About: For the past 4 years, I have volunteered at an animal shelter where I worked with both dogs and cats. With dogs, I have experience with all ages, ranging from 5 week old puppies to senior dogs. I have walked and played with dogs who were the most outgoing and loving dogs, as well as the more fearful ones who needed a little extra attention before opening up to me. I have received training in understanding dog behaviors as well as how to interact with more stressed and fearful dogs, leaving me confident to care for all types of dogs. I also volunteered to take some dogs out of the shelter for one night and care for them at my apartment so they can destress out of their kennels, which gave me experience house sitting multiple types of dogs. With cats, often times at the shelter I would play with them in their cages, or I would take them out the cage and hold onto/pet them to help relieve their stress and get them accustomed to humans. At home I also have 2 senior pets I care for, a 12 year old Brittany dog and an 11 year old cat. They’re both incredibly sweet and remind me every day why I love caring for animals. Let me help take care of your furry family members—I’d love to meet them! I work as a teacher full time during the school year, so I have time after 4pm to care for your pets. However, during the summer I don't work full time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I am free anytime during the week for house sitting, dog walking, or just dropping in to visit your pet. When caring for a pet in a client's home, I will make sure to confirm all household rules that apply to their pet before starting. This includes knowing what furniture the pet can sit on, the diet of the pet, as well as how often the pet should be played with/taken out on walks.

She was extremely communicative with how Moana did during the day. Moana enjoyed her time with Juliana to the point the next day when we went outside she walked up to the car to go back. About: Most notably, I have worked for Dan's Pet Care as a dog walker in Manhasset for 6 months. I would walk dogs, sometimes feed them, give them water, give them medication, pick up and drop them off to and from the petcare center if asked to. To put it shortly, I have lots of experience with new dogs. I also used to work at The Allypond Environmental Center, along with owning pets throughout my life and still do to this day such as dogs, cats, birds, fish, and guinea pigs. I've also taken care of my and other family members dogs some who have had casts on a leg. I'm used to taking care of my pet bird everyday along with helping the stray cat who we have fed for months now, all the dogs I've ever owned sadly passed away but I've always took care of them. I have a secure home and a fenced yard with plenty of space, on top of that my neighborhood is fairly quiet with 3 nice parks nearby for good long walks.

Live by myself in a nice neighborhood with lots of great areas to walk and play, lots of grass parks and very safe. My apartment is a large 2 bedroom on the 2nd floor of a 2 family house. I have a car as well if you need me to pickup and drop off. I mainly work from home and it’s extremely part time. You can basically say that I’m retired. I’m usually always available, my home is the perfect place for your dog! I have a fenced yard with plenty of grass. I live in a very safe and quiet neighborhood in NYC. I don’t have any pets at the moment, unfortunately my Shmoopy passed away of old age recently :(

Athena was amazing and so reliable. I booked super last minute and she was extremely accommodating, fast responding, and kept me updated with pictures throughout Ozzy’s stay which gave me so much peace of mind. She even fed him homemade food and treats and truly cared for him like her own. I was completely at ease during my trip knowing Ozzy was in such good hands. We had an amazing experience with Nari & Ryan and couldn’t be more grateful! They were incredibly accommodating and helped us out on very short notice when we needed last minute doggy daycare. She kept us updated with plenty of photos and videos of our dog, Frankie, which gave us a peace of mind. Frankie was walked multiple times, and we especially loved seeing how gentle and caring Nari’s daughter was with him! It really added a personal, family oriented touch to the experience. When Frankie came home, he was relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. I needed a sitter last minute for my dog and managed to find Nina. She’s friendly and professional, She took amazing care of Ziggy,she kept me updated throughout the day and it was a really good match. From the very beginning, she took the time to come over and walk with me so she could fully understand his routine, temperament, and walking process. That extra effort made the transition seamless when I left her fully in control and responsible for his care. She handled everything with calm confidence and professionalism, and I felt completely comfortable trusting her. Communication was excellent throughout, including coordinating with my mom regarding Mr. President’s care and handling while I was away. It was clear she was attentive, patient, and genuinely invested in doing things the right way. I truly appreciated her reliability and care during this time.
I really love the experience. It was my first time in Rover. I was in NY as a tourist and I was so tense about letting my little one. But Safiya is so nice and gentle and kind that I just relaxed the time I put my eyes on her. Her doggo Kanie is a bunch of joy. He is energetic, funny and warm. Safiya updated me every time, texting and sending me photos. Coco was relaxed and interacting with Safiya. In the second day, Coco just lead me to Safiya's door, wagging her tail. If you want a safe and warm place to let your little doggy, Safiya is amazing.
It was my first time leaving blue in doggy daycare And he looks very happy. Looks like he’s been taken care of and he had a good time over there from the pictures that I see. I had a little hesitation, but I can see that there was no reason for me to hesitate. I will definitely keep using her for all my dog sitting needs.
Aileen was extremely responsive and kind. Loha was great at her place and took a good nap as well. He was very comfortable and we were also very comfortable as she greeted us so kindly. It was a very short notice, but she was extremely accommodating as well. We would definitely see her again.!
