“We haven't needed to use Laura in a little bit, but she was just as responsive and reliable when we called upon her to walk our pup recently! Great communication as always. Thank you!!”

About: I’ve been a dog mom for more than 15 years of my life. I have a small senior dog who gets along with everyone. We love having other dogs hang out with us. I’m very active and enjoy taking dogs for all kind of fun walks. I currently work from home 3 days a week and spend lots of weekends at home taking care of my senior dog. I am the go to person with all my friends and family when it comes to pet care. My senior dog spends much of his time in a giant play pen sleeping in our apartment. We still make it out for 3 walks a day. My apartment is very pet friendly.
“I have never used Rover before and was extremely nervous leaving my dog in the hands of a walker. However, Jennifer eased my mind, talked me through everything and even did a meet and greet with me and my dog before hand. You can tell she’s extremely experienced and takes good care of all animals in her possession. She came over walked, fed, and took pictures throughout her time with my dog. I will gladly use Jennifer again!”

About: I just graduated from Boston University and am now back home in NYC! I would love to be able to look after my neighborly cats and dogs and make sure they are taken care of while their loved ones are away. :) I take the time to learn each pet’s quirks, and comfort spots before day one, and I send regular photo and video updates so you're never left wondering how things are going! I work remotely from home, so my schedule is genuinely flexible and pet care fits naturally into my day. I’m available anytime during the week, not just evenings or weekends, so I can adjust to your pet’s routine rather than the other way around. Whether it’s a midday walk, a feeding schedule, or checking in between meetings, I have the time and flexibility to cater to what your pet actually needs. Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, safety and consistency come first. In your home, I follow your routines exactly, feeding times, medications, walk schedules, so your pet’s day stays as normal as possible while you’re away. If care happens at my place, I keep a calm, distraction-free space and give your pet my full attention rather than juggling other animals. I don’t have pets of my own, which means no territorial issues, no competing for food or attention, and no risk of picking up something from another animal. I’m comfortable using crates, baby gates, or leashes if that’s part of your pet’s routine, and I always check in with you before making any changes.
About: The first dog that I fell in love with was Charlie, my best friend’s beagle. I cared for him for weeks at a time, and that’s when I realized how much I enjoy looking after dogs. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for several pets, both on and off the books, and each experience has made me love it even more. Although I’ve never owned a dog myself, I have a deep respect and appreciation for them. I understand the dedication, planning, and responsibility that goes into making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. As much as we wish we could bring our pets everywhere, sometimes the best choice is leaving them in a place where they feel at home. That’s the experience I aim to provide: reliable and thoughtful care that supports your pet’s comfort without requiring you to sacrifice your plans. I am currently unemployed and I live with my parents (who also love dogs), so there’s almost always someone home. I was working at Central Park for these last few months, but now that the season is over I can dedicate myself to working my dream job… along with finding a career that goes with my degree. I’ve cared for dogs both in my own home and in clients’ homes. Our quiet neighborhood has plenty of small parks and green spaces for quick walks or a good 30–35 minute wander. I also have a ground-floor apartment with a fenced backyard where dogs can roam, zoom, or take care of their business when a full walk isn’t ideal. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow whatever routine works best for their dog. I can stay overnight or visit in the mornings and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and light grooming. My priority is keeping each dog comfortable by sticking to the routine they know.
About: Hello! I have experience with special needs and injured animals via fostering. They require a level of patience that I enjoy practicing. I love seeing them slowly improve in whatever it is that ails them. I also of course love all animals! My most recent foster was a blind kitten. I made sure he knew where everything was and to speak to him constantly. It was such a joy helping him learn how to jump down from the couch. Eventually he started jumping up on places he wasn’t even supposed to be! Now he plays as if he isn’t blind and it’s so beautiful to know that he will have a fulfilling life. I spend my days at home and love having furry friends visit. I am available mostly on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I go for walks as long as your dog needs to get happy and tired. I make sure to start off with some introductions. Whether it be lots of pets and scratches or a more gentle trust building approach. For cats I like to play with them or let them do their thing. Once they get comfortable I give them lots of pets! For dogs we hang out for a little. Then I like to take them on a walk and see the sites!

“Ian is great! Friendly and very confident handling my excitable dachshund, he came ready with treats as well! Looking forward to working with him more in the future”

“I was walking my dogs and ran into Melanie on the street and they went WILD with excitement when they saw her. They adore Melanie, and I am so grateful for her professional and reliable pet care.”

About: Lifelong Experience & Special Needs Expertise I have been around dogs most of my life and have personally cared for two dogs over the past 20 years. Both of my long-term companions developed chronic health conditions, giving me extensive hands-on experience caring for senior dogs and pets with special needs. Medication Administration: I am fully comfortable and experienced in administering oral medications safely and calmly. Breeds & Sizes: While I have a lot of personal experience with smaller dogs, I am completely comfortable and confident handling larger breeds as well. Brachycephalic/Short-Nose Breeds: I understand the unique health requirements of short-nosed breeds, particularly regarding proper heat management, exercise limits, and respiration monitoring. Because I work full-time in education with a daily commute, my regular schedule is focused on providing top-tier care during off-hours: Evenings & Weekends: Available for regular walks, drop-ins, and dinner feedings. Holidays & School Breaks: Expanded, flexible availability throughout the day. Services & What to Expect 30-Minute Dog Walks: Every walk is tailored to your dog's pace and energy level. Before and after our stroll, I take extra time to play with their favorite toys, shower them with attention, and let them settle in comfortably. Drop-In Visits: Perfect for checking in, play sessions, potties, and companionship while you’re away. Attentive Care & Feeding: I am happy to handle scheduled feedings and fresh water refills during any visit upon request. Wellness Checks: During every visit, I conduct a quick overall wellness check to ensure your dog appears happy, healthy, and showing no signs of discomfort or physical issues.
“Ocho loves Thoselin! She’s been very conscientious and reliable, and I trust her in my home and with my baby. Ocho can be anxious and hard to get outside, but she’s been flexible and, judging by the photos she sends, he has a great time with her!”

“Marla was communicative and punctual. It’s hard to find someone to walk at night (totally understand) but Marla was up for the task and Snickers loved his walk with her! Would highly recommend.”

“Qilin was great! She was very accommodating of my senior dog and spent plenty of time with him, and was great about sending updates about how he did. I was very happy with Qilin and would absolutely book her to walk Winston again!”

About: Why Rover? My fur baby crossed the rainbow bridge at 17 years old, over a year ago. I miss my dog, but im happy that this platform gives me the opportunity to be around dogs again. About me: I work in fashion and love dogs. I wish could be surrounded by them everyday. I adore dogs of all ages, but senior dogs hold a special place in my heart. I’m experienced in caring for seniors, including administering daily medications. I understand it’s stressful leaving your fur baby with strangers, but I’m extremely communicative and responsible. I’d treat your baby like my own. Im open to connecting prior to confirming the booking, if it helps calm any nerves. I am home most days of the week. I'm in the office 2 days per week. Fortunately my office has a relaxed pet policy, and I'm able to bring in dogs to work. I live in an apartment and believe dogs should never be crated. They’re free to roam my home and are welcome to sleep on my bed at night.
“Ronnie was super communicative and updated me after every walk. My pup is very picky with walkers but he walked well with Ronnie. Would definitely rebook her for walks.”

“Isabel was wonderful and was really nice. Our little pug Stella is a bundle of energy, and Isabel handled her really well. Stella loved her! We felt safe having her take care of Stella for her midday walk. Would highly recommend!”

Heidi was wonderful with my dog, Rocco! This was his first time walking with her, and she made me feel very comfortable. She kept me updated, sent several photos during the walk. Rocco was excited to see her and seemed happy and relaxed with her. She is kind, professional, and clearly cares about the dogs she walks. I will definitely book Heidi again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!

Hillary is amazing! I accidentally gave the wrong address because I just moved and didn’t realize I hadn’t updated my profile, and she was so understanding and went to the second location anyway. I am so grateful! She was very communicative before and during, and I’m so thankful she was able to help me with my pup !

Dongju is absolutely amazing! She is caring, patient, loving, and, most importantly, trustworthy. She took wonderful care of my dogs and gave me complete peace of mind. I would recommend her to everyone I know without hesitation. If you're looking for someone reliable who truly loves animals, Dongju is the perfect choice!

Nicole was absolutely wonderful with Mylo! She was kind, patient, and took great care of him. She made sure to follow all of my instructions, kept me updated, and I could tell he was in great hands. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing someone so caring was looking after him. I truly appreciate the love and attention she gave him, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog walker. Thank you so much, Nicole!
