“My dog is old and has quite a few special needs. Austin has a really lovely way with him. Austin has been incredibly patient and gentle and thoughtful about my dog's experience. I highly recommend Austin to care for your senior dog or any dog with special needs.”

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals from spiders to pitbulls- my family’s had a lot of pets over the years! I adore long walks, so if your pet has a lot of energy, I’ll make sure they’re tired out by the end of the day :) I’m starting college next week, so I’ll have tons of free time for your pets! I don’t have a lot of classes since I finished all my pre reqs in high school :) Depending on the details of your pet, I’ll make sure they have the care they need- whether that includes administering medicine, keeping up with energetic pups, or playing fetch for three hours straight until they get tired :)

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 8. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets :) I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 10am. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I follow the owner’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I also keep the home clean and send regular updates with photos.
“As a first time user of Rover with a reactive dog it was hard to trust someone else to take care of my dog, but Becky has been so transparent, caring, communicative and helpful throughout the whole process - Couldn't have asked for a better first experience and Aisling absolutely adores her!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. My family rescued our Australian Cattle dog, who was abused at a young age. He had major anxiety with loud noises and requires a lot of love during thunderstorms/4th of July. When caring for other dogs I treat them as if they are my own. I have experience watching multiple dogs, who may not get along, and give them each the love they need. I will do anything that is needed for your dog to make sure they feel at home. I currently work a 9-5 job at home, so I'm home most of the time. I have availability to leave for breaks where I can go walk your dogs or check up on them. I have a very flexible schedule that we can work around. I live in an apartment on the second floor with my fiancé. Right outside our building is a corner patio that is fenced in. There are 2 small dirt patches, but if they want somewhere to play I would take them to the park or go on a walk. My apartment does have access to a big patio in case of an emergency potty break.
“Sharon is the best at what she does. No one looks after my pup the way she does! Always very communicative and sends the best pics — appreciate the detailed reports. Thank you as always!!!”

“Eliza helped with a last minute walk for our large labradoodle. Haven’t had anyone walk her other than us before. Eliza was very responsive, nice, and comforting to any questions we had. Sent pictures and a video to know our girl was happy and taken care of.”

“Angel is awesome. He really understands dogs and is sensitive to their needs. Our dog is a little uncomfortable around strangers and he did a great job with him on our initial meet and greet. Angel's top priority is safety which really puts me and my husband's mind at ease. We know our dog is in good hands!”

About: I grew up in somewhat of a menagerie in south Florida where we had lots of property and animals like 5 Akitas, a ring tailed lemur, a kinkajou, 2 house cats and 2 big cats (lynx & bobcat). I am no stranger to rolling up my sleeves at home or for my clients. I've cared for pets internationally in Morocco and domestically in NYC. As a natural caregiver and as a clinical social worker I have the highest standards when it comes to those in my charge. I currently work remotely on a part time basis as a recruiter and a caregiver for my grandmother. We have a full house with support coming from many directions and I am looking for a way to make a little extra cash while spending time with animals. My grandmother and husband would prefer not to have a permanent pet, so this is a great compromise. As a clinical social worker I take my work with humans and pets very seriously. It's a mission and I took an oath as an MSW graduate to do my best for all in my charge. My home is in a quiet residential neighborhood in Jackson Heights near a dog park. My home is secure, comes with a backyard and is very clean. Nothing would please me more than to have a furry guest from time to time.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was five years old, helping relatives with their pets and caring for my two family dogs growing up. Even though I don’t currently have dogs, I’ve gained experience with puppies, adult dogs, high energy dogs, and seniors who need extra support. I always focus on creating a safe, loving, and calm environment for every dog in my care. I’m currently home for summer break from college, so I’m free any day of the week and can care for any dogs anytime! I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time and they will have my full attention as I don’t have any pets currently.
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, and caring for animals has always been a part of my life. Even after moving out for college, I continued providing independent and app-based pet care (and now have over 8 years of experience). I work from home, so your pet will always have company, attention, and plenty of love while they’re with me. 🐾 I have experience caring for puppies who need a little extra playtime, training, and patience, as well as dogs that require medication during their stay. I’m also careful and consistent about maintaining each dog’s diet to ensure comfort for pups with sensitive stomachs (mine included). 🦴 The dogs and I typically go on three big walks a day (morning, mid-day, and evening). Our apartment complex has a great dog run, and there are plenty of nearby parks for extra playtime and sniff/potty breaks. On weekends or when I have a bit of downtime, I love taking longer adventures to Central Park or out to Long Island for some fresh air and exploration. The dogs ride safely and comfortably in a secured car bed, so every outing is both fun and safe. 🐕🌿 The dogs are fed on their regular schedule and always have fresh water available throughout the day. We take potty breaks as often as needed and make sure every pup feels comfortable and cared for. Between my work hours, I love spending time playing, snuggling, or going for smaller walks (it’s the best kind of break)! Our home has an overall calm and relaxed atmosphere, but also plenty of fun when the moment calls for it. 🐶💛

About: I grew up caring for many kinds of animals in Virginia, where my mom owns her own legal pet sitting business. I have a great amount of love for all animals, and because of that I have experience in obedience training, agility training, and caring for dogs with disabilities (I own a tripod!) I have always been able to earn the trust of fearful dogs, and have been used in many scenarios for that reason. So, if you own a frightful pup please do not worry! I moved to NY in June 2017 from Washington, DC to build an anti-human trafficking department at a family violence center. I have since transitioned out of this role, obtained my MSW from Columbia University, and now I am in anti-human trafficking research. Can’t wait to meet your doggos and kitties! :-) **I do not accept bookings more than 6 weeks in advanced** **NEW customers — I do not accept last minute pet sitting requests.** IMPORTANT: Meet & greets are always free. Any subsequent key pick ups and drop offs will cost $10. To avoid this, please consider having a copy of your key made for me to keep. Please be sure to update your pet’s vet information and care instructions prior to the first visit. Thank you! I work from home full time, which allows me to be active and present with your pet. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will almost always be close by just incase! Your pet(s) will have free-range of my home with my very sweet dog, Figgy. Figgy and I are very active and love being outdoors, and will be sure to give your pet(s) plenty of outdoor time :-)
About: From long walks to slow sniffy adventures, I’m happy to match your dog’s vibe. I’m easygoing, reliable, and love getting to know each dog’s personality. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority—and I’ll send photo updates so you can see how they’re doing along the way 🐾 Right now, I’m available for dog walks and drop-in visits. I’m typically available on Fridays and throughout the weekends; sometimes I am free during the weekdays outside 9-5. If you have any questions or a specific time in mind, feel free to reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate. I always prioritize safety, trust, and respect when caring for pets in your home. I follow all instructions carefully and treat everything with care. I do this work out of genuine love for animals and always treat each pet as if they were my own. I’m easy to communicate with and quick to respond, and I can send regular photo updates if you’d like.

“JD is an absolutely fantastic dog walker!! He goes on long weekly walks with our very large, high-energy dog and does a great job with him! JD consistently takes care to keep our dog safe and reinforces good behavior on walks! He also sends thorough and very funny updates at the end of each of the walks so we’re always in the loop on how our dog is doing! He is also good at frequently communicating with us each week. In my opinion he is the best dog walker in the neighborhood!!”

Erika has been wonderful with Matisse, and I can't recommend her highly enough. Matisse is a very shy dog, so I really appreciated that Erika suggested a meet & greet before his first walk. It was clear right away how comfortable she is with dogs and how she truly cares about them. I knew that Matisse would be in great hands. I was anxious on their first day together, but Erika was thoughtful and kept me posted throughout the walk. The moment I received her first message saying that Matisse had greeted her at the door with kisses, I stopped worrying. Her patience, professionalism, and kindness made all the difference, and I am so grateful for the care she has shown Matisse. Don't hesitate to book Erika!

Keegan was amazing with Mars!! He was very considerate of his needs and made sure mars wasn’t too hot on the walk and gave him so much attention! I could tell when I got home how happy mars was to play during the day :) will definitely continue to use Keegan’s walking services and strongly recommend him to anyone!!
