She was patient, attentive, and genuinely caring with him, and she went above and beyond to make his stay a positive experience. She also took him on long walks and made sure he got plenty of attention and exercise. What really stood out to me was how calm and comfortable Henry was when I picked him up. He was also warm and friendly towards Lily, which is a huge deal because Henry is usually not very comfortable or friendly with strangers. Seeing how comfortable he was with her made me feel confident that he had been in great hands. Lily is kind, responsible, communicative, and clearly loves and cares about the dogs she watches. I felt completely at ease knowing Henry was with her, and I would absolutely use her again. About: The first dog that I fell in love with was Charlie, my best friend’s beagle. I cared for him for weeks at a time, and that’s when I realized how much I enjoy looking after dogs. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for several pets, both on and off the books, and each experience has made me love it even more. Although I’ve never owned a dog myself, I have a deep respect and appreciation for them. I understand the dedication, planning, and responsibility that goes into making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. As much as we wish we could bring our pets everywhere, sometimes the best choice is leaving them in a place where they feel at home. That’s the experience I aim to provide: reliable and thoughtful care that supports your pet’s comfort without requiring you to sacrifice your plans. I am currently unemployed and I live with my parents (who also love dogs), so there’s almost always someone home. I was working at Central Park for these last few months, but now that the season is over I can dedicate myself to working my dream job… along with finding a career that goes with my degree. I’ve cared for dogs both in my own home and in clients’ homes. Our quiet neighborhood has plenty of small parks and green spaces for quick walks or a good 30–35 minute wander. I also have a ground-floor apartment with a fenced backyard where dogs can roam, zoom, or take care of their business when a full walk isn’t ideal. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow whatever routine works best for their dog. I can stay overnight or visit in the mornings and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and light grooming. My priority is keeping each dog comfortable by sticking to the routine they know.
