Usually I have the same sitters so I was a little bit nervous (mostly after some back-and-forth with other potential sitters, it's a bit of a wild ride on Rover last minute HUH?!), we met and my pup got to meet Patrice's pups and get comfortable in their space. It was so appreciated to take the time to do that. Mochi has diabetes and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours in addition to another medication twice a week and Eleni was happy to learn and able to give Mochi his meds which can be a bit daunting and sometimes difficult depending on his mood. but Eleni was attentive and really took the time to learn and care for him properly! my other cat Kumo is a scaredy baby and rarely shows his face around people but Eleni was patient and really put effort into getting him comfortable with her. Eleni updated me with great details about how they’re doing and food. the weather was changing every day from being very cold and then very hot and Eleni proactively adjusted the thermostat accordingly when needed! she would turn on cat TV every couple days AND put treats in their treat games daily so they would stay occupied during the day. Mochi had an accident and Eleni didn't hesitate to clean it up and take out the trash. she really took care of everything!”

Im currently taking care a senior dog of my own who is 15yrs old, and I am also enrolled in classes to become a Veterinary Technician. To explain, I had to go into my office LAST minute and at 1230 am it was my first time using this app and I posted requests for someone to basically dog sit for the same day- she was immediately responsive even though it was a last minute request. I saw she had already gotten consistent great reviews and I was worried to leave my 7 week old shih tsu (like a baby) with anyone ) -Jameeka she handles all dog ages - she was responsive, kept me updated throughout the day. I even got stuck in traffic on the way for pick up and was late she was fine. About: I'm an animal welfare professional actively building toward a career in animal behavior and training, grounded in real-world shelter experience and a deep commitment to whole-animal care. I grew up being very involved in their care, even going to the vet with my parents. Since then I've lived with many different pets and watched many friends and family's when needed. I have many years of experience walking, caring for, and boarding animals. I will love them like they're my own! I adore early, early mornings, long walks, and especially runs. If you have a dog that needs more vigorous exercise, I would love to run them until they're totally tuckered out! I prefer homes that have safety and security in mind- well-lit, good fencing, very little chance for anyone to pull a Houdini. Stella kept us updated every day with a mini recap of videos and pictures. She made sure he got enough exercise and play time throughout the day as well as stimulation. We were so appreciative of her helpful tips and thoughtfulness throughout his stay including giving him enrichment toys, lots of outside time, and maintaining some training habits.
