About: I got Mikan as a puppy 3 years ago and we’ve been 2 peas in a pod ever since. I also have experience pet sitting my friend’s dogs. I currently work on-site at the building I live in, and also have a 3 year old dog that will keep your pet company. My building has a fenced in dog run, and there are many places to walk in my neighborhood. I make sure that pets feel safe and loved when they stay with me.

Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets :) I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 10am. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I follow the owner’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I also keep the home clean and send regular updates with photos.

About: I'm a very gentle, responsible, and hardworking pet-sitter. I've taken care of dogs and cats of all sorts of sizes and breeds. I currently live with a pet and have lived with pets in the past while taking care of them. I also know basic grooming if you need help with that as well! I mostly stay home from Friday to Monday, so I can provide services over long weekends. I also come home from work around 5pm from Tuesday to Thursday, so I can provide services after 5pm then. I'm physically active, so I can also play with high-energy dogs. I live in a safe neighborhood with a spacious apartment. My roommate has an adorable miniature dachshund, Koko. Koko is extremely well-behaved and well-socialized. If your pet were to stay with me, she/he would be very safe and comfortable.

About: Hi! My name is Sara and I recently signed up with Rover! I have more than 5 years of personal experience caring for pets as I have two senior dogs, one adult dog, and two cats. I often care for pets belonging to family or friends whether it was for walking, bathing, or just simply checking-in. I am currently working part-time remote and am able to choose my own schedule so I am able to accommodate most schedules and have a lot of play time set aside! If there is a specific routine for your pet, I will gladly make sure we follow it! I treat every pet as if they were my own! I make sure they have everything they need, from food and fresh water to exercise, playtime, and lots of love. I understand that pets can have different personalities and needs, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away.

About: I love all dogs and my schedule is very open to walk them anytime during the daytime. I can go as fast or as slow as they want and stay alert to their special needs I work from home now and freelance so I create my own schedule. I prefer to go on walks during the day but I can be available at night too I’ve had 2 small dogs but I can walk dogs if any size and energy level. I usually let the dogs tell me what they want.

About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. When my family got our first dog when I was 9 I helped train him. I assisted my parents in going to doggy training classes and even taught him more tricks at home. As our family dog aged I still took care of him making sure to give him his medication and be wary of his health issues. My parents eventually ended up getting another dog. The training and care for this dog didn’t differ from the other one as well. My patience with animals has always aided in my pet care. I have a cat at home right now and so does my roommate. I make sure everyday they are fed and played with. I also clean their litter boxes on a daily basis. When I dog sit for my parents I make sure my schedule revolves around them. I make sure pets have enough attention so they aren’t wired with energy or feel neglected. For pets that are more shy I will let them come to me as I care for them. Patience is essential in building trust with a pet.

Some can have food available all times, while others need to be served at specific times, with the right ammount. I take details seriously and I will pay attention to your requests and execute them well! I had a lovely Schnauzer miniature named Jessie for 17 years and she was the happiness of my life. Unfortunately pets don’t live longer... and she passed. Now I have an adopted 12 year old cat, named Katie, and she is open up every day more. Just as my love grows!!!! About: I’ve always loved spending time with dogs and cats and taking care of friends’ and family’s pets. Since we don’t have a pet of our own right now, we really enjoy being able to dedicate our time to caring for someone else’s when the opportunity comes up and share our love for animals with many rover dogs. Back in Germany, we regularly took care of a friend’s toy poodle and my husband grew up with two Newfoundlands, so being around dogs has always been a very natural part of his life too. Since moving to New York, I’ve especially missed having a dog around and having an excuse to go on long walks to get off the screen during our day to day work. We’re both very caring and attentive and really enjoy having a dog as part of our day. We also prefer to care for one dog at a time, so your dog gets our full attention. For us, pet sitting is not just about making sure your dog is fed and walked. We want them to feel comfortable, safe and genuinely cared for while they’re with us. We’re happy to follow their usual routine, give them lots of cuddles and belly rubs if they enjoy them, and provide daily brushing if that’s something they’re used to. We have met so many sweet pups in the last 2 years being sitters on Rover! We’d love to become a reliable second home for your dog and give them the same kind of reliable care and attention we would want for our own pet. I work fully from home during the week and have a fairly flexible schedule, so I can usually adapt to your dog’s routine and make time for walks, playtime and potty breaks throughout the day. My husband also works from home most of the week, so there is usually one of us around. Occasionally he travels for work and I may join him, but these trips are planned ahead and we keep our calendar updated. We would never accept a boarding stay if there was a chance we couldn’t be there for your dog. On weekends we often have plans, but when we’re staying in the neighbourhood we’re also happy to take walks or board a dog, as long as we can give them the time and attention they deserve. We live in a very dog-friendly apartment building near the Queens Plaza subway station and enjoy having a calm, clean and safe home for dogs to stay in. When your dog is with us, we want them to feel at home rather than like they’re in an unfamiliar place. We’ll give them time to settle in, respect their boundaries and pay attention to what makes them comfortable. We’re also happy to keep up with little parts of their normal routine, feel free to let us know! We don’t leave dogs unattended during a boarding stay or daycare. If we have plans that would mean we couldn’t be there, we would rather decline the request than leave your dog alone.

About: I’ve had 2 dogs growing up (a big pom and a maltese yorkie) and cat sat for my friends, I’m very passionate about meeting and caring for furry friends as I miss my pups back home very much! Would also just love to meet local community neighbors and their pets. I also have experience taking care of a senior dog and giving medication if needed. I am in office 3 days a week and home the other days to take care of your pets! Happy to get their walking in with my walking. I will play with pets, help with any grooming regular maintenance like brushing, take them on walks, feed them and if needed I am also familiar with giving medication.
