About: I’ve been walking and caring for dogs in the city for about 5 years. My most special experience is becoming very close to my husband’s two pitbulls-Rza and Yazoo! They have my heart! Before that, I walked and fed dogs in my neighborhood growing up I had an aussie-german shepherd who I trained and loved very much. I have a big heart for dogs and understand the skills and patience required. I am aware of the responsibilities that come with pet ownership. I understand all dogs have a different personality! I will be sure to give your dog extra love while you two are apart under a careful & safe eye. I have a very open and flexible schedule and you can count on me to be around! I have a 9-6 full time job so I only have limited availability. I am available only on Thursdays + Fridays so I am not very flexible for other days. I want to always make sure the dog has their necessities taken care of food, water, etc. and that they feel comfortable! I want to make sure the dog is engaged and feeling cared for.

About: I grew up in France with my dog, who was truly my best friend. Since moving to New York, I’ve been missing that special bond and would love to share my care and love with your dog. I can’t have my own pup right now, but I’ll treat yours like my own, with patience, attention, and lots of affection. I’m Angélique, a French girl living in New York. I recently started my luxury leather repair atelier and work from home, so I’m pretty flexible and happy to spend time with your dog. I live in an apartment in Astoria, where your dog will stay with me. I love going for walks around the neighborhood and will take them out a few times a day for fresh air and playtime.

About: Hi there! I've loved dogs my whole life. I was raised by a patient, vigilant matriarch Westie, and subsequently had the privilege of raising, training, snuggling with, and running after squirrels with two other Westie fellas since then. I was a special education teacher (among many other jobs) and I think that comes through in my craving to connect with and understand those around me. I've also taken care of my friends' three cats (who happen not to get along with one another) as well as helping other friends throughout my life by taking care of their cats, dogs, turtles, fish, and birds. I'd love to befriend yours! I am currently weighing options for work through delivery services, tutoring, a few lines of remote work, and background acting. I can determine in advance what my obligations become for any of these possibilities, and we can work out a schedule to accommodate your needs! I unfortunately am not allowed by my lease to bring pets into my apartment, but I am about a ten minute walk from Astoria Park and enjoy walking around in the neighborhood. Usually, I stay more on the residential rather than the commercial streets, which I think would serve most dogs better, just to cut down on hectic energy. Whenever possible, I like to give plenty of time for dogs to sniff around and explore their world, and if you tell me that you are comfortable with your pup meeting others, I'd happily keep a watchful eye on dog-to-dog interactions so that there's a chance to socialize. I also know that there are a couple of dog parks around which might be fun for your dog to visit if you think that they're comfortable with what can be a slightly rambunctious space.

About: I have lived with and taken care of cats and dogs since I was 9. I helped train my first dog back in 2005 and grew a love for pet caretaking ever since. I helped my dog learn how to follow commands like sit and stay. I regularly walked my dog and fed her on schedule, as well as bring her to the field to run around and to the beach for a swim. I have helped care for my friends' dogs as well, including taking them on morning walks, feeding, vet visits, beach trips, and baths. I also took care of my cat when I was young and currently care for my brother's cat when he is away. I work in a hybrid role that is mostly remote, so I always have the flexibility to be available for your pet's care. I typically go into the Manhattan office on Wednesdays, but can be available on Wednesday nights. Every other day is flexible. I will follow all directions provided by the owner regarding walking, feeding and whatever other services are needed. I will certainly clean up after your pet(s) on walks and make sure they have plenty of water, as well as keep them safe and to leave the house or apartment spotless.

About: I WON’T BE ON ROVER AFTER JULY 3rd When friends and family go away, I am always the first person they ask to take care of their pets. I have always had dogs growing up. In the past year I have really enjoyed being able to take care of my father-in-law’s dog on several occasions and my friend’s cats. In September 2023, I adopted my own dog. I have a lot of flexibility so I will be able to care for your pets morning-night and at weekends. I will also be able to take them out frequently. Your home: It is very important to me when visiting or staying in someone else’s home, to respect it and leave it the way I found it. My home: I have a young German Shepherd mix who loves to play but is also happy in his own company so won’t bother your dog when they need their space. I provide toys and treats. I enjoy walking them around the neighbourhood and playing. I take my own dog to a local park which has an enclosed area where I can let him off the lead and we play fetch. I can do this with your dog too if you would like.
