Mochi has diabetes and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours in addition to another medication twice a week and Eleni was happy to learn and able to give Mochi his meds which can be a bit daunting and sometimes difficult depending on his mood. but Eleni was attentive and really took the time to learn and care for him properly! my other cat Kumo is a scaredy baby and rarely shows his face around people but Eleni was patient and really put effort into getting him comfortable with her. Eleni updated me with great details about how they’re doing and food. the weather was changing every day from being very cold and then very hot and Eleni proactively adjusted the thermostat accordingly when needed! she would turn on cat TV every couple days AND put treats in their treat games daily so they would stay occupied during the day. Mochi had an accident and Eleni didn't hesitate to clean it up and take out the trash. she really took care of everything!”

To explain, I had to go into my office LAST minute and at 1230 am it was my first time using this app and I posted requests for someone to basically dog sit for the same day- she was immediately responsive even though it was a last minute request. About: I am extremely aware of what kind of attention animals need, both nurturing and caring, and I am always taking care of my friends dogs and cat sitting for people. I also have owned a dog named Indy in the past. I am currently working part-time in the evening and have PLENTY of time to take care of and nurture dogs and go out of for amazing long walks and sit for them. I usually like to go on walks and runs for 30 minutes minimum. I live close to a dog park, so I like I like to play activities like play fetch and throw frisbees for them to catch. If they are friendly, I will occasionally allow them to play with another owner’s dog if the owner consents to it. And then we relax. About: I'm an animal welfare professional actively building toward a career in animal behavior and training, grounded in real-world shelter experience and a deep commitment to whole-animal care. My shelter background has given me hands-on experience with high-volume intake, humane handling of anxious and behaviorally complex animals, and close collaboration with medical, admissions, and volunteer teams. I have a full house of animals with two cats, two dogs and a reptile! We enjoy an active life with walks, play and adventure although have a nice balance with rest too:) Safety is my #1 priority. About: I’ve taken many of my friends’ pets in during times when they’re away and the pets have become like family! I love meeting new pets and exposing them to exercise and rewarding them with yummy treats. Since leaving corporate life, I have nothing but time to accommodate, host or hang out with a little furry friend. We can run errands together, explore the neighborhood or even just enjoy a relaxing chill moment. Your dog can be easily kept/in crate on my side of my apartment. My roommate is also very pet-friendly and welcomes the company of any furry friends we may make!

I've had dogs all my life, took care of puppies and rescued dogs for more than 10 years, and now I bathe and groom dogs part-time.
