I cared for my beloved senior dog Rocki for 14 years, supporting him through every stage of life, including the extra patience, gentleness, and attentiveness senior dogs need. Today, I share my life with my dog River and also help care for my partner’s 16-year-old senior dog, so I am very comfortable with senior care, slower mobility, routine-based needs, and gentle handling. I structure my days around consistent walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and calm rest periods for my own dog, River, as well as my partner’s senior dog. Because caring for animals is already part of my everyday routine, I’m able to provide dependable, attentive, and structured care for pets staying with me. In my home, pets are treated like family in a calm, safe, and loving environment. I follow each dog’s normal routine closely, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and plenty of rest and comfort. I pay close attention to body language, emotional needs, and stress signals to ensure every dog feels secure and relaxed. My home includes a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, cozy indoor rest areas, and close supervision throughout the day.
