Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, exercise, medications (if needed), and any special care to ensure your pet feels comfortable and safe. I live on a large property with plenty of room for dogs to explore, play, and enjoy supervised outdoor time. We also have quiet dirt roads that are perfect for walks. For dogs who love getting out and about, I’m happy to visit local parks and trails like Richmond Hill, the River Arts District Greenway, Bent Creek, and other areas throughout North and West Asheville—always with your permission and only if it’s a good fit for your dog’s personality and activity level. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, active, and well cared for.

Please let me know about their feeding schedule, favorite activities, medications, allergies, fears or anxieties, leash behavior, recall, interactions with other animals, and any commands or training they know. The more I know about your pet ahead of time, the better I can provide a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience that feels as close to home as possible.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to match activities to their personality and energy level. For active dogs, that might mean long walks, short runs, games of fetch, swimming (if they enjoy it), hikes on dog-friendly trails, or exploring local parks. For more relaxed pets, I’m just as happy spending time giving belly rubs, playing with toys, practicing simple commands, or enjoying a leisurely stroll. For cats, I love interactive play with toys, treats, enrichment games, and, of course, plenty of cuddles and attention on their terms. No matter the activity, my goal is to make sure every pet gets plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, affection, and one-on-one attention so they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away.
