About: I’ve worked at the Brooklyn zoo and aquarium in Brooklyn as a teen. Then worked my way to volunteering at my local animal shelter. I’ve always had a love for animals. Now I foster dogs and cats till they find their forever homes. Even family and friends ask me to watch their pets on occasion. I’ve done dog walking and boarding for many years now as well and I would love to continue to provide for animals rain or shine. I currently work from home so the most I leave for are some social events here and there or groceries. I have transportation if pick up and drop off is needs as well. I have a gated yard around my apartment. There grass and all the other animals in the building run around and use the property. I provide at least three walks/potty breaks a day, take time to train and reward. I’ve giving medication and baths on request as well.

About: Patience and love !!!! Animals sometimes can sometimes need a little more attention when mom or dad are not around. I’m willing to make sure they are as comfortable as possible! I usually have photography gigs twice a week all over New York. I am up by 6am usually. And like to go to bed by midnight latest. I treat every pet with the same care and attention I would want for my own. Before each booking, I make sure to understand their routine, feeding schedule, medications, exercise needs, and any special instructions. I keep a clean, calm, and safe environment, closely supervise pets, and communicate with owners throughout the stay with updates and photos. I also make sure doors, gates, and other potential hazards are secure and will always follow the owner’s instructions.

About: 10+ years of dog handling experience from puppies and small dogs to larger dogs nothing can phase me. I am a calm and assertive person with lots of love and kisses to give to your furbabies! I have successfully potty trained several puppies as well as basic training. I have walked/cared for dogs from several companies with consistent 5 star reviews now that i have children i have slowed down. I am also cat and dog first aid/cpr certified by the redcross. I am very knowledgeable and hope to welcome you and your pup to the Ruff House . I am a stay at home mom so i am home all day everyday i find so much joy in caring for my family and dogs I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company! I also have a crate for just in case. Dogs are usually free roaming i do not crate any dogs at all unless it is requested.

They teach us about patience, love, loss, and growth. The great thing about all pets is they're all different in their own way and they all offer love. I have two cats at home, who are pretty low maintenance, they need plenty of love and play time. I dedicate every day more than an hour to each cat to make sure they feel loved and entertained. It obviously entertains me as well! Patience and looking for warning signs are very important. Taking time to communicate to the pet owners of any concerns is also a priority if that is the case. About: Hello! My name is Martin, and if there's one thing you need to know about me, it's this: I love dogs. In my life, I have had three wire-haired dachshunds. Two are still alive and one passed away a few years ago of old age. Even that was very heartbroken for me, it still didn't diminish my love and admiration for dogs of all sizes and breeds. I am very responsible, punctual, caring, energetic, consciousness and hyper aware of my surroundings. In addition, I have also read books written by Caesar Milan, so I am knowledgeable of ways to modulate a canines mood in case he or she becomes too excited when it comes to noise or another person. About: Hey there!! I love taking care of pets that belong to friends and family and I've been doing it so long I feel like I have 10 dogs! I've been taking care of dogs and cats for more than 8 years at this point and I really love doing it. So I thought why not get an app to do it more often! I'm very good at working with dogs that can be rowdy and excitable, they're the most fun to work with! I can bring your dog out to run around for some exercise or I can pet them the entire visit, both sound like a fun time to me. Hope to meet you soon and I can't wait to meet your furry friend! I work during typical school hours (8 to 2:30) so it is ideal that your dog or cat can be alone for at least 5/6 hours. I’ve worked in: Corporate dog grooming Doggy Daycares Open intake animal shelter Vet assistant - ( currently ) I’m open to building relationships with pets who might be behaviorally complex and can be a bit tricky to handle in collaboration with the pet parents. I’m comfortable in almost any pet you might need care for, any age is fine. I have some experience feeding neonate kittens. The only pets I can’t offer care to are any fully aquatic critters or amphibians ( lack of experience ) For puppies I can offer desensitization to grooming Based in Queens and open to bookings throughout areas of Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. I’m currently a part-time in training vet assistant, I’m off Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I miss working pet Daycares but my current schedule can change so something flexible like this is a better fit I care for the pets as I do in my professions, I listen to all and any instructions and rules set by the pet parent(s) and use my understanding of pet behavior to ensure a safe environment or walk for the pet. If the pet has any allergies then I’ll ensure to avoid bringing/consuming/interacting with said allergen a day ahead of seeing the pet in question. If the pet is reactive on walks then I prepare myself with treats and toys and keep a safe distances from possible triggers. For walks, by default I don’t allow pets in my care to interact with other animals outside unless the pet parent is ok with allowing it. For home visits or house sitting I don’t mind hand playing with pets, however some pet parents prefer no roughhousing or only engaging in play with pet toys. I’m perfectly fine with either choice in husbandry. Should a bite incident occur I will notify you and continue to care for your pet as safely as the situation allows. While a bite is never a fun experience a level 1 - 3 bite incident won’t disrupt the current care appointment you had originally booked.
