About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 5 years, including my family dog and family friends’. I love going on walks, bathing, and feeding dogs. I know some tricks to give them medicine if needed. I’m working part-time on Saturdays, so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to your fur baby throughout the week. I don’t have any time restraints, so feel free to rely on me. I know how to crate dogs, regardless of age, and have a lot of patience since I’ve babysat toddlers before too. I know not all dogs are the same and wait for them to approach first unless there’s an emergency.

About: I was previously in a internship program about animals specifically dogs for a whole summer. Picking up after them and feeding them. It was about 28 dogs on the busiest days and the minimum was about 10 so I got to know very different and unique dogs. As of now I am open and available to watch any furry animals like cats or dogs for as long as I am required too. I have a very nice and playful dog myself that loves the company of other animals. She loves making friends and is gentle with smaller animals.

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was little. My family and friends have always trusted me to take care of their pets such as walking, feeding, bathing, and playing with them. I always take their safety very seriously when I am caring for them because I have a deep love for animals. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I'm available weekends and weekdays so I can drop in any day as long as you tell me beforehand. I am able to care for pets in my own home if they are hypoallergenic, however when pet sitting in someone's home, I can create the same environment that the owner creates for their fur baby, making sure their pet is secured and safe and comfortable at all times.

About: I've cared for both dogs and cats my whole life-- I've never lived without a pet! I also have experience as a volunteer caretaker through my local animal shelter, and a deep passion for animal welfare and happiness. I work part-time and am a part-time student, so please check my calendar for availability. I have class from 4-9pm Tuesday & Wednesday and my work schedule is typically the day shift on Monday and Thursday. Again, if there are any deviances, I will mark them on the calendar! I'm happy to let your pet set the pace-- if they're a cuddle bug, I'll give them snuggles, and if they need some time to warm up, I'll sit quietly while they get used to me. If your puppy feels the need for speed, I'll take him on a sprightly jog, but if your senior prefers to take the scenic route, we can stop and sniff every tree. I'll listen to your instructions and preferences and theirs.

About: I have experience taking care of my own cat and dog. I am used to the daily routines of a pet, such as feeding, cleaning, play and company. I am a responsible, patient and careful person. I like to follow the instructions of each owner to respect the schedules, habits and needs of each pet. I also feel comfortable walking friendly dogs and making home visits to feed them, accompany them and make sure they are well. I have flexible availability during the week and on weekends. I can organize my schedule for walks and home visits, and I like to dedicate enough time to each pet so that it feels accompanied and well taken care of. I always carefully follow the instructions of each owner and respect the routine of each pet. I make sure they have water, food, walks and company, and I maintain constant communication with photos and updates during the service.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 10 years and absolutely love spending time with them. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and plenty of attention while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving you peace of mind. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am home most of the day, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I’m available for walks, playtime, feeding, bathroom breaks, and companionship, and I can be flexible with different routines and schedules. I really enjoy having animals around, so caring for pets naturally fits into my daily routine. In my home, I have two levels that allow me to comfortably accommodate pets with different needs. If a pet needs their own space or would prefer to be separated from other animals, I can provide a separate area for them. If they are comfortable around other pets and enjoy companionship, I can also allow them to spend time with my pets under supervision. I’ll always prioritize each pet’s comfort, safety, and individual routine.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and my family for almost 15 years. I also work for a dog walking/ sitting company throughout college! I am currently working part-time. I have a lot of extra time on my hands help you with your your furry friend! I can walk them or check in on them whenever you need! I always make sure our furry friend is secured in their leash or harness. I also have a backyard if they decide to join me and my golden retriever, Zelda, at our house!

About: I have owned animals my whole life and cared for them. I attended an animal science program for two years where I cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. My duties included walking, feeding, bathing, nail and fur trimming, and cleaning kennels. I have also pet sat for friends and family for 4 years taking care of both cats and dogs. I am currently a full time student but I do a mix of in person and virtual classes and take a light course load so I have plenty of time to fit pet care into my schedule. I can easily crate pets if needed, I am good at calming down animals in distress. I can also administer medication and follow special diets as needed.

About: I have grown up around dogs as well as owned my own dogs for many years. I am well versed in walking, feeding, bathing, and simple grooming techniques. Currently, I work at a vet clinic where we have patients of all shapes and sizes, and I also spent two years being a puppy sitter for Seeing Eye puppies in training. Due to those two years, I have experience with puppies as young as 7 weeks old, and can confidently assist with basic obedience training where needed. I also have experience with larger breeds like Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and German Shepherds. My schedule changes weekly, however, I am almost always available for at least 4 days of the week! I also have extracurriculars but those are flexible and can be worked around. I always make sure to double check the fit of harnesses/collars to ensure the safety of pets on a walk. I am capable of putting an animal back in a crate if necessary as well.

About: I’ve loved and enjoyed taking care of dogs all my life - from my own to friends’ and family’s pets as well as clients. I understand what it’s like to have a vacation planned or a commitment and want to ensure that your furbaby is happy and well taken care of while you’re gone, and my commitment is to do just that. I’ve done everything from walking to boarding in my home to bathing and simple drop-ins for some play time, cuddles, and treats. I’m currently working part time from home on my own schedule, so my availability is very flexible and I’m happy to work with you to accommodate to your needs. I have a secure apartment with tile flooring - while I don’t have a yard I am happy to walk your dog as often as you feel comfortable with and have ample room for playtime. I allow dogs on furniture and use a clean cover for them to rest on if they’d like to lounge on the couch. I am also communicative and happy to text regular updates and pictures as often as you would like.

About: Hello pet parents! Do we like that term? It's either that or owners, which feels worse! I'm Reena, a single woman in my late 30s from Melbourne, Australia. I'm also a journalist with a love for writing about movies and TV (which I do part-time). I've come to Rover from Trusted Housesitters, where I netted five-star reviews and some lovely new furry pals. I enjoy petsitting because I genuinely feel a sense of connection and empathy towards cats and dogs. Even if I walk a dog just one time, I'll go out of my way to make sure they feel safe and loved. I’ve been sitting cats and dogs for about 3 years, both in Melbourne and NYC. Oh, and I do especially well with anxious cats. I’ve been told that so have the type of tranquil energy that keeps them comfortable and at ease. I’ve also administered a variety of medicines to animals, including stomach meds hidden inside a pill pocket, liquid antibiotics measured via a syringe, and blood pressure meds. I also recently administered daily ringworm medication to an older cat: his lesions resolved completely under my care, which was great. I also love looking after dogs and in particular have cared for many poodle mixes. 🐩 I love taking them on walks (I can walk two at a time) and paying visits to the dog park, regardless of if you have a high-energy dog with a fetch addiction or a more low-key fellow who prefers to saunter and sniff. I’ve also looked after puppies and trained them on basic drills and commands. Many treats were provided in exchange for their sacrifice, and cute faces, of course! I promise: your pets are 100% my priority. I’m not the type of sitter who will leave your fur children on their own for long stretches of time. I will be there for your pets so that they know they’re safe and loved! About my routine: I’m presently a journalist doing casual weekend work, but that work is done from home. At other times, I’m pitching and/or job hunting. This means I have a ton of time to spend with your babies, which is especially useful if your pets get separation anxiety. I love to play with animals and will make sure they’re getting balanced days, filled with play, pats, rest, relaxation, grooming, and of course, their daily food and water! I love sitting for pets in their own homes, as I find that animals, especially cats, are happier and more open to new people while safety situated in the environment that they know and love. This also saves you the hassle of having to transport your pets elsewhere: I will come to you!
