I never force dogs to interact if they need more time or personal space. Throughout the day, I provide regular potty breaks, supervised backyard time, playtime, and plenty of opportunities to relax comfortably indoors. I also try to follow each dog’s normal feeding, sleeping, and daily routine as closely as possible. Sleeping arrangements can be flexible based on the owner’s preference and the dog’s needs. For dogs who are more sensitive or feel more secure near people, I can arrange for them to sleep in the same room with me. After outdoor time, I clean the dogs’ paws to help keep them comfortable and maintain a clean living environment. I also pay attention to brushing and overall cleanliness throughout their stay. About: Most notably, I have worked for Dan's Pet Care as a dog walker in Manhasset for 6 months. I would walk dogs, sometimes feed them, give them water, give them medication, pick up and drop them off to and from the petcare center if asked to. To put it shortly, I have lots of experience with new dogs. About: I have 4 years of experience volunteering at an animal shelter where I worked with both dogs and cats. With dogs, I have experience with all ages, ranging from 5 week old puppies to senior dogs. I have walked and played with dogs who were the most outgoing and loving dogs, as well as the more fearful ones who needed a little extra attention before opening up to me. I have received training in understanding dog behaviors as well as how to interact with more stressed and fearful dogs, leaving me confident to care for all types of dogs. About: I had being around animals my entire life, and I consider pets as a part of the family. For me an animal is just like a person, most of them are like kids if you go out, bring water, snacks and toys for them. If your in the house they want attention and all the love that you can give them. Always have clean clean and fresh water, give them the food on time, play with them and always take care of them. Don’t leave them for long periods of time by themselves, and make sure they are healthy. Take them out at least two times at day and if it’s to cold outside put them the coat and the boots if it is necessary.

“I can’t believe I’m writing this review so late! I was traveling for a lot of August and I was able to come across Iona’s boarding services when a last minute trip change occurred. I met with her and her husband the day prior to drop off for a temperament test , which my social boy did well on. The next day I dropped him off and I really really appreciated the pictures posted and sent to me and the quick communication!! That was one of my biggest things, I really really appreciated that. So much so that I am currently about to book another boarding service haha: if your baby feels comfortable around other dogs and enjoys play, this will be like summer camp haha Thank you for your flexibility with airline issues and again just the reassurance and communication.
