I don’t have pets of my own, which means no territorial issues, no competing for food or attention, and no risk of picking up something from another animal. I’m comfortable using crates, baby gates, or leashes if that’s part of your pet’s routine, and I always check in with you before making any changes.

About: I've cared for both dogs and cats my whole life-- I've never lived without a pet! I also have experience as a volunteer caretaker through my local animal shelter, and a deep passion for animal welfare and happiness. I work part-time and am a part-time student, so please check my calendar for availability. I have class from 4-9pm Tuesday & Wednesday and my work schedule is typically the day shift on Monday and Thursday. Again, if there are any deviances, I will mark them on the calendar! I'm happy to let your pet set the pace-- if they're a cuddle bug, I'll give them snuggles, and if they need some time to warm up, I'll sit quietly while they get used to me. If your puppy feels the need for speed, I'll take him on a sprightly jog, but if your senior prefers to take the scenic route, we can stop and sniff every tree. I'll listen to your instructions and preferences and theirs.

I'm starting law school in August, so this summer I'm wide open and looking to spend as much time outside as possible — your dog is the perfect excuse. Once classes begin, walking dogs is honestly my ideal way to decompress between sessions. Whether it's a long summer morning walk or a midday break from studying, I'll always show up ready to go. I don't offer in-home sitting, but safety on the walk is something I take seriously. If we pass another dog, I always move to the side, cross the street, or pick up smaller dogs if needed — whatever keeps your pup comfortable and out of a situation they didn't ask for.
