About: Ever since I was 5, I've always had animal in my life. My family got our first cat when I was 5 and she lived to be 22! I grew up being very involved in their care, even going to the vet with my parents. Since then I've lived with many different pets and watched many friends and family's when needed. While sitting I will have plenty of free time for walks, the park, playing, and hanging out. Any attention your pet may require. I'm accustomed to long stays and quickly getting to know pet's personalities. As of right now I have complete open availability so can be as present as needed. I currently have open availability and can always be around when you and your pet need it. Weekends, weekdays, and long stays are no issue at all. I'm located in Ridgewood and travel mostly by bicycle so I can get anywhere fast. I let pets approach me, especially when first meeting, to give them the space they need and to not appear confrontational. Staying consistent and being calm with meeting pets where they need to be met is well understood. Environments will be kept clean and behaviors will always be noticed and taken into consideration. You can rest assured knowing emotional and physical care will be a top priority.

About: About me! Have had my cat Bo for 18 years, and also previously two Maine Coons. Currently have a second cat, Sydney, 3 years old, the second love of my life. Rescued an 11-year-old golden retriever in 2017. Have dog sat / cat sat / dog walked for family and friends for years, most recently a Rhodesian ridgeback and golden/lab mix in the West Village, and a husky/cattle dog and a chihuahua/Jack russell mix - both in Bushwick. About: I'm an animal welfare professional actively building toward a career in animal behavior and training, grounded in real-world shelter experience and a deep commitment to whole-animal care. My shelter background has given me hands-on experience with high-volume intake, humane handling of anxious and behaviorally complex animals, and close collaboration with medical, admissions, and volunteer teams. I work calmly under pressure and communicate clearly across all parts of an organization. Over the past year I've been going deeper into the areas I care most about: balanced training, behavior modification, play-based training, and socialization and neutralization work. I have a full house of animals with two cats, two dogs and a reptile! We enjoy an active life with walks, play and adventure although have a nice balance with rest too:) Safety is my #1 priority. I firmly believe that a trained animal is a happy animal! Every animal that comes into my care has clear expectations so everyone can thrive to the best of their ability. About: I have been pet sitting neighborhood pets since I was 9 years old. I adore animals and find that life is drastically less enjoyable without them in my life, in some capacity. I have many years of experience walking, caring for, and boarding animals. I will love them like they're my own! I adore early, early mornings, long walks, and especially runs. If you have a dog that needs more vigorous exercise, I would love to run them until they're totally tuckered out! I prefer homes that have safety and security in mind- well-lit, good fencing, very little chance for anyone to pull a Houdini. It's important that collars, leashes, and lighting apparatus are in excellent condition.
