Eric was great with communication - he agreed to meet Benji prior to the boarding date so Benji could be familiar with him. He also provided my husband and I photos/videos of Benji daily. About: I care deeply for animals and feel pure joy and a sense of purpose when I exercise them. Their mental state and well-being is just as important as ours, but it's up to us humans to maintain it! I grew up with labs, a golden retriever and an Irish wolfhound. Several neighbors, friends and family members have relied on me for drop ins, walks and weekend stays for their dogs and cats since I was a young teen. I also volunteered and later worked at an educational nature center for kids in my hometown and have experience handling and feeding birds, rabbits and reptiles. I am available most weeknight evenings (5:30 pm and after) and flexible Fri-Sun. You can always send a request even if it shows I'm unavailable, I will always try to shift things around in my schedule for Rover if I can! I will respond quickly too. I am unable to house animals in my current space, but when I introduce myself to a new animal in his/her home, I will let them approach me and get down at their level. I have learned that body language and tone very much matters.

About: ***Update April ‘26 - I’ve just reopened my Rover account after 4 years of not being active*** I've had dogs since I was 11 years old. I have trained puppies, rescue dogs and even been involved in helping train dogs saved from dog fighting. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and host their pets, and your dogs will be loved the same way you love them. I currently do not have any pets of my own. I currently work fully remote so happy to have your pups here. I have very few restrictions around typical walk times and plenty of time to play. I live in a 2 bed apartment, so plenty of space, but with no access to a yard. I live close to many parks for walks and exercise and happy to crate your dog if that is what you prefer. I just ask you provide a crate. I also have no access to an elevator so the dog would need to be able to climb stairs or be carried down

About: Growing up with a beloved dog taught me early on how wonderful it is to share our lives with pets. “Anton was very kind and accommodating of my anxious dog. It was the very first boarding experience for my dog, Reiki, and he was very nervous when we arrived at Anton's place. I was worried that he would stay restless, but I was totally wrong! Anton sent me photos and updates, which made me feel safe asking more of his service again. Reiki was able to calm down within hours under his care, and very much enjoyed spending time with him 😄.”
“Michala watched our boy for 4 nights and honestly we could not have asked for a better sitter. We’ve been using Rover for 4 years now and she’s hands down one of the most communicative sitters we’ve had. She sent updates all day so we never had to wonder how he was doing. She took him to the park daily, let him sleep in bed with her, even asked before giving him watermelon, and gave him enrichment toys to keep him busy. You can just tell she actually cares about the dogs she watches, not just going through the motions. Can’t recommend her enough!”
