About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals from spiders to pitbulls- my family’s had a lot of pets over the years! I adore long walks, so if your pet has a lot of energy, I’ll make sure they’re tired out by the end of the day :) I’m starting college next week, so I’ll have tons of free time for your pets! I don’t have a lot of classes since I finished all my pre reqs in high school :) Depending on the details of your pet, I’ll make sure they have the care they need- whether that includes administering medicine, keeping up with energetic pups, or playing fetch for three hours straight until they get tired :)
“Austin is so great with our older French Bulldog, Penelope. She has some mobility issues, and he is incredibly patient with her, conscious of her need for short walks, and gives her a nice brushing and some outside time when she's done walking. She looks forward to having him come by every day, and so do we!”

Dogs are always securely leashed on walks, and cats are never forced into interaction, they’re cared for on their terms. In your home, I’m respectful, clean, and mindful of security at all times. You’ll receive regular photo updates so you always know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for.
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. My family rescued our Australian Cattle dog, who was abused at a young age. He had major anxiety with loud noises and requires a lot of love during thunderstorms/4th of July. When caring for other dogs I treat them as if they are my own. I have experience watching multiple dogs, who may not get along, and give them each the love they need. I will do anything that is needed for your dog to make sure they feel at home. I currently work a 9-5 job at home, so I'm home most of the time. I have availability to leave for breaks where I can go walk your dogs or check up on them. I have a very flexible schedule that we can work around. I live in an apartment on the second floor with my fiancé. Right outside our building is a corner patio that is fenced in. There are 2 small dirt patches, but if they want somewhere to play I would take them to the park or go on a walk. My apartment does have access to a big patio in case of an emergency potty break.

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 8. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets :) I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 10am. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I follow the owner’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I also keep the home clean and send regular updates with photos.
“Eliza helped with a last minute walk for our large labradoodle. Haven’t had anyone walk her other than us before. Eliza was very responsive, nice, and comforting to any questions we had. Sent pictures and a video to know our girl was happy and taken care of.”

“We are so thankful to have found Sharon and have relied on her to both walk and care for our senior dog, Ona, for nearly a year now. Sharon is not only patient, but caring for Ona and we always know that she’s in the best hands with Sharon!”
About: From long walks to slow sniffy adventures, I’m happy to match your dog’s vibe. I’m easygoing, reliable, and love getting to know each dog’s personality. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priority—and I’ll send photo updates so you can see how they’re doing along the way 🐾 Right now, I’m available for dog walks and drop-in visits. I’m typically available on Fridays and throughout the weekends; sometimes I am free during the weekdays outside 9-5. If you have any questions or a specific time in mind, feel free to reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate. I always prioritize safety, trust, and respect when caring for pets in your home. I follow all instructions carefully and treat everything with care. I do this work out of genuine love for animals and always treat each pet as if they were my own. I’m easy to communicate with and quick to respond, and I can send regular photo updates if you’d like.
About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, and caring for animals has always been a part of my life. Even after moving out for college, I continued providing independent and app-based pet care (and now have over 8 years of experience). I work from home, so your pet will always have company, attention, and plenty of love while they’re with me. 🐾 I have experience caring for puppies who need a little extra playtime, training, and patience, as well as dogs that require medication during their stay. I’m also careful and consistent about maintaining each dog’s diet to ensure comfort for pups with sensitive stomachs (mine included). 🦴 The dogs and I typically go on three big walks a day (morning, mid-day, and evening). Our apartment complex has a great dog run, and there are plenty of nearby parks for extra playtime and sniff/potty breaks. On weekends or when I have a bit of downtime, I love taking longer adventures to Central Park or out to Long Island for some fresh air and exploration. The dogs ride safely and comfortably in a secured car bed, so every outing is both fun and safe. 🐕🌿 The dogs are fed on their regular schedule and always have fresh water available throughout the day. We take potty breaks as often as needed and make sure every pup feels comfortable and cared for. Between my work hours, I love spending time playing, snuggling, or going for smaller walks (it’s the best kind of break)! Our home has an overall calm and relaxed atmosphere, but also plenty of fun when the moment calls for it. 🐶💛
About: I grew up in somewhat of a menagerie in south Florida where we had lots of property and animals like 5 Akitas, a ring tailed lemur, a kinkajou, 2 house cats and 2 big cats (lynx & bobcat). I am no stranger to rolling up my sleeves at home or for my clients. I've cared for pets internationally in Morocco and domestically in NYC. As a natural caregiver and as a clinical social worker I have the highest standards when it comes to those in my charge. I currently work remotely on a part time basis as a recruiter and a caregiver for my grandmother. We have a full house with support coming from many directions and I am looking for a way to make a little extra cash while spending time with animals. My grandmother and husband would prefer not to have a permanent pet, so this is a great compromise. As a clinical social worker I take my work with humans and pets very seriously. It's a mission and I took an oath as an MSW graduate to do my best for all in my charge. My home is in a quiet residential neighborhood in Jackson Heights near a dog park. My home is secure, comes with a backyard and is very clean. Nothing would please me more than to have a furry guest from time to time.
“Angel has been patient, professional and able to meet my pup where she is. This was one of the first times we’ve had a walked and Angelina’s been really helpful and trustworthy during this transition. Thank you, Angel!”

“Briana has been amazing! Very puntual, polite and great communication skills. My 2 pups adore her. She has also been flexible to help me when i am working late and my pups need afternoon walks. I will continue booking with her.”

“JD is an absolutely fantastic dog walker!! He goes on long weekly walks with our very large, high-energy dog and does a great job with him! JD consistently takes care to keep our dog safe and reinforces good behavior on walks! He also sends thorough and very funny updates at the end of each of the walks so we’re always in the loop on how our dog is doing! He is also good at frequently communicating with us each week. In my opinion he is the best dog walker in the neighborhood!!”

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with my family dogs Daisy the Shih Tzu for 14 great years, and caring for her taught me everything from daily routines to understanding her weird little quirks that make each dog unique. Since then, I’ve become the go‑to dog sitter for my friends, regularly helping with walks and overnight stays. I genuinely love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’m patient, attentive, and know the importance of taking care of your dog as if it was my own. Your pet’s comfort and routine matter to me, and I’m committed to giving them the same love and attention they expect at home. I am currently working a flexible hybrid job in Tribeca and live in Astoria. I am flexible in terms of being near either location and more throughout the week. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a clean, well‑organized 1‑bedroom apartment (about 500 sq ft), which creates a calm, controlled, and quiet environment that’s perfect for dogs who thrive on consistency and attention. My apartment is a short walk from multiple parks, so your dog will have plenty of space to play. The space is fully pet‑proofed and there is plenty of space for your dog’s bed/crate.
About: Experienced and dedicated dog walker and sitter (and currently studying to be a professional dog trainer), I specialize in caring for all breeds but have a special passion for working breeds and mixes. With a deep understanding of their needs, energy levels, and unique personalities, I ensure they get the physical activity and mental stimulation they thrive on. Whether it's an adventurous hike, a game of fetch, or personalized care while you're away, I’m committed to keeping tails wagging and paws happy. My last dog passed 18months ago, and don't currently have any pets. In the past, I've had a Malinois-mix, Labrador, Aussie Cattle Dog, and 3 Pembrokeshire Corgis, and have good experience with senior/ special needs dogs. One of my corgis had degenerative myelopathy (doggy ALS) and lived with this spinal disease for 2 years, needing a doggy wheelchair for the last 2 years of her life. Another Corgi had deformed growth plates on her front paws, which needed additional patience and care. I'm patient and gentle with dogs, as well as being highly aware of my energy around them. When your dog is in my care, they will get quality interactions throughout the day. Dog walking and sitting fit seamlessly into my schedule Monday through Friday, making it easy to provide consistent care for your pets during the week. On weekends, I’m happy to accommodate bookings with enough notice, ensuring flexibility for your plans. Whether it’s daily walks or longer sitting sessions, I’m here to keep your dogs happy and cared for whenever you need. Although I don’t have a garden, I make sure dogs in my care are happy, stimulated, and well-exercised. With a playground and dog run (Skillman/ 43rd) just outside, I have quick access to a safe space for playtime and walks. When walking dogs, I like to spot and deal with (avoid) problems long before they're in front of me. I also focus on providing plenty of mental stimulation through interactive toys, games, and training activities to keep their minds active. Inside my home, I create a cozy and comfortable environment where dogs can relax and feel at ease after their outdoor adventures. I also have a lot of medical experience with dogs (both sickness and disability), should your dog need additional (or around the clock) care. My vet will confirm, if you need a reference for peace of mind. I am very safety-conscious and never leave dogs unattended or do off-leash walks. Dog runs are only used with owner's prior approval.

Woodside dog parents share their Rover experiences
Eliza has been walking our pup, Pippy, every week for the past several months, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better walker. From day one, she has been reliable, communicative, and incredibly caring. The biggest endorsement comes from Pippy herself, she absolutely adores Eliza. Every walk is the highlight of her day, and it's obvious how much trust and affection they've built together. In fact, we're pretty sure Pippy is more upset with us for moving neighborhoods than she is excited about the new place, simply because it means she won't get to see Eliza every week! Eliza consistently goes above and beyond, and we've always had complete peace of mind knowing Pippy was in such great hands. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone who will care for their pet as if it were her own. Thank you, Eliza, for being such an important part of Pippy's routine and for setting an incredibly high bar for dog walkers everywhere!

This was one of my first times using a dog walker and Lauren made me feel so comfortable with the process! She asked all the right questions and made sure to understand my dog’s quirks before taking her out. She was very quick to communicate and I know she took good care of Lily. We will definitely be working with Lauren again :)

Victor was excellent — punctual, professional, and genuinely great with our dog. He kept us posted with timely updates and photos, followed all care instructions, and went above and beyond to make sure Parker was happy and safe. Highly recommend him to anyone needing reliable, caring dog-walking service.
