About: I have had the pleasure of being around dogs my entire life, whether as my own pets or through caring for the dogs of family and friends. This experience taught me about different breeds' unique personalities and specific needs. I have cared for various dog breeds, from family breeds like Labrador and Golden Retrievers to powerful breeds like American Pitbull Terriers and Dogo Argentinos. As a former dog owner, I am especially mindful and sensitive to the needs of senior dogs, as they require more care and attention. I work part-time online, so I have plenty of time to provide the care and attention your dog deserves.  I’m available for boarding, doggy daycare, and dog walking on weekends and weekdays, and I can offer flexible hours.  Please feel free to communicate with me to discuss and arrange the details. As a former dog owner, I understand how important it is to find the right person to entrust the responsibility of caring for your loved one.  I genuinely love dogs and animals in general, so you can rest assured that your dog will be treated like family.  What sets me apart from other candidates is the unique and enriching environment I can provide for your dog.  I have a securely fenced yard and the convenience of being just a block away from Forest Park, the third largest park in Queens, with over 5 miles of walking trails.  This ensures ample space for exercise, play, and relaxation in a safe and stimulating setting.  For overnight boarding, I can provide your dog with their own room. It used to be my personal gym until I joined a nearby gym, so now it's an extra space perfect for your pet. If your dog is trained to sleep outside your bedroom, I can maintain that routine by giving them their own dedicated room.

About: Hey, I’m Kayla! I’m currently working part-time and am living with my boyfriend, Ethan, who works from home full-time. Between the two of us, we’re able to provide attentive and reliable care for your pets around the clock! Currently, we don’t have any pets of our own and are looking to fill the furry friend shaped hole in our hearts while letting you catch a break, a win-win! Due to the nature of our work, our routines are highly flexible, so if your pet already runs on a regular schedule, please let us know so that we can do our best to maintain their regular feeding, walking, medication, and/or wind down times. If your pet lives a more “go with the flow” lifestyle, that’s totally fine too! We can establish a morning and night feeding time and take them out every few hours/as needed. We don’t have any pets or children, so your pets will be our number one priority! I’m a strong believer of the impact of environment on wellbeing. Therefore, we pride ourselves on the cleanliness, calmness, and organization of our home. This means a mess-free and stress-free environment for your pet during their stay with us. If care is taking place in your home, we’re there by your rules! Please let us know anything we need to know ahead of time so that we can be as respectful of your space as possible. Lastly, we value your trust and know that good communication is essential for building that foundation. We’ll always do our best to respond to any inquiries you may have in a reasonably timely fashion and ask that you do the same when necessary. Of course, we also want to reassure you that your pet is having a good time (and because we know how much you’ll miss them), so we’ll send occasional pictures and updates during your pet’s time with us to keep you in the loop without expecting you to respond to everything.

“OMG what a Godsend! I have left my Carrie with Stephanie dozens of times and she has always been great, attentive, responsive and sends tons of photos. Carrie hates to leave (which makes me both sad and relieved). On my last visit, I alerted Stephanie that Carrie hadn’t pooped. She really went above and beyond, picking up softener, buying special dog food. After a while I thought I better take Carrie to the local vet (I don’t live in the area). When I called the vet, the receptionist told me that Stephanie had already called about Carrie and was speaking to the on call doctor!!!! She then called me and informed me what the vet told her and the steps she was taking. You cannot pay for this level of comfort and ease. Stephanie is a crucial part of our care team…just the absolute best.”

I adore animals, they make me feel jolly and they bring me so much tranquility. I been owning different kind of pets for about 16 years now. I have my own dog, he’s a maltipoo. He’s the baby of the house. He’s 10 years old right now and still acts like the baby of our home. I would love to take care of and become close to some other dogs/ cats. I want to make them satisfied along with their owner, of course. I took care of some friends pets and treated them as if they were my own pets. I have watched a couple of dogs on rover at this point and it went great. A pet can become like family to you. I have worked in peoples homes and understand what is appropriate behavior in a strangers home. I don’t mind cameras, I totally understand. I respect one’s home like it’s my own. I will play with your dog/ cat feed them and exercise them as needed and assist them to their specific needs.
