About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from a sweet senior dog to a playful German Spitz puppy. I can help with walks, feeding, training, and plenty of love and attention. Whether your dog is full of energy or enjoys a calm, cozy day, Iâll make sure they feel cared for like part of my family. Since I am currently actively job searching, I have flexible availability Monday through Friday to care for your pets. I can dedicate my days to feeding, walking, playing, and giving your animals all the attention they need, ensuring they feel happy, safe, and loved while youâre away. I prioritize the safety and well-being of every pet in my care, following all feeding instructions, supervising playtime, and ensuring pets are secure at all times. I treat each animal as if they were my own, giving them patience, respect, and plenty of love, while keeping owners informed with honest updates. I also create a comfortable and calm environment, making sure pets feel happy, relaxed, and at home whether they are energetic dogs or quiet senior cats.

About: Feathers, Fur, and Everything In Between Hey there! Iâm Joanne, and Iâve spent my entire life surrounded by animals. My Experience: * Bird Mom: Iâve owned exotic birds for 15 years. * Vet Assistant Perks: I spent time working in a vet clinic, so I have experience working with cats and dogs. I know what to look for to make sure everyone is healthy and safe. * Shelter Volunteer : Iâve spent plenty of time volunteering at shelters, which means Iâm great with small animals and exotics. My Philosophy: Whether Iâm hanging out with your cat, walking your dog, or making sure your bird is chirping, I treat your pets like theyâre my own family. Youâll get plenty of photos and updates so you know theyâre having a good time while youâre away. Bottom line: Your petâs comfort is my #1 priority. Letâs chat and see if Iâm the right fit for your family ! By day, Iâm working at the hospital, but in my off-hours, Iâm all about the animals. Since my work life is all about care and attention to detail, I bring that same energy to looking after your pets during my free time. Iâve spent 15 years keeping exotic birds, and I currently have two budgies of my own. They get flight time, fresh water, and a spread of fresh veggies every single dayâand I bring that same "spoiled and healthy" standard to every pet I watch. Whether you have a dog, a cat, or a feathered friend, Iâll make sure your pet gets the same experience. I make it my mission to ensure every pet in my care gets the exercise they need and their meals exactly how they like them.
âCynthia was incredible and did so much to help my anxious kitties to feel safe and happy while I was away! She sent detailed updates with photos that made me feel at ease so I could enjoy my trip. đ She is incredible and I will definitely be contacting her in the future for pet sitting services!â

âThis was the first time that Michelle dropped in on Cuddles. She gave her food, water and a clean litter box. Cuddles is not a friendly cat and seems very happy that Michelle was there to provide for her. I would definitely ask Michelle to care for Cuddles again.â

About: Hello! My name is Julissa. I have so much love for all pets and animals. Growing up, iâve always had a dog in the house, and they were always such an important member of our family. Itâs been about five years since Iâve had a dog of my own. My last dogâs name was Sasha. We adopted her when she was six and had her until she was about thirteen. She was so smart, loving, and anxious when we first got her so our first few years together were spent establishing trust. Eventually we managed to off-leash train and we worked a lot on her recall so that we could enjoy longer walks and outdoor activities while ensuring that she always felt safe in her environment. At home we set her bed up in the kitchen, where we would pass our time cooking and spending a lot of quality time together. I had so many good years with my Sasha, and since she passed I have genuinely missed spending time with animals on a consistent basis. Since then, most if not all of my friends and family have entrusted me with taking care of their animals when they are busy or traveling, so Iâve had a lot of experience with many different pets and their varying needs/personalities. I work freelance as an artist. I am a musician, so I often stay at home practicing or composing. However most of my work is in the film industry, and this work ranges from smaller independent projects to network television. Although I do work on set sometimes, I try to take on as many post-production gigs as possible, so I often find myself sitting behind a desk all day. I have always made it a priority to work in a field that I am passionate about, and my decision to work with Rover has been no different. Caring for animals is not only something I am passionate about, but also a wonderful opportunity to go on walks and spend quality time with pets. I will always be very clear about any changes in my work schedule if those are to arise, but my reliability and dedication never wavers I have a fenced in yard and plenty of spaces in the house for your pet to wander and feel comfortable. I am also very trust worthy, organized, communicative, and extremely eager to work with you!
About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets and understand how important it is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Iâm attentive to routines, including feeding, litter changes, walks, playtime, and companionship. Iâm patient with shy or anxious pets and always make sure they receive the care, attention, and respect they deserve. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize their safety I am currently working a part time job. Iâve got a pretty open schedule. Iâd like to ease into a pet care career, therefore this is a great opportunity for me We have a big yard with a fence at my house. And lots of room to sniff and play My mom and aunt is also home a lot and they help out
âSamantha and Jerry were fantastic. Zara, our cat, was happy and well cared for when we came home. We got great pictures of her being brushed, eating, and drinking throughout their visits. Would 100% recommend.â

âExcellent care and communication for my elderly cat who needs multiple medications. Thank you for helping me feel comfortable and secure while I was away for thanksgivingâ
âJason was very responsive, communicative and punctual. He treated our pets like his own, and spent plenty of time engaging with them and keeping them company, which was very appreciated. I would highly recommend hiring Jason to take care of your pets whenever you need a sitter.â

About: I have been a petsitter for about two years now but I have had my own pets and have helped neighbors, family, and friends since I was 10. I am comfortable with all sizes and breeds and i have experience with senior dogs, one of which needed insulin shots. Additionally, I helped to train a neighbors puppy some of the basics like sit, stay, spin, lie down, and to walk on a leash. I am currently a student and I attend class Monday-Thursday but I am free from Friday-Sunday at all times. When my schedule is updated for the upcoming semester I will add that here but for now I am available until classes start. When they do begin, I will be able to provide early morning walks, afternoon visits, and evening/nighttime walks where I have gaps. I am very respectful of you and your pets space and home. Your pet will be cared for diligently and I am able to provide any accommodations or follow your instructions for your pet to ensure their happiness, health, and safety

âStacie is a Godsend! We had the opportunity to take a trip to Costa Rica with just 48 hours notice. We were incredibly lucky to find Stacie: We would never have gone abroad unless we found someone great. Stacie provided us with two references, both of whom were thrilled to report she did a fantastic job with their pets: They said she was always on time, posted lots of photos and was incredibly respectful of being inside their homes when no one was around. That was actually my primary concern about hiring someone I did not know: Itâs pretty difficult to leave your house keys with a stranger. But Stacie was wonderful. She was incredibly responsible. We took this trip just a few days ago (mid-January 2022) when the city was pounded with a terrible snowstorm. Despite the awful weather, Stacie kept her appointment: She told us in advance that she might be an hour or so late because the blizzard left the roads unnavigable. But, clearly, she made it a priority to check on our two beloved Birman cats: She came just a couple of hours later. Iâm sure that was difficult considering the weather, but we truly appreciated it. We knew the cats would be OK in Stacieâs care. And they clearly grew to love her. We are incredibly grateful to have found her.â

Douglastown-Little Neck pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sheryn was dependable and made sure to stop by every day to check on my cats while I was away, which gave me peace of mind. She was consistent with her visits and clearly cared about making sure they were okay. I appreciated her reliability and the effort she put into being there daily. Thank you, Sheryn, for helping look after my cats.

Shirley has establish a great rapport with my 2 cats. Both of my 2 cats enjoy playing hide and seek. For the first time , my youngest was waiting for Shirley on the windowsill. Shirley has the patience to coax them out hiding. If they could both talk it would be "we want Shirley as our sitter so Mom and Dad you can both relax and enjoy without any worries." 5 STARS and I agree!!!

Jessica is an excellent caretaker of our cat Aden. Helped us with drop in visits for 3 days, coming punctually and playing with our cat how we would if we were there. Aden took to her very fondly and trusted her right away ! If you want a trust worthy pet taker book Jessica for your pets :)
