About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was five years old, helping relatives with their pets and caring for my two family dogs growing up. Even though I don’t currently have dogs, I’ve gained experience with puppies, adult dogs, high energy dogs, and seniors who need extra support. I always focus on creating a safe, loving, and calm environment for every dog in my care. I’m currently home for summer break from college, so I’m free any day of the week and can care for any dogs anytime! I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time and they will have my full attention as I don’t have any pets currently.

I grew up with my family dogs Daisy the Shih Tzu for 14 great years, and caring for her taught me everything from daily routines to understanding her weird little quirks that make each dog unique. I live in a clean, well‑organized 1‑bedroom apartment (about 500 sq ft), which creates a calm, controlled, and quiet environment that’s perfect for dogs who thrive on consistency and attention. My apartment is a short walk from multiple parks, so your dog will have plenty of space to play. The space is fully pet‑proofed and there is plenty of space for your dog’s bed/crate.

About: Several years ago, when a friend was going through a rough time in her life, I housed and took care of her dog for half a year, and that's when I realized I could do this! Since then, I've regularly taken care of other friends' pets on and off, and I would love to do the same for your pet too! This is my full-time job, which means you and your fur baby will get my full-time attention! Except for Thursdays which I reserve for community volunteer work, my schedule is very flexible, and I will do my best to accommodate you and your pet's needs. I live in a 1-bedroom apartment with no roommates! I also have 2 AC units to keep the space nice and cool during the hot summer months. Every few months, I also house my friend's pet, an American Eskimo dog who is very friendly and absolutely loves meeting other dogs! I live near several dog parks that are within 15 minutes' walk, so your fur babies will always have a chance to meet new friends and neighbors. I love taking care of dogs, whether at my home or at yours!

About: Hi! I'm Ameli, a lifelong cat lover and owner of two wonderful cats. I know every cat has a unique personality, whether they're playful, shy, or senior. During each drop-in visit I'll refresh food and water, clean the litter box, provide playtime and affection (if your cat enjoys it), and send detailed photo updates so you know they're doing well. I treat every cat as if they were my own and always respect each owner's routine and instructions. Pet care fits in my routine on days such as Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I can do as the owner says to efficiently take care of the pet. In my home, my cats are fed 2 times a day, with dry food left out all day which is also renewed everyday. They get brushed and wiped very often, and play time several times a day.

About: I grew up caring for many kinds of animals in Virginia, where my mom owns her own legal pet sitting business. I have a great amount of love for all animals, and because of that I have experience in obedience training, agility training, and caring for dogs with disabilities (I own a tripod!) I have always been able to earn the trust of fearful dogs, and have been used in many scenarios for that reason. So, if you own a frightful pup please do not worry! I moved to NY in June 2017 from Washington, DC to build an anti-human trafficking department at a family violence center. I have since transitioned out of this role, obtained my MSW from Columbia University, and now I am in anti-human trafficking research. About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, and caring for animals has always been a part of my life. Even after moving out for college, I continued providing independent and app-based pet care (and now have over 8 years of experience). I work from home, so your pet will always have company, attention, and plenty of love while they’re with me. 🐾 I have experience caring for puppies who need a little extra playtime, training, and patience, as well as dogs that require medication during their stay. I’m also careful and consistent about maintaining each dog’s diet to ensure comfort for pups with sensitive stomachs (mine included). 🦴 The dogs and I typically go on three big walks a day (morning, mid-day, and evening). Our apartment complex has a great dog run, and there are plenty of nearby parks for extra playtime and sniff/potty breaks. On weekends or when I have a bit of downtime, I love taking longer adventures to Central Park or out to Long Island for some fresh air and exploration. The dogs ride safely and comfortably in a secured car bed, so every outing is both fun and safe. 🐕🌿 The dogs are fed on their regular schedule and always have fresh water available throughout the day. We take potty breaks as often as needed and make sure every pup feels comfortable and cared for. Between my work hours, I love spending time playing, snuggling, or going for smaller walks (it’s the best kind of break)! Our home has an overall calm and relaxed atmosphere, but also plenty of fun when the moment calls for it. 🐶💛
