Personalized care for your dog or cat - Flushing

Highly-rated overnight sitters - Flushing
“Denis was the absolute perfect sitter for Mowgli! I was very nervous to be leaving him with strangers for the first time while on vacation for a whole week, as he’s typically a very anxious cat. But Denis was super communicative throughout the entire process and really put my mind at ease. He sent texts and photo updates every day and made sure to check in about how Momo was doing. If you are looking for someone who specifically understands and appreciates cat temperaments and needs, I highly recommend Denis! I think Mowgli had a better vacation than I did. I will certainly be booking with him again for any future cat sitting needs!”

He over-communicated in the best way!!! Sent me updates and photos of my pup which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. “We are new cat owners and have never gone away for vacation with our cat before. Laura was charming and professional. Super-prompt and responsive. And, I don’t know her trick, but our cat LOVED her. This is a usually very timid and anxious cat, but she just immediately (from the first minute!) felt completely at ease with Laura. It was magic!”

“Charlie very gracefully accommodated our last minute request to drop in on our two cats, which we really appreciate. He did an outstanding job ensuring they had food, water, and litter, and was very responsive. We loved receiving updates on the cats every day. Would book again if I have the opportunity.”

About: absolutely love cats and think they are the sweetest, most cuddly creatures! Growing up with my own childhood cats, Muffin and Rayray, taught me everything about feline behavior and care. I have been taking care of cats of every kind since I was 10 years old, and friends, family, and neighbors have always relied on me to check in, feed, and play with their beloved pets. I promise to give your kitties all the love, cuddles, and attention they deserve!

“Fadong (Ricky) went so far above and beyond. When the doorman lost my spare keys, he helped me arrange for a locksmith and also took the keys home to safekeep them. I cannot say enough good things.”

About: Cats have always felt like an easy match for me, I understand that they need trust built on their terms, not forced affection. I've cared for shy cats who needed a quiet approach and slow blinks before they'd come out from under the bed, as well as confident cats who wanted playtime with a wand toy the moment I walked in. I know how to read litter box habits and appetite as signs something might be off, keep to feeding schedules precisely, and give scratching posts and cat trees instead of furniture. Whether it's a senior cat on a routine or a kitten full of energy, I adjust to what each cat actually needs and send photo updates so you can see they're comfortable the whole time.

“Hemei did a great job taking care of our cat. She did everything we asked and was very communicative. We felt very comfortable being away with our cat in her care and would definitely book her again.”

“Dorothy was wonderful—pleasant, punctual (even early!), and took great care of Mochi. Communication was smooth and easy throughout. Will definitely book again.”

“Sally is very professional, prompt, trustworthy and courteous. Thank you so much for taking care of my baby while I was away!! More than happy to work with Sally again for my future trips!”

“Lawrence was an absolute dream sitter. The cats instantly loved him. He went above and beyond the call of a normal pet sitter. 100% would recommend. Great communication. A++”

About: I’m an experienced pet parent and a proud cat mom of 6 cats. Caring for multiple cats has helped me develop a strong understanding of different personalities, behaviors, and individual needs. Beyond caring for my own cats, I have provided in-home cat care for friends, including caring for two cats while they were away. I have also gained professional pet-sitting experience through another pet care platform, where I regularly care for an 8-year-old cat for a repeat client who has trusted me as her go-to sitter. My experience includes feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, grooming, medication support when needed, and providing companionship for cats with different temperaments. I understand that every cat has their own routine and personality, and I always take the time to make them feel safe and comfortable in their own home. When caring for your pets, I treat them like my own. I will provide thoughtful updates, photos, and attentive care so you can feel confident and relaxed while you’re away.

“Jun was a great sitter for my cat, Dusty, while I was away. It gave me real peace of mind knowing Dusty was in such caring and responsible hands. I especially appreciated that he continually sent me pictures and updates of Dusty, which reassured me that he was comfortable and happy. It was clear that he was attentive, patient, and genuinely caring. I truly appreciate the time, effort, and love he gave, and I would absolutely trust him again in the future. Thank you for being so dependable.”

About: Honestly looking to pet sit for the experience and to pass time. I’ve owned a family dog for 12 years and have lived with my roommates 2 cats for a summer. I’ve also spent many weekends cuddling and caring for my previous partner’s and friend’s cats. As a pet sitter, I hope to care for cute pets and take on higher responsibilities with attending to you and your valuable pet’s needs.

About: I've been a cat lover all my life, and I've lived with and cared for my own cats for almost as long. I've also been a cat caretaker with my local animal shelter, so I have experience meeting and socializing with unfamiliar cats, as well as cleaning and health monitoring in a variety of environments. And yes, as Rover prompts me to say, I do have a deep passion for cleaning litter boxes.
“Angelica was very friendly and attentive, great communication before booking and while she was taking care of my cat. I previously never had to hire someone to care for my cat while I was away, so this was new and a little worrisome for me, but after meeting Angelica I felt my cat would be in great hands. She made sure to send pics of how much food was eaten so I could give input on that if needed. She also took the time to sit with my rather shy cat so that halfway thru the week she warmed up enough for Angelica to be able to pet/play with her. Highly recommended!”

About: I’ve owned cats my entire life. My little girl is 14 years old and needy! I’ve watched cats and I always make sure they’re fed, given fresh water, their litter box is done, and they’re always given lots of love!

About: I've spent years walking dogs and have also looked after friends' pups during trips, so I know how to read a dog and keep them comfortable in any situation. I always come prepared with water and treats, and I pay close attention to each dog's energy and limits. If a smaller dog needs to cool down and rest in the shade, that's exactly what we do. I'm starting law school in August, so this summer I'm wide open and looking to spend as much time outside as possible — your dog is the perfect excuse. Once classes begin, walking dogs is honestly my ideal way to decompress between sessions. Whether it's a long summer morning walk or a midday break from studying, I'll always show up ready to go. I don't offer in-home sitting, but safety on the walk is something I take seriously. If we pass another dog, I always move to the side, cross the street, or pick up smaller dogs if needed — whatever keeps your pup comfortable and out of a situation they didn't ask for.

“We needed a super last minute dog watcher and found Emily. She was accommodating and flexible as we were driving in from out of state, when we arrived she showed us her space and it was really clean with a nice enclosed backyard. She sent photos throughout the day and notes about our dog. Emily was great and we highly recommend her!!”

“Juliana and her family made Odin’s first daycare with them very pleasant! About: Grew up around cats and dogs, so I do know my way around them. I’m always the go to person for friends and family when they need help or dog sitting. I work full time, however that doesn’t stop me from coming home to my babies and have a play session before bed. Weekends are devoted solely to them and can never forget a brunch date without Dumbo. After an outdoor visit, there’s always a full paws and body wipe down to to ensure they are clean. It keeps both them and my home clean since my pets are allowed on every piece of furniture I own.
“I found Jennifer while searching for a dogsitter for Thanksgiving. She was terrific. We did a meet-and-greet beforehand to get acquainted. She is very nice and clearly comfortable with dogs. She was flexible with timing (drop off and pick up) and sent me messages and pictures for updates. Very grateful she was available for the holiday. I recommend Jennifer to anyone with a dog who is looking for a sitter.”

About: What sets me apart is the combination of hands-on experience, professional pet care skills, and a home environment designed around each dog’s individual needs. I have about 5 years of experience caring for dogs, including dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I pay close attention to body language, comfort level, and interactions so I can recognize when a dog is relaxed, overwhelmed, or needs more personal space. Pet care is my full-time focus, and I’m both pet CPR certified and a certified groomer. This allows me to provide attentive daily care while also helping with brushing, bathing, coat care, and general cleanliness when requested. My home has a private backyard of approximately 900 square feet for supervised outdoor play and potty breaks, along with additional rooms that allow me to separate dogs based on size, temperament, energy level, or individual comfort needs. I understand that every dog has a different routine, so I do my best to accommodate feeding schedules, sleeping preferences, sensitivities, and other special instructions from parents. I also send frequent photo and video updates throughout each stay. My goal is not only to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, but also to give parents real peace of mind while they are away. Caring for dogs is a major part of my daily life and my full-time focus. Because I have a flexible schedule, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular potty breaks, outdoor play, feeding, rest time, and plenty of individual attention throughout the day. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and adjusting their routine so they can feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay. I’m pet CPR certified and also a certified groomer, so I’m comfortable providing basic coat care, brushing, bathing, and grooming services when requested. For longer boarding stays, I’m happy to include a complimentary basic bath when appropriate. For shorter stays, bathing or grooming services can be added for an additional fee. My priority is always to provide attentive, reliable, and personalized care for every dog staying with me. I live in a clean and well-kept home with a private backyard of approximately 900 square feet, giving dogs plenty of space for supervised outdoor play, potty breaks, and fresh air throughout the day. I also have additional rooms available, which allows me to separate dogs by size, energy level, or comfort needs when necessary. This helps each dog have a safe and quiet place to rest, settle in, and decompress without feeling overwhelmed. I have a 3-year-old Border Collie who is very sweet, gentle, and full of positive energy. He has done very well with other dogs and enjoys spending time and playing with them. I carefully supervise all interactions and introduce dogs gradually, while paying close attention to their body language, personality, and comfort level. I never force dogs to interact if they need more time or personal space. Throughout the day, I provide regular potty breaks, supervised backyard time, playtime, and plenty of opportunities to relax comfortably indoors. I also try to follow each dog’s normal feeding, sleeping, and daily routine as closely as possible. Sleeping arrangements can be flexible based on the owner’s preference and the dog’s needs. For dogs who are more sensitive or feel more secure near people, I can arrange for them to sleep in the same room with me. After outdoor time, I clean the dogs’ paws to help keep them comfortable and maintain a clean living environment. I also pay attention to brushing and overall cleanliness throughout their stay. My goal is to provide a safe, structured, and welcoming home where every dog receives individualized care and owners can feel confident while they are away.
“Our Buddy Rumpus spent the whole day playing! We got pictures of a happy boy all day long. We're always nervous about leaving him with someone new but he was in great hands. She even brushed him before we brought him home.”

About: I had being around animals my entire life, and I consider pets as a part of the family. For me an animal is just like a person, most of them are like kids if you go out, bring water, snacks and toys for them. If your in the house they want attention and all the love that you can give them. Always have clean clean and fresh water, give them the food on time, play with them and always take care of them. Don’t leave them for long periods of time by themselves, and make sure they are healthy. Take them out at least two times at day and if it’s to cold outside put them the coat and the boots if it is necessary.

“Laura is awesome with my dog Samson. He looks forward to seeing her and loves his walks! Laura is extremely timely and dependable which I need because I have a little one. I recommend her services to anyone!”

“This was the second time Charlie helped me out and I couldn’t be happier . He came and met the pup he offered advice and asked many questions about Bruce’s personality and preferences. I asked to change time of the walk and he was very flexible! I am super happy with him and will continue on using him exclusively!”

About: I’ve had a family dog for 12 years before and taught her some neat tricks. Fed her, bathe her, played with her, cuddled her, and more. Years after she passed away, I’d walk and take care of my friend’s pets for some weekends. I’ll be heading to graduate school soon, which led me to recently quit my full time job. This also means that I have a lot of time and availability to care for your beloved animals as if they were my own. I’m familiar with walking, feeding, bathing dogs and looking out for their behaviors to keep them feeling safe and happy. I’m also very open to learning new skills regarding care for your pets to provide the best services possible.
About: The first dog that I fell in love with was Charlie, my best friend’s beagle. I cared for him for weeks at a time, and that’s when I realized how much I enjoy looking after dogs. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for several pets, both on and off the books, and each experience has made me love it even more. Although I’ve never owned a dog myself, I have a deep respect and appreciation for them. I understand the dedication, planning, and responsibility that goes into making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. As much as we wish we could bring our pets everywhere, sometimes the best choice is leaving them in a place where they feel at home. That’s the experience I aim to provide: reliable and thoughtful care that supports your pet’s comfort without requiring you to sacrifice your plans. I am currently unemployed and I live with my parents (who also love dogs), so there’s almost always someone home. I was working at Central Park for these last few months, but now that the season is over I can dedicate myself to working my dream job… along with finding a career that goes with my degree. I’ve cared for dogs both in my own home and in clients’ homes. Our quiet neighborhood has plenty of small parks and green spaces for quick walks or a good 30–35 minute wander. I also have a ground-floor apartment with a fenced backyard where dogs can roam, zoom, or take care of their business when a full walk isn’t ideal. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow whatever routine works best for their dog. I can stay overnight or visit in the mornings and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and light grooming. My priority is keeping each dog comfortable by sticking to the routine they know.
About: I've cared for both dogs and cats my whole life-- I've never lived without a pet! I also have experience as a volunteer caretaker through my local animal shelter, and a deep passion for animal welfare and happiness. I work part-time and am a part-time student, so please check my calendar for availability. I have class from 4-9pm Tuesday & Wednesday and my work schedule is typically the day shift on Monday and Thursday. Again, if there are any deviances, I will mark them on the calendar! I'm happy to let your pet set the pace-- if they're a cuddle bug, I'll give them snuggles, and if they need some time to warm up, I'll sit quietly while they get used to me. If your puppy feels the need for speed, I'll take him on a sprightly jog, but if your senior prefers to take the scenic route, we can stop and sniff every tree. I'll listen to your instructions and preferences and theirs.
“I am very happy with Carolina. I have two very different dogs. One is high energy and very dominant while the other one is very timid. She handled both for the very well. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Hemei has been great with my dog Kiara! She walks her a 3-4 times a week and is very responsive, professional, and communicative. She is very flexible with her schedule which is amazing since my week to week work schedule sometime varies. Hemei made the extra trek for a meet and greet before starting so that I could rest assured that my dog would be comfortable with her. She is reliable and a true dog lover and you know she will look after your fur baby as her own. Highly recommend her!”

“Diego was amazing with my dog, Chai! He was super punctual and brought him back right on time after exactly an hour, which I really appreciated. He also kept me updated the whole time with pictures and messages, which made me feel so much more at ease while I was at work.”

“Cynthia is fantastic! She's a responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely kind person. Most importantly, all of my pets love her! She loves animals and cares for my dog and cats like they were her own. Highly recommended!”

About: I just graduated from Boston University and am now back home in NYC! I would love to be able to look after my neighborly cats and dogs and make sure they are taken care of while their loved ones are away. :) I take the time to learn each pet’s quirks, and comfort spots before day one, and I send regular photo and video updates so you're never left wondering how things are going! I work remotely from home, so my schedule is genuinely flexible and pet care fits naturally into my day. I’m available anytime during the week, not just evenings or weekends, so I can adjust to your pet’s routine rather than the other way around. Whether it’s a midday walk, a feeding schedule, or checking in between meetings, I have the time and flexibility to cater to what your pet actually needs. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, safety and consistency come first. In your home, I follow your routines exactly, feeding times, medications, walk schedules, so your pet’s day stays as normal as possible while you’re away. If care happens at my place, I keep a calm, distraction-free space and give your pet my full attention rather than juggling other animals. I don’t have pets of my own, which means no territorial issues, no competing for food or attention, and no risk of picking up something from another animal. I’m comfortable using crates, baby gates, or leashes if that’s part of your pet’s routine, and I always check in with you before making any changes.
“Janet is amazing with my dog Luke. He enjoys his time with her. She takes Luke on nice long walks which he can’t get enough of. He comes home super happy and ready for a nap. I highly recommend her”

“Angelica has been our dog walker for about or even over two years now. I trust her fully with my furbaby and my dog loves seeing her so much! I’m very grateful to have found Angelica who loves and cares for all animals like they are her own.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets my whole life but really started about 5 years ago. When I was young I would help neighbors, friends, and family with their pets and loved it. From daily walks and feeding to baths and playtime, I treat every pet like my own. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I am understanding that some pets may need extra patience or a lot of activity for a high-energy and playful pup. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved. I’m a graduate student with evening classes only, so I am free throughout the day to give your pets plenty of attention, care, and love! I am able to take pets on long walks in various different areas depending on breed and energy levels for the pet to ensure they have a positive experience!

“Jessica walked Janie twice a day while we were out of town and Janie was staying with my mother. Jessica took pictures and sent detailed descriptions of how the walk went. My mom tells me Janie was always thrilled to see Jessica, and she always came back tired, happy, and healthy. I couldn’t ask for more.”

“Renald is so polite, caring, and attentive. Renald really enjoys boarding dogs it’s in his genes. My dog looked in great shape when I picked him up, and he even said good-bye to Renald with a wagging tail..it was so sweet! I will definitely be booking Renald services for boarding in the future.”

“Kierstan & Casey were incredible pet sitters and took care of our pup for 3 nights. They sent tons of photos, provided videos of zoomies, and made us feel at ease knowing that our pup was in good hands. Would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to find an overnight sitter!”

“Anastasia did a wonderful job of taking care of my dog, mocha. Every picture she sent had mocha looking very comfy, and very happy! She was great at keeping me updated and was amazing when my travel plans changed last minute and I had to pick mocha up later than scheduled. She was very accommodating and helpful in that regard. I know mocha had a great time staying with Anastasia and we will definitely use her again in the future!!!”

“Lal, Matt & Hank were great! My doggy boys stayed with them for a week while we were travelling out of state and they looked like they were having a nice little doggy vacation themselves with their new found friends. Lal would keep us updated with how our boys were doing by also posting pictures and videos along with the texts and e-mails. Lal really took the time to get to know the boys well specially during their meet and greet. Plus the fact that their LabraDoodle, Hank got along very well with the boys made me really feel at ease. I would definitely pick them again for our upcoming travels. So happy to know that my doggy boys were in good hands while we were away. Highly recommended.”

“We boarded our dog with Dominique, and she was fantastic. She took great care of our dog while we were out of town, and sent us daily photos, videos and updates. She was easy to talk to, professional, and communicative. We absolutely recommend her and will definitely ask Dominique to watch our dog next time we are out of town.”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with Shirley for the weekend. He has separation anxiety and she was accommodating towards his needs to ensure he had a stress free stay with her. I appreciate how she was flexible with my drop off and pick up times. Would definitely hire her again!”

“We picked up our large malamute Junie and she was the calmest we had seen her, clearly very happy. Communication with Anton was very easy and he sent several pictures throughout the stay. Will book again!”

“Each time we leave Nutmeg in Euitae’s hands we know she will receive the best care and love. She loves staying there and her walks in the park, and we love the photos, communication and updates.”

“Joshua was an amazing cat sitter. He communicated proactively and sent us pics pretty regularly. Our two kittens looked completely at home and comfortable with Joshua. A 100% recommend and we’d use him again.”

“Peggy and Anthony were amazing! They were exceptionally accommodating and thoughtfully meticulous with caring for our pup. They gave the most incredible updates - in frequency and quality - that made us feel our pup was happy, healthy, and loved! Being away from our pup is extremely difficult, but they made the entire process feel safe and smooth.”

“Jennifer and her family made Frost feel at home while we were away for the holidays. She provided pictures, updates, and feedback. I will definitely keep Jennifer and her family in mind for future bookings!”

“Cooper has stayed with Nicole twice so far and the second time I bought him to her house, he ran inside. She seems to be very attentive and is incredibly responsive. We’ll definitely be staying here again! Thank you for the awesome experience for my dogs first boarding.”

“Ashley was so amazing - she went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were cared for (especially when my little pup was having stomach issues unexpectedly). Nothing phased her and she was super communicative along the way. Can’t recommend her enough. Trust her 100%!”

“Sam was amazing! We had never left Penelope with any sitter and Sam made us feel very comfortable and confident. She sent us pictures as well which made us feel at ease. We definitely plan to have Penelope stay with Sam again in the future. Thank you, Sam!”

“Steven took my dog at the last minute before a 5 day trip and did a great job taking care of him. Drop off and pick up were easy and he sent pictures frequently so I knew my dog was ok. I would use him again!”

“Christian was super responsive and available to a last minute request to care for my Lupita, who immediately connected with him. Christian took great care of Lupita, provided updates and pictures, and welcomed her to a complete home. Highly recommend him!”
