About: Hi! I'm an artist/educator living in Sunnyside, Queens who adores all animals. I have a cat myself, named Lemon, who I adore. I've taken care of a multitude of pets through Rover. Additionally, I have cared for my past roommates cats every time she travels and have grown up taking care of cats. I have also cared for several friends' cats while they are away. Growing up, my family had two cats which I fed, played with, and still hold very dear to me. Tending to the cats needs comes very naturally to me, I connect with almost every cat I encounter, even ones that I've been told are not "people cats"! I'm currently working as a teaching artist, adjunct instructor, and choreographer. My schedule offers moderate flexibility leaving me free to stop by and care for your pets! About: I grew up with a dog and a cat, and I adopted my first cat last year. The intervening years have been filled with pet sitting cats and dogs of all sizes (from my Uncle’s Chihuahua to my Brother’s Full Size Great Danoodle and Bernadoodle!). I’d love to check in on or walk your furry friend while you’re away and give them *almost* as much love as you! Whether your favorite furry friend is shy and needs patience or outgoing and just wants a companion for zoomies, I'll keep them safe and happy while you're gone. From simple tasks (feeding, walking, etc.) to the more complicated ones (administering medicine, deep cleaning litter boxes, or following your specialized plan), I'm here for it all! I'm available most weekdays 9-5 and am open to early morning/late evening sessions as well. I also have availability on some weekends; please send me a message and we can find something that works! About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different kinds. Have lived with three different dogs of my own. Mainly work with medium sized dogs but willing to work with other size dogs. Currently in between jobs but I go out lot for walks and runs. Would be able to accommodate different schedules and pet needs. Will have enough time to give your pet the care they need. I used to live with two dogs, so I am used to being attentive to their needs and surroundings while on walks. About: I’ve grown up with 2 dogs, both living to 15 years old! I love them so much and am so grateful to them because now I’d love to share the love and care to other pets as well! I’m patient and very kind with them. I currently work as a freelance photographer so my weekdays are usually more free. About: Pets just seem to trust me. With a biology degree, animal behavior research, and years caring for everything from dogs and cats to snakes and chinchillas, I learn each pet's needs quickly and follow care instructions closely. I raised and trained my family's golden retriever mix from puppyhood. I'm home most days, guest dogs can be crated overnight or are welcome to cuddle in bed if that makes them feel safer. Beautiful Travers Park is a 4-minute walk away from home. I am currently working from home around the clock and have plenty of availability to accommodate your schedule. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for over 35 years. Family, friends, and neighbors have always turned to me to walk and feed their fur babies. I am a stay at home wife and mother to two adult children, so I will be available at any time for your convenience to walk and play with your fur baby. About: **Update:my husband and I serve clients from my rover page because I started dogwalking regularly in the nassau area in BK (feel free to request if in the area Ask me about my homemade dog treats! I had dogs my entire life and I became a professional dog walker full-time so this is a way I could make some extra cash. I have walked various big and small breeds of dogs. I recently started working for a doggy daycare. We played in grassy areas around the city and I have experience with dog parks/runs. I have a pup of my own named Thor who is a pom/wesley and he is like my child. Another reason why I want to do this is because seeing my pups cute little face when I leave is devastating. He is also very energetic and had anxiety so my friend and I have come up with different ways to calm him when his emotions overtake him. We bathe him, groom him, feed him, play with him and give him lots of cuddles and attention. I will gladly treat anyone's little buddy the way I treat mine. Rover is my main source of income other than baking dog treats so I am mostly free and this would help build my personal clientele I have dealt with dogs with cones, I have put dogs in and out of crates if you need. I am experienced with giving your dog a safe and loving environment to be in. I am a full time dog walker/sitter and primary owner of Alexis’ wagging tails, a dog sitting/walking service which is run by my husband and I. My schedule is from 11-3/4ish mon-fri; any other times, I will be accompanying my husband or it would be solely my service whenever I can.
