About: I have two cats at home in Michigan who I love dearly and take care of: cleaning litter boxes, feeding, playing, etc. I also grew up with medium-sized dogs, love dogs oh so much, and have experience with their care as well: taking outside, going on walks, feeding, playing, etc. In my couple of months on here, I have already had the pleasure of taking care of many pets and am so grateful to have some repeat clients! I can’t wait to get to know more NYC pets!!! I love animals with every bone in my body :) I am a barista almost full-time and an aspiring actor, so auditions are a heavy part of my schedule. Shorter tasks and small drop-in visits are best for me! I typically work either 6:30-1 or 12:30-7:30 5 days a week, usually having Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Let me know what works for you! The intervening years have been filled with pet sitting cats and dogs of all sizes (from my Uncle’s Chihuahua to my Brother’s Full Size Great Danoodle and Bernadoodle!). About: I've walked tons of dogs before moving here to New York. I care for any do like they are my own. I've helped train my mother in laws dog when she first got her and I have always loved having dog time! Whether its going on a walk or playing with them! I have lots of free time during the day typically which is a great fit for when someone's dog needs some love and attention. I would love to spend time with other folks fur babies and take them on their afternoon walkies! I understand that letting someone into your home and taking your pet out can be daunting, but I have also worked with Rover and have plenty of experience with taking out dogs, feeding them and hanging out with them to give them the attention needed.

About: I’ve had cats since I was 10. I adopted my current cat Snap Pea over 3 years ago, a 5 year old dilute calico FIV+. I’ve frequently volunteered at the cat shelter/adoption center, and I’ve taken care of many friends’ cats and dogs while they were away. I’d love to care for your fur baby too! I work full time during the week, so I can do drop by visits or walks for cats/small dogs before 9am and after 5pm. I’m based in the Astoria, Queens neighborhood. I scoop the litter box 1x per day. I play and cuddle with my cat. I also always take plenty of photos for whoever I cat sit for so their owners know they’re having a fun time! I can also walk small to medium sized dogs.

About: **Update:my husband and I serve clients from my rover page because I started dogwalking regularly in the nassau area in BK (feel free to request if in the area Ask me about my homemade dog treats! I had dogs my entire life and I became a professional dog walker full-time so this is a way I could make some extra cash. I have walked various big and small breeds of dogs. I recently started working for a doggy daycare. We played in grassy areas around the city and I have experience with dog parks/runs. I have a pup of my own named Thor who is a pom/wesley and he is like my child. Another reason why I want to do this is because seeing my pups cute little face when I leave is devastating. He is also very energetic and had anxiety so my friend and I have come up with different ways to calm him when his emotions overtake him. Rover is my main source of income other than baking dog treats so I am mostly free and this would help build my personal clientele I have dealt with dogs with cones, I have put dogs in and out of crates if you need. I am a full time dog walker/sitter and primary owner of Alexis’ wagging tails, a dog sitting/walking service which is run by my husband and I. I'm also a journalist with a love for writing about movies and TV (which I do part-time). I enjoy petsitting because I genuinely feel a sense of connection and empathy towards cats and dogs. Even if I walk a dog just one time, I'll go out of my way to make sure they feel safe and loved. I’ve been sitting cats and dogs for about 3 years, both in Melbourne and NYC. O, Oh, and I do especially well with anxious cats. I’ve been told that so have the type of tranquil energy that keeps them comfortable and at ease. I’ve also administered a variety of medicines to animals, including stomach meds hidden inside a pill pocket, liquid antibiotics measured via a syringe, and blood pressure meds. I also recently administered daily ringworm medication to an older cat: his lesions resolved completely under my care, which was great. I also love looking after dogs and in particular have cared for many poodle mixes. 🐩 I love taking them on walks (I can walk two at a time) and paying visits to the dog park, regardless of if you have a high-energy dog with a fetch addiction or a more low-key fellow who prefers to saunter and sniff. I’ve also looked after puppies and trained them on basic drills and commands. Many treats were provided in exchange for their sacrifice, and cute faces, of course! I promise: your pets are 100% my priority. I’m not the type of sitter who will leave your fur children on their own for long stretches of time. I will be there for your pets so that they know they’re safe and loved! About my routine: I’m presently a journalist doing casual weekend work, but that work is done from home. At other times, I’m pitching and/or job hunting. This means I have a ton of time to spend with your babies, which is especially useful if your pets get separation anxiety. I love to play with animals and will make sure they’re getting balanced days, filled with play, pats, rest, relaxation, grooming, and of course, their daily food and water! I love sitting for pets in their own homes, as I find that animals, especially cats, are happier and more open to new people while safety situated in the environment that they know and love.
