About: About me! Have had my cat Bo for 18 years, and also previously two Maine Coons. Currently have a second cat, Sydney, 3 years old, the second love of my life. Rescued an 11-year-old golden retriever in 2017. Have dog sat / cat sat / dog walked for family and friends for years, most recently a Rhodesian ridgeback and golden/lab mix in the West Village, and a husky/cattle dog and a chihuahua/Jack russell mix - both in Bushwick. I am reliable, friendly and easy going. I go the extra mile - not just in this but all things. I’ll do whatever in my power to care for your baby and make you feel comfortable. I get it - I’ve used this service. You want to know that the person is doing their part when and how they say, and that your dog/cat is in good hands. I’m also ok w messy jobs. About: I've always been an animal lover. At 12, I started watching my neighbors' cats and walking a golden retriever. When I was 14, my family got a (slightly troublesome) Portuguese water dog, and I now have an energetic cat named Linus at home, both of which formed me into a very careful pet owner. I'm confident with dogs and cats of various temperaments. I hope to meet your feline or canine friends! I'm a professor during the academic year, but my days are very flexible over the summer so I can be available just about any time of the day or evening. I do not offer boarding. I am careful and kind with pets and happy follow whatever directions you have. I am also an effective communicator and willing to do so however you find easiest.

Easiest 5-star review I’ve ever made! Deserving of 10+ stars. Christian was amazing with my dog Shiloh! He was always here on time for her walks, very communicative throughout the whole process, and was very professional. I can tell he genuinely loves animals and wants to provide the best care for someone’s pet. For someone who has an anxious dog like myself, it’s hard to not worry a bit when you’re out of town - but with Christian I quickly realized I was in good hands. I would completely trust him taking care of my dog anytime. I Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to find someone they can trust with their pet. I will definitely be requesting Christian again for the next time I need to go out of town!
