“She is a great dog walker/sitter! It was my first time to use this app and I and my dog Chopper were both nervous but I can tell she loves animals . During the walk she always tells me how he doing, did poo and pee and her efforts made me so comfortable and trusting her . Now my dog loves her and they are friends!! I’ll definitely repeat her for the future!”

“Charlie was great with my foster puppy, Joey! He is very communicative and kept me informed about his arrival times for the two days I requested walks. My puppy got adopted, but I will be going back to Charlie when I get my next pup!”
“Hemei has been great with my dog Kiara! She walks her a 3-4 times a week and is very responsive, professional, and communicative. She is very flexible with her schedule which is amazing since my week to week work schedule sometime varies. Hemei made the extra trek for a meet and greet before starting so that I could rest assured that my dog would be comfortable with her. She is reliable and a true dog lover and you know she will look after your fur baby as her own. Highly recommend her!”

“It’s was such a blessing to have Cynthia walk our furry baby Aria during our 17 day trip overseas. She showed to be responsible, reliable and very loving with Aria. She sent me daily pics and documented every walk. It was such a joy to hear daily from their walks. Aria adores her and will keep coming back for more and more walks in the near future. Thank you so much Cynthia! Aria adores and misses you!”

About: The first dog that I fell in love with was Charlie, my best friend’s beagle. I cared for him for weeks at a time, and that’s when I realized how much I enjoy looking after dogs. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for several pets, both on and off the books, and each experience has made me love it even more. Although I’ve never owned a dog myself, I have a deep respect and appreciation for them. I understand the dedication, planning, and responsibility that goes into making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. As much as we wish we could bring our pets everywhere, sometimes the best choice is leaving them in a place where they feel at home. That’s the experience I aim to provide: reliable and thoughtful care that supports your pet’s comfort without requiring you to sacrifice your plans. I am currently unemployed and I live with my parents (who also love dogs), so there’s almost always someone home. I was working at Central Park for these last few months, but now that the season is over I can dedicate myself to working my dream job… along with finding a career that goes with my degree. I’ve cared for dogs both in my own home and in clients’ homes. Our quiet neighborhood has plenty of small parks and green spaces for quick walks or a good 30–35 minute wander. I also have a ground-floor apartment with a fenced backyard where dogs can roam, zoom, or take care of their business when a full walk isn’t ideal. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow whatever routine works best for their dog. I can stay overnight or visit in the mornings and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and light grooming. My priority is keeping each dog comfortable by sticking to the routine they know.
“Jessica has been caring for my dog Niko for several years. From the first meeting I was impressed with how she interacted with Niko and how quickly she put him at ease. He loves her and when I have to leave him knowing Jessica is there to care for him gives me incredible peace of mind! She is someone who really loves and understands animals and it shows in how happy and relaxed Niko is when I return home. You couldn’t ask for a better caretaker for your pet!”

About: I may be new to formal pet sitting, but I genuinely care about animals and enjoy spending quiet, gentle time with them. I follow instructions carefully, keep things tidy, and make sure pets feel respected, safe, and calm while their owners are away. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexible time during the day to care for pets. On weekdays, I can take pets for walks, feed them, and spend quality time playing and keeping them company. On weekends, I have even more free time to provide extra attention, longer walks, and cuddles. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine, and I enjoy making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I do not provide overnight boarding, but I am happy to visit your home to care for your pets or take them on walks. During visits or walks, I make sure pets are safe, follow any instructions you provide, and give them attention, playtime, and care. Your home will be respected and kept clean, and I aim to make your pets feel comfortable and happy. I am responsible, trustworthy, and will take good care of your furry friends while you’re away.
About: I had my own dog for 10 years and have taken care of many of my friends' and family's dogs and cats. I have experience with senior dogs and dogs of all sizes. I love all animals and have had hamsters, rabbits, and fish. I currently work from home so I have plenty of time to watch your fur baby. I also have a partner who works as a nurse, so he may be available in the rare cases that I am not. I do not have any other pets right now, and we have a fenced-in backyard for your dogs to run and play in. I also live 2 blocks from the park and love going on walks with dogs. We live in a quiet neighborhood. Pets are allowed on furniture and will get lots of cuddles and pets.
“Angelica has been our dog walker for about or even over two years now. I trust her fully with my furbaby and my dog loves seeing her so much! I’m very grateful to have found Angelica who loves and cares for all animals like they are her own.”

About: I’ve basically grown up in a house run by pets, I’ve had two dogs and three cats, so I’m very comfortable in a fur filled environment. Caring for animals has always been a part of my life, and my family shares the same love for them. I understand their routines, personalities, and little quirks, and I’m patient enough to handle both playful zoomies and quiet cuddle time. Your pets will be in caring, capable hands and probably a little spoiled too. Pet care fits really well into my routine these days. I used to work as a baby nurse, but now that my children are grown and working, I have a lot of free time during the week. I’d much rather spend that time with pets than sitting around, keeping them company, giving them attention, and making sure they feel happy and cared for. It’s a win-win… they get love and care, I get to enjoy some very cute company, and yes, my bills get paid too! 🐶 I care for pets like family, whether in my home or yours. I follow their routines, give plenty of attention and love, and make sure they feel happy, safe, and comfortable.
About: Hello! <3 I am a loving pet-sitter with 7 years of dog care and 2 years of cat care (and counting). While under my care, your pet will be loved on and paid the utmost attention to, and I adore pets with all their personalities and quirks. Whatever your pet needs, I’ll be there. I am a cat mom to a three-year-old tuxedo girl. She used to be quite sensitive and shy, so I’m very comfortable with adapting to the personality of your pet. I’d be more than happy just being in the presence of your cat and keeping them company during their care. My family has a seven-year-old Boston/Frenchie mix who has needed medical care in the past and present (sudden allergic reactions, eye surgeries, allergy shot administration, medicated ear cleanings, etc.), so I am familiar with the ins-and-outs of routine doggy care, on top of exciting walks around the park and lots of play time (and maybe a nap or two). All in all, I'll be able to adapt to whatever unique personality your pet has and care for them like my own. I absolutely adore animals and would love to extend that compassion to your baby as well, whether through check-ins, walks, or house-sits. I am currently a full-time college student with a very flexible class schedule (lots of gaps/days off), so I'll have plenty of time to play with, walk, and/or cuddle ur pup/kitty. I just need a day or more's notice! For dogs and cats, I let them lead the way for what makes them most comfortable. I'm more than happy to give your pet space and (supervised) solitude, or be a super hype play buddy! I am comfortable providing special care and/or medication to your pet if needed. I'm a very open and transparent communicator, and won't hesitate to ask questions. The same respect I have for your pets, I'll have for your home and space.
“We had a fantastic experience! Annye took wonderful care of our cat, Louis (9), and our dog, Hazel (7), with drop ins and walks over a week. Communication was excellent (we received consistent updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind). Both pets were happy and bonded quickly, which says a lot. Also went above and beyond to handle a few issues that came up, and did so with flexibility and care. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend!”

Flushing dog parents share their Rover experiences
We had a great experience with Julian watching Hazel, our Shih Tzu mix, and Louis, our Nebelung cat, for 10 days. He provided drop ins and walks and kept us updated throughout the trip with great communication and lots of photos, which we really appreciated. He was reliable and handled situations that came up during our time away, which gave us peace of mind. When we got home, both pets seemed happy, content, and very well cared for… Hazel even wanted to go with him when he returned our keys! Our home was also left pretty much exactly how we left it. We’re very thankful for the care he gave our pets and would absolutely book with him again.
Diego was amazing with my dog, Chai! He was super punctual and brought him back right on time after exactly an hour, which I really appreciated. He also kept me updated the whole time with pictures and messages, which made me feel so much more at ease while I was at work.

Janet is an outstanding dog walker! She bonded immediately with our two English Setters, and they happily anticipate her arrival when it is time for a walk to our nearby park. Janet sends us photos, videos, and updates throughout the walk. She keeps up a brisk pace but is sensitive enough to allow the girls to sniff when they wish, without them sneaking any inappropriate "snacks" that might be lingering on the path. Janet has an upbeat personality, and is always on time yet very flexible. We can’t recommend her highly enough!

Diana is wonderful. When we first met her, she took the time to meet our dog Cagney before starting to walk him, gaining his confidence (Cagney is a "Velcro" dog who spends a lot of time at home with my husband) and assessing our dog's needs as well as ours. She is patient, kind and professional. She is punctual, and communicates regularly with us if any changes need to be made. She is a big help to us since we can't always walk Cagney. Cagney looks forward to seeing her and she updates us on his progress during his walks as he becomes more accustomed to being with her. Five stars and much thanks to Diana!

Christina was great! Our dog can be a little stubborn, but she took the time to make sure Pizza went to the bathroom in rainy conditions (no easy feat!). She was great at communication, thorough in noting our directions, reliable, and our dog immediately seemed comfortable with her. Thanks, Christina!
