“Sylvia is a very responsible cat sitter. This is already the second time I've used her services. My cat is quite old, but she takes great care of her. She even brought the packages from the doorstep into the house. She is definitely my favorite cat sitter.”

“Jessica is awesome. She's very responsible and diligent. We've never had a vacation with a drop-in sitter before and she's relieved all of my concerns. She answered all my questions during the meet and greet, followed instructions perfectly, and sent me daily photos. My cat was happy and healthy when we returned. Highly recommended!! A+++”

“Antoinette was wonderful. She stayed in communication with me while I was away and went above and beyond to make sure my cats were fed, happy and comfortable. I would absolutely use her again !”

About: I’ve had my dog from 4 weeks to now 11 years old! I’ve always loved dogs and dogsit a ton for family’s and friend’s dogs! I’m also a therapist professionally but looking to enjoy the summer a bit more with extra furry friends! I work from home and have 15 min breaks from work every hour. I also have control over my schedules. As for walking dogs I am always looking a reason to walk and exercise! I have a backyard for pups to run around. I also have a workable schedule that allows me 15 min every hour for the pups to check in on them and refill water and refill on attention! My favorite form of exercise is walking dogs! Otherwise, I’m forever looking for ways to do cardio.
About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs for friends and family — as well as my own fur babies: a bichon poodle, a tabby, and a grey and white cat. I love animals and ensuring they feel safe and loved. I am currently working from home and have flexibility to walk your precious dog(s) to keep them happy and healthy. I am also available on weekends and will need at least 1 days notice for last minute walks or cancellations. Preferred locations: Queens, Long Island and Manhattan. I strongly believe in safety protocols when it comes to protecting the wellbeing of animals. That being said, I am always alert when dog walking and make note of behavior and interactions to ensure their safety. I am patient and compassionate when it comes to different behaviors such as anxiety, hyperactivity, aggression, and a strong sense of independence.

“Angelica is the sweetest human being - I am so blessed to have found her to watch my little Juniper! I feel like she is a part of my family because of how caring and attentive she is. She is so patient and understanding, and it is so clear how much love she has for all animals. Juniper absolutely loves seeing Angelica, and I wouldn’t trust her to stay with anyone else! About: Hi, I'm Maria! I adore dogs and cats! I've been walking and sitting dogs for over 13 years and a professional pet photographer for 8 years. I grew up with lots of cats and dogs, and I volunteered at an animal hospital while in college. Today, I have a friendly female creme Shiba Inu, Lula. I offer 1/2-hour or full-hour dog walks and pets sitting in the Whitestone and Beechhurst areas of Queens. I will take your puppy to the park for a stroll, a dog park or just around your area - whatever you prefer. Dogs in my trust for walks are NEVER left alone or unsupervised. I always "clean up" after dogs in my care and keep them on the leash unless, with your permission, we go to a secure fenced dog park. Whatever your instructions I will make sure they are followed exactly as you request. I'm a punctual, responsible, and respectful person who loves dogs. I will take good care of your puppy as if they were my own. I will make sure they feel comfortable and receive plenty of attention and affection during their stay with me! As a lifelong owner of dogs and cats, providing a consistent schedule of daily care, feeding, walks, and affection comes naturally to me and my schedule. I provide care, feeding, clean up and affection as instructed. I'm also happy to follow any other instructions that may be specific to each pet.

I call all doggies, puppies (regardless if they're young and old) I grew up with Cocker Spaniels and my husband with a Mini Pinscher. We currently do not have any dogs at home Potty time for your pup is whenever the pup needs, we have a fenced backyard where they can go at any minute of the day, in addition to the daily walks around the neighborhood. I would love to have the opportunity to watch these little ones. I have used Rover.com in the past ,and had a great experience. This was prior to my little Spaniel girl Kiki passing away at the age of 13 due to a uterus infection :( So looking to give the same love that she received from her sitter to another puppy. I will keep you posted throughout the day with pictures and videos so you have a peace of mind that your pup is in good care and happy. I am more than happy to meet with you and your pooch before you confirm my sitter services to make sure your pup feels comfortable and vice versa.

Whitestone pet parents share their Rover experiences
Charlie did a really good job with Cato. He was eager to take notes during our first meeting, and double checked most details I provided to ensure he provided the best care for Cato. His communication was very strong, especially when Cato ate something she shouldn’t have. If you need a sitter, I’d do it!
Katie was a super great cat sitter! She is very open with communicating, asks thorough questions, takes directions well, helps with minor miscellaneous household problems that pop up, and takes really cute photos of your cat. I left my cat for vacation for 2 weeks and was so anxious it would go badly, but with Katie my cat stayed a happy boy the entire time.

Shibo was absolutely amazing! I have two male cats, and one of them I had just adopted 10 days before leaving for my trip. He was very skittish when I first got him, but he warmed up to Shibo right away. My other cat took a liking to him immediately as well—who wouldn’t! Shibo was so wonderful, giving my cats the attention they needed while I was away. In the past, I relied on neighbors and people just stopping by to feed and check on them, but my experience with Shibo has completely changed my perspective. It is worth every penny to have someone as great as him looking after your fur babies! When I returned, I could see the difference in my fluffy companions in the best way as this is very early in their introduction phase. I had peace of mind knowing they were well cared for. Shibo provided fantastic updates and beautiful photos, making it clear that my cats had a wonderful time with their new friend. I have full trust in Shibo as I also came home to find everything exactly as I expected. I highly recommend Shibo for anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter! Especially cats.

Jungmin was very responsive and kind for check-in visits for my cat! She sent plenty of photos and kept him well fed and cleaned up after him (he's quite messy) . We met up before I left and she was very attentive and made sure all was in order for her visits. Thank you very much, Jungmin!
