite walks (with your permission). If boarding in my home, I request that your dog is 100% house-trained and has good social skills/manners as well as being comfortable with having their own bed to sleep in.

About: Between us, we have always had an animal in our lives - from ferrets and horses to cats and dogs. Nichole was a professional dog walker in Boston before moving to Asheville, so she has experience with all sizes and temperaments. Jackson is certified in American Service Pet training as well, so you can rest assured they are in good, capable hands during their stay. We both work outside of the home - Jackson as a maintenance worker and Nichole as a doctor - so our fur babies are usually lounging inside or in our fenced in yard. That said, we always make sure one of us will be home when we have any pets staying with us. On the weekends, we love spending time out in nature, especially around bodies of water and would love to safely bring your pet along. When you trust us to watch your animals, we’ll follow whatever rules you’d like. They can run around in our fenced in yard or stay inside. We have a large crate as well if your animal prefers that. We have a Bernedoodle that loves playing with new friends, as long as they are not aggressive. We have two indoor cats that love playing with our dog, but would also not do well with an aggressive dog. We love to train dogs as well and are happy reinforce the work you are doing while they stay with us.

About: While I have had dogs previously, I also worked as a kennel tech at a boarding facility, where I was in charge of caring for, administering medication, feeding, and playing with dogs and cats! I have experience with all breeds of dogs, as well as seniors and puppies alike! I am a college student so I do have class every day, but my schedule varies by day so just ask! Depending on your pup, that might include sniff walks, Kongs, lick mats, snuffle mats, sprinkler or kiddie-pool play in the yard, fetch, or supervised creek adventures. With your permission, well-suited pups can also join us for dog-friendly walking trails or an occasional brewery outing. About: Growing up with two veterinarian parents, animals have been a central part of my life for almost 3 decades. I have extensive experience in caring for animals, including senior pets, and have two vets on speed dial! I work an on-call schedule largely from home, but there are times I am out of the house for work (usually 3-4 hours at a time). My dog is used to regular feeding hours, daily walks, and plenty of outside yard time. Your dog will have access to a fenced in yard, a friendly black shepherd for company, and plenty of couch space to rest. There are options for ball throwing, squeaky toy cuddling, and lots of air-conditioning vent laying. Feel free to drop off your pups favorite treats as well!
