About: Hello! I've had a deep love of dogs my entire life and was fortunate enough to have had two beautiful dogs over the past 25 years. I love to walk, play and lightly train dogs while they're in my care. I'm also developing healthy dog treats that I share with all the neighbor's dogs for their input (they love them!). I currently volunteer at PAWS NY, which helps humans & dogs, providing walks for the elderly or people that are disabled. I look forward to caring for your dog as my own. They are angels and deserve the best care! I am available to walk or sit dogs 7 days a week! I was recently job-eliminated, working for the past 35+ years in the publishing field, so now my main focus is on dogs, finally! I currently live in an apartment on the 2nd floor which is easily accessible to the outdoors. I also have access to a small fenced in yard in my 3-family home and access to a larger, unfenced yard next door, where my daughter lives. I love to walk and can walk for mile to the nearest large park in Whitestone or Bayside.

About: I love dogs and have had them my whole life. My dog Peanut, who’s in my profile picture with me, is my pride and joy, and I plan on taking care of him when I have my own home. My parents are out of town for work quite often, so I have cared for him on my own for extended periods of time, and I love spending time with him. I helped crate train him when he was younger as well, on top of other skills. I would love to help take care of others’ pets, and get to know everyone’s amazing animals! I’m a full time college student, and go to school on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, so I will definitely have weekday availability to anyone in the city who needs pet care. I’ll be mostly available in the afternoon, but I also have my hours available on my profile. I have one small-medium size, very friendly dog at home, and a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I would prefer to do visits in the clients home, because I do live with my family, however depending on the dog it may be possible.

“Awesome, caring, and communicated well.”

“Amanda is such a great dog walker! Not only is she dependable, but she is kind and patient. My dog was skeptical and did not want to walk with Amanda at first. Instead of giving up, Amanda took the time to play and have my dog get comfortable with her. Now my dog gets super excited any time Amanda is here for their walk. She’s really great and such a sweet person!”

“Very caring, takes pictures and provides updates :) our dog really liked him right off the bat! Ari made him feel comfortable even in the first meet up. Highly recommend”

“Super nice and easy to communicate! Reliable and look forward to working together more!”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life since my teenage years I've learned how to communicate and provide the care and attention a pet requires. Dogs can sense the affection and love that I have towards them. I'm currently a stay home dad. I'm very active and enjoy long walks. Being able to walk dogs gives me the opportunity to stay active and keep pets relaxed and stress free. Playing with my pet friends in my back yard is one of the biggest joys of my day. Having ample space in my home and backyard makes a great environment for my pet guest and pet friends. Playing time is always fun time

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently care for my own pup, Puffles, who’s been my best friend and biggest inspiration to start offering pet care to others. I’ve walked and cared for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, and love for getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I make it a point to tailor each walk or visit to your dog’s needs. Whether that means a high energy park adventure, or a quiet stroll through the neighborhood, My goal is simple, to keep your furry friends happy, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way! Hi, I'm Bianca, a full time college student and part time lifeguard and dog walker. I take pet care seriously both on and off duty, making sure every pup I walk gets dependable, loving attention. I typically have availability in the early mornings, late afternoons, and on weekends. I plan my walking schedule around my lifeguard shifts to make sure I’m fully present and reliable for each pup I care for. Whether it’s a walk before work, or an evening drop in, I always make time to give dogs the attention and care they deserve. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or taking them on a walk, safety is always my top priority. I never walk dogs off leash and always come prepared with extra supplies (poop bags, water, and treats). If I’m entering your home for a drop in, I treat it with respect and cleanliness, and I’ll always check in with a photo or quick update. You can count on me to keep your pup happy, healthy, and loved, like they’re one of my own.

About: I’ve taken care of many different pets from birds to large dogs all my life , I’ve owned dogs of my own since they were puppies as well and I currently have a dachshund puppy! I promise to take excellent care of you pet. I’m currently looking for this to be my full time job so I will have so much time to take care of your pets! Im available for boarding any day of the week except Saturdays and Sundays for now. I’m also available at any time ! I have a fenced yard completely secure plus I will be with ur pet the whole time if they go out to the yard. I can also easily crate your pet if needed. I do have a mini dachshund puppy currently in my house if your not comfortable with another dog there that can also be sorted out! There are no children under 12 in my household.

About: I'm a licensed veterinary technician I have been in animal care since I was little. I am trained to take care of animals of all ages as well as special needs. I work full time with my free days being Thursday and Sunday. I am available for works and drop in visits on my days off. Taking care of animals in a client' home involved being respectful that this is the pets space. So understanding how a pet feels most comfortable in their home.

About: I’ve had my dog for 6 years now. Since getting her I have taken care of her by feeding her, taking her on walks, spending time with her in general, and being the sole care taker when my family is away. I also worked at a pet supplies store for 9 months, only leaving to go to college. There I learned about what dogs and cats need in general as well as got experience interacting with the many different types of dogs when they entered the store. There I met a dog, Neo, who I got to know when I became there dog walker. It gave me experience in walking a dog and getting to know a dog that wasn’t my own. I’m excited at the prospect of working for you and your dog or cat. Animals are truly some of the best things the world has to offer and I promise to do my absolute best to take care of them! I will be at home for all of winter break, and my true passion of being an actress means that much of my work is self tape auditioning. Therefore, I will have a lot of free time during the week and weekend! The most important part is making sure the dog is safe, for me this means making sure the dog doesn’t have access to anything that could be harmful, as well as when taking the dog on walks having the harness fully on in the correct manner and being on the lookout for other dogs/cars/and anything else that could potentially cause danger. That being said it is also important that I care for the dog by spending time with them, giving them treats(based on the owner’s preference), and petting them.

“When my husband and I had to go away for a few days and couldn’t bring our 10 year old fur baby, I knew Malka was the one to call. She treats our Bailey like the princess she is. She takes her on walks, feeds her and snuggles with her on the couch. Our dog also takes medicine at night and Malka followed the directions. My dog howls of joy when she sees Malka. I highly recommend Malka as a dog walker, and/or sitter. She even takes the time to send photos and videos.”
