“I hired Marlene shortly after adopting my rescue dog and she has been wonderful. She clearly cares about animals and is very gentle and caring with my dog, not only walking but helping with medication and being attentive to my dog's specific dietary/water needs. Communication is good, I get timely responses to messages or booking requests. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a kind and reliable dog walker.”
About: There has not been a year where a dog has not been present in my home. Since the day I was born until today, I’ve also had dogs, walked them, cared for them, and most importantly built great bonds with them! From small dogs to big dogs, from calm dogs to energetic dogs, I’ve loved them all. On top of the dogs, I’ve had rabbits, cats, hamsters, snakes, and birds so honestly the experience is definitely here. If you couldn’t tell, I definitely love animals and love hanging out and building strong bonds with all our furry friends. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and commonly foster dogs! As someone’s who is home a majority of the time, consistent walks are not a problem as well as enrichment and playtime for the dogs. I am generally very free to be able to watch over the lil furry guys! For dogs I foster, they are usually taught to be crate trained and house trained. I feed them two nourishing meals a day (not including treats!) and try to walk them every 3-4 hours! Of course, care changes when it comes to dogsitting and adapting to their dog’s needs.
“Jessica walked Janie twice a day while we were out of town and Janie was staying with my mother. Jessica took pictures and sent detailed descriptions of how the walk went. My mom tells me Janie was always thrilled to see Jessica, and she always came back tired, happy, and healthy. I couldn’t ask for more.”

“Sylvia is great. She is so patient and nice to walk Lily. She spent time meet and greet Lily before the walk schedule day. We love her. We highly recommend her to other people.”

“Hemei has been great with my dog Kiara! She walks her a 3-4 times a week and is very responsive, professional, and communicative. She is very flexible with her schedule which is amazing since my week to week work schedule sometime varies. Hemei made the extra trek for a meet and greet before starting so that I could rest assured that my dog would be comfortable with her. She is reliable and a true dog lover and you know she will look after your fur baby as her own. Highly recommend her!”

About: I had my own dog at the age 8 a pit bull mastiff who sadly passed away but in 2021 I got my dog pooka because someone wasn’t treating her right they were gunna put her down but I took her in and I also took care of 2 pitbulls American staffy and American pit bull it was the best experience I love taking all of them to the park so they can run and get out all that energy I don’t work currently so it would be very beneficial for me because I have a son who goes to school in the area I love the pups I see them all the time on my walks I would rather go to the pets home where they are comfortable so they won’t be so scared in a different environment and around new people
“It’s was such a blessing to have Cynthia walk our furry baby Aria during our 17 day trip overseas. She showed to be responsible, reliable and very loving with Aria. She sent me daily pics and documented every walk. It was such a joy to hear daily from their walks. Aria adores her and will keep coming back for more and more walks in the near future. Thank you so much Cynthia! Aria adores and misses you!”

About: I want to make sure every kitty feels safe and comfortable, whether it’s a quick visit or an overnight stay. I respect their space and boundaries, and I’ll let them come out of their shell at their own pace. I also want the owners to feel safe when you leave your cats with me. I’ll send as much updates as possible! I’m surrounded by dogs all the time — most of my friends have pups, and I’m always the one volunteering to walk them! I love getting outside, going for walks, and spending time with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Whether your dog loves long walks, quick potty breaks, or just some fresh air and company, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for every time we’re out together. 🦮💛 I work just a few hours in the morning and am free the rest of the day. That means I have plenty of time to give your cat the care, attention, and playtime they need! Your cat’s safety and comfort always come first with me. I know how sensitive and particular cats can be, so I take things at their pace and make sure they always feel safe, loved, and respected. I keep everything clean and cozy — from the litter box to their favorite nap spots — so your cat has a fresh, comfortable space to relax in. If you have any special feeding routines or instructions, I’ll follow them closely to keep your cat’s routine consistent and stress-free. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease while you’re away, knowing your cat is happy, cared for, and getting lots of love and attention.
About: ***LOCATED IN BAYSIDE,QUEENS*** Hi there! I love all fur babies and welcome them with open arms. I’m a firm believer that while small moments with our pets may seem minuscule to us, they are everything to them— so let’s make it count! I grew up with a cocker spaniel and recently lost my rescue pup to cancer. Due to her long treatment regimen, I feel comfortable administering oral medications. She was a jack russell mixed with a dachshund so you know training was a handful! She suffered from some separation anxiety that we trained through so I have experience with this challenge (pandemic puppies am I right?) But we still had the best time. We explored parks, she sniffed the fun smells of NY, we snuggled on the couch and played fetch every evening. Whatever your pet is into, I’m up for! I work remotely in a dog-friendly building. My job is very flexible when it comes to hours so I can do my best to accommodate nearly every reasonable scenario depending on my meeting times for that given day. However, please no bookings after 7:30pm. In terms of supplies, I do ask pawrents to please bring any necessary food, crates, toys, meds, blankets, etc. I prefer to not cross-contaminate supplies for the health and safety of all pets. All feeding times/walking schedules will be up to the discretion of the pawrent— you know your pet best! I also have pee-pads available for those puppers who are not yet fully potty trained. Lastly, my home layout is quite pet friendly. I keep bedroom and bathroom doors closed since they are out of my line of sight when I work and the kitchen/living room is an open concept. For smaller pets, I can gate away a certain area if pawrents prefer.

Since I am self-employed, I can offer flexible care. I’m available Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm (Wednesdays after 2pm), plus some evenings and weekends if needed. Happy to work around your pup’s needs. Safety, comfort, and fun are my top priorities! I always want to make sure every pup feels loved and secured. I maintain clear communication with owners at all times!
About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs for friends and family — as well as my own fur babies: a bichon poodle, a tabby, and a grey and white cat. I love animals and ensuring they feel safe and loved. I am currently working from home and have flexibility to walk your precious dog(s) to keep them happy and healthy. I am also available on weekends and will need at least 1 days notice for last minute walks or cancellations. Preferred locations: Queens, Long Island and Manhattan. I strongly believe in safety protocols when it comes to protecting the wellbeing of animals. That being said, I am always alert when dog walking and make note of behavior and interactions to ensure their safety. I am patient and compassionate when it comes to different behaviors such as anxiety, hyperactivity, aggression, and a strong sense of independence.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from a sweet senior dog to a playful German Spitz puppy. I can help with walks, feeding, training, and plenty of love and attention. Whether your dog is full of energy or enjoys a calm, cozy day, I’ll make sure they feel cared for like part of my family. Since I am currently actively job searching, I have flexible availability Monday through Friday to care for your pets. I can dedicate my days to feeding, walking, playing, and giving your animals all the attention they need, ensuring they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I prioritize the safety and well-being of every pet in my care, following all feeding instructions, supervising playtime, and ensuring pets are secure at all times. I treat each animal as if they were my own, giving them patience, respect, and plenty of love, while keeping owners informed with honest updates. I also create a comfortable and calm environment, making sure pets feel happy, relaxed, and at home whether they are energetic dogs or quiet senior cats.

About: I have loved growing up with dogs my whole life! Not only have I had my own, but I have also loved taking care of my family’s, friends’, and neighbors’ dogs of all ages including puppies (as young as 10 weeks), adults, and senior dogs. I’m currently working part-time and would be honored to spend my free time playing with and watching over your dogs! My weekends vary due to work but I am available Mondays and majority of Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have a white Vinyl Privacy Fenced yard and all doors are always closed. I’m willing to take care of your pet however feels best for you whether that is if they prefer walks, go in the yard, or use wee-wee pads in the house. As long as they come with their leashes and anything else you feel is necessary to leave me with, that is what will be done! As I do share a puppy with my boyfriend, we do not live together and she does not live full time with me at my home. I live with 4 people which is my family and they are all very respectful and friendly with pets.

I’m comfortable crating dogs if needed, and I also offer in-home pet care.
Auburndale dog parents share their Rover experiences
Charlie was great with both Scott (cat) and Jamie (dog). He took great care of them while I was on vacation and they both loved him. Charlie did exactly what I had asked and he was never late. Great communication and lots of photos of my boys. I will definitely book again in the near future.

Diana is wonderful. When we first met her, she took the time to meet our dog Cagney before starting to walk him, gaining his confidence (Cagney is a "Velcro" dog who spends a lot of time at home with my husband) and assessing our dog's needs as well as ours. She is patient, kind and professional. She is punctual, and communicates regularly with us if any changes need to be made. She is a big help to us since we can't always walk Cagney. Cagney looks forward to seeing her and she updates us on his progress during his walks as he becomes more accustomed to being with her. Five stars and much thanks to Diana!

I can’t say enough good things about vivian she is reliable, caring, and truly treat my dog like family. I always feel at ease knowing my pup is in such loving and responsible hands. Communication is great, and I get updates that make my day. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind!

Ellison is a wonderful dog walker. She arrived early every single time she came to pick up my dog, which I truly appreciated. She gave Daisy a nice, long walk, and I was very pleased with the results. While I was away, Daisy was extremely happy and well cared for. Ellison is sweet, kind, and very attentive to details—especially important since Daisy can be quite picky. Overall, she is an absolutely fantastic person, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly

Nusta has been an incredible value add to our weeks and lives! Both my boyfriend and I are in office every day- and it has been so great to have Nusta to rely on. Patsy already warmed up to her so quickly- and gets so excited to see her. She is great at communicating and keeps me updated on every step of the walk. She is respectful, punctual, and kind. I’m so thankful for her addition to the week- it is definitely Patsy’s favorite part of the day!

She is a great dog walker/sitter! It was my first time to use this app and I and my dog Chopper were both nervous but I can tell she loves animals . During the walk she always tells me how he doing, did poo and pee and her efforts made me so comfortable and trusting her . Now my dog loves her and they are friends!! I’ll definitely repeat her for the future!

Really appreciate your service, would definitely rebook in the future , in the midst of a snow storm jonalynn came out to give my dog his walk, while keeping me updated when she’s running late and providing pictures of the dog walk. This is what you call reliability and I am greatful for your service.

Jiatong has been great with my dog! She walks her a few times a week and is very responsive and communicative. She made the extra trek for a meet and greet before starting so that I could rest assured that my dog would be comfortable with her. She is reliable and a true dog lover and you know she will look after your fur baby as her own. Highly recommend her!

Iris was so so amazing, she was super understanding towards my dogs personality since she’s more on the shy side, she was super sweet and made sure I was aware of everything that was going on. I felt so at ease having her come over to my place! Would definitely book her again and recommend her to everyone! ❤️

Mel has been walking my dog Henry for a while now! She is wonderfully communicative, and so patient with his many anxious moments. I’ve never had to have a dog walker until now, and am very thankful for my first experience being one of care and professionalism. Got lucky finding the best dog walker on Rover on the first try!
