About: I have 4 years of experience volunteering at an animal shelter where I worked with both dogs and cats. With dogs, I have experience with all ages, ranging from 5 week old puppies to senior dogs. I have walked and played with dogs who were the most outgoing and loving dogs, as well as the more fearful ones who needed a little extra attention before opening up to me. I have received training in understanding dog behaviors as well as how to interact with more stressed and fearful dogs, leaving me confident to care for all types of dogs. I also volunteered to take some dogs out of the shelter for one night and care for them at my apartment so they can destress out of their kennels, which gave me experience house sitting multiple types of dogs. With cats, often times at the shelter I would play with them in their cages, or I would take them out the cage and hold onto/pet them to help relieve their stress and get them accustomed to humans. At home I also have 2 senior pets I care for, a 12 year old Brittany dog and an 11 year old cat. They’re both incredibly sweet and remind me every day why I love caring for animals. Let me help take care of your furry family members—I’d love to meet them! I work as a teacher full time during the school year, so I have time after 5pm to care for your pets. However, during the summer I don't work full time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I am free anytime during the week for house sitting, dog walking, or just dropping in to visit your pet. When caring for a pet in a client's home, I will make sure to confirm all household rules that apply to their pet before starting. This includes knowing what furniture the pet can sit on, the diet of the pet, as well as how often the pet should be played with/taken out on walks.

Prior to this we had a meet and greet, she asked appropriate questions for Odin’s safety (vaccine status, allergies, intolerances, routine etc.) She is swift with her responses and provides pic. About: Grew up around cats and dogs, so I do know my way around them. I’m always the go to person for friends and family when they need help or dog sitting. I work full time, however that doesn’t stop me from coming home to my babies and have a play session before bed. Weekends are devoted solely to them and can never forget a brunch date without Dumbo. After an outdoor visit, there’s always a full paws and body wipe down to to ensure they are clean. It keeps both them and my home clean since my pets are allowed on every piece of furniture I own.

About: I had being around animals my entire life, and I consider pets as a part of the family. For me an animal is just like a person, most of them are like kids if you go out, bring water, snacks and toys for them. If your in the house they want attention and all the love that you can give them. Always have clean clean and fresh water, give them the food on time, play with them and always take care of them. Don’t leave them for long periods of time by themselves, and make sure they are healthy. Take them out at least two times at day and if it’s to cold outside put them the coat and the boots if it is necessary.

About: Most notably, I have worked for Dan's Pet Care as a dog walker in Manhasset for 6 months. I would walk dogs, sometimes feed them, give them water, give them medication, pick up and drop them off to and from the petcare center if asked to. To put it shortly, I have lots of experience with new dogs. I also used to work at The Allypond Environmental Center, along with owning pets throughout my life and still do to this day such as dogs, cats, birds, fish, and guinea pigs. I've also taken care of my and other family members dogs some who have had casts on a leg. I'm used to taking care of my pet bird everyday along with helping the stray cat who we have fed for months now, all the dogs I've ever owned sadly passed away but I've always took care of them. I have a secure home and a fenced yard with plenty of space, on top of that my neighborhood is fairly quiet with 3 nice parks nearby for good long walks.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life! Love every furry friend I see! Beyond responsible and great with every breed! Can’t wait for your best friend to become my best friend! (If you need help with training I’d be more than happy to help with that too). I’m patient, responsible, supportive, give tons of attention and care. I’m great with all ages and breeds! Live by myself in a nice neighborhood with lots of great areas to walk and play, lots of grass parks and very safe. My apartment is a large 2 bedroom on the 2nd floor of a 2 family house. I have a car as well if you need me to pickup and drop off. I mainly work from home and it’s extremely part time. You can basically say that I’m retired. I’m usually always available, my home is the perfect place for your dog! I have a fenced yard with plenty of grass. I live in a very safe and quiet neighborhood in NYC. I don’t have any pets at the moment, unfortunately my Shmoopy passed away of old age recently :(
