I adore long walks, so if your pet has a lot of energy, I’ll make sure they’re tired out by the end of the day :) I’m starting college next week, so I’ll have tons of free time for your pets! About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. My family rescued our Australian Cattle dog, who was abused at a young age. He had major anxiety with loud noises and requires a lot of love during thunderstorms/4th of July. When caring for other dogs I treat them as if they are my own. I have experience watching multiple dogs, who may not get along, and give them each the love they need. I will do anything that is needed for your dog to make sure they feel at home. I currently work a 9-5 job at home, so I'm home most of the time. I have availability to leave for breaks where I can go walk your dogs or check up on them. I have a very flexible schedule that we can work around. I live in an apartment on the second floor with my fiancé. Right outside our building is a corner patio that is fenced in. There are 2 small dirt patches, but if they want somewhere to play I would take them to the park or go on a walk. My apartment does have access to a big patio in case of an emergency potty break.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, and caring for animals has always been a part of my life. Even after moving out for college, I continued providing independent and app-based pet care (and now have over 8 years of experience). I work from home, so your pet will always have company, attention, and plenty of love while they’re with me. 🐾 I have experience caring for puppies who need a little extra playtime, training, and patience, as well as dogs that require medication during their stay. I’m also careful and consistent about maintaining each dog’s diet to ensure comfort for pups with sensitive stomachs (mine included). 🦴 The dogs and I typically go on three big walks a day (morning, mid-day, and evening). Our apartment complex has a great dog run, and there are plenty of nearby parks for extra playtime and sniff/potty breaks. On weekends or when I have a bit of downtime, I love taking longer adventures to Central Park or out to Long Island for some fresh air and exploration. The dogs ride safely and comfortably in a secured car bed, so every outing is both fun and safe. 🐕🌿 The dogs are fed on their regular schedule and always have fresh water available throughout the day. We take potty breaks as often as needed and make sure every pup feels comfortable and cared for. Between my work hours, I love spending time playing, snuggling, or going for smaller walks (it’s the best kind of break)! About: I grew up in somewhat of a menagerie in south Florida where we had lots of property and animals like 5 Akitas, a ring tailed lemur, a kinkajou, 2 house cats and 2 big cats (lynx & bobcat). I am no stranger to rolling up my sleeves at home or for my clients. I've cared for pets internationally in Morocco and domestically in NYC. As a natural caregiver and as a clinical social worker I have the highest standards when it comes to those in my charge. I currently work remotely on a part time basis as a recruiter and a caregiver for my grandmother. We have a full house with support coming from many directions and I am looking for a way to make a little extra cash while spending time with animals. My grandmother and husband would prefer not to have a permanent pet, so this is a great compromise. As a clinical social worker I take my work with humans and pets very seriously. It's a mission and I took an oath as an MSW graduate to do my best for all in my charge. My home is in a quiet residential neighborhood in Jackson Heights near a dog park. My home is secure, comes with a backyard and is very clean. Nothing would please me more than to have a furry guest from time to time.

In the past, I've had a Malinois-mix, Labrador, Aussie Cattle Dog, and 3 Pembrokeshire Corgis, and have good experience with senior/ special needs dogs. One of my corgis had degenerative myelopathy (doggy ALS) and lived with this spinal disease for 2 years, needing a doggy wheelchair for the last 2 years of her life. Another Corgi had deformed growth plates on her front paws, which needed additional patience and care. I'm patient and gentle with dogs, as well as being highly aware of my energy around them. When your dog is in my care, they will get quality interactions throughout the day. Dog walking and sitting fit seamlessly into my schedule Monday through Friday, making it easy to provide consistent care for your pets during the week. On weekends, I’m happy to accommodate bookings with enough notice, ensuring flexibility for your plans. Whether it’s daily walks or longer sitting sessions, I’m here to keep your dogs happy and cared for whenever you need. Although I don’t have a garden, I make sure dogs in my care are happy, stimulated, and well-exercised. With a playground and dog run (Skillman/ 43rd) just outside, I have quick access to a safe space for playtime and walks. When walking dogs, I like to spot and deal with (avoid) problems long before they're in front of me. I also focus on providing plenty of mental stimulation through interactive toys, games, and training activities to keep their minds active. Inside my home, I create a cozy and comfortable environment where dogs can relax and feel at ease after their outdoor adventures. I also have a lot of medical experience with dogs (both sickness and disability), should your dog need additional (or around the clock) care. My vet will confirm, if you need a reference for peace of mind. I am very safety-conscious and never leave dogs unattended or do off-leash walks. Dog runs are only used with owner's prior approval.
