About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 2 decades. I’ve helped train dogs, provided prescribed medication, assisted in emergencies and give lots of puppy pats. I’ve worked with 15- year-old chihuahuas and 6 month old Labrador puppies without any issue or worry. Overall, I’ve been a pet owner and understand how important it is to feel comfortable putting your dog in a new situation. So I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. My main priority is that your pet is safe, comfortable and cared for until your return. I’m a freelancer and I usually can work remotely, so I have the freedom to schedule my week as I see fit. That means I can take dogs out multiple times in a day, without it disrupting my schedule. In my home, I live in an apartment which means I take dogs out every 2 hours. Depending on their size and energy I take longer or shorter walks. And at other people homes I’m happy to follow specific instructions but, as my own set of rules, I make sure to clean any messes I find on the property, if a vacuum is available I’m happy to vacuum hair/fur, especially if the pet owner is away for more than 5 days, I’m always available to communicate if any owner wants to check in with me and of course I’m happy to face time if you’d like to check in on your pet. I usually send and end of day message with a picture of your pup and a review of our day.

About: I grew up in somewhat of a menagerie in south Florida where we had lots of property and animals like 5 Akitas, a ring tailed lemur, a kinkajou, 2 house cats and 2 big cats (lynx & bobcat). I am no stranger to rolling up my sleeves at home or for my clients. I've cared for pets internationally in Morocco and domestically in NYC. As a natural caregiver and as a clinical social worker I have the highest standards when it comes to those in my charge. I currently work remotely on a part time basis as a recruiter and a caregiver for my grandmother. We have a full house with support coming from many directions and I am looking for a way to make a little extra cash while spending time with animals. My grandmother and husband would prefer not to have a permanent pet, so this is a great compromise. As a clinical social worker I take my work with humans and pets very seriously. It's a mission and I took an oath as an MSW graduate to do my best for all in my charge. My home is in a quiet residential neighborhood in Jackson Heights near a dog park. My home is secure, comes with a backyard and is very clean. Nothing would please me more than to have a furry guest from time to time.

About: I've had 4 fish, 4 cats and I used to work in a doggie daycare. I currently work as a professional dog walker in one of the many Manhattan based companies! I also use Wag and have dog sitting experience, as well as experience with reactive, aggressive and anxious dogs. I also can board multiple dogs from different households at a time! I have open availability any time as I work from home, and can do overnight stays at any time! I can give constant photos and updates as well. I make sure all doors are locked, all pets are given fresh water and feed daily, with washed pet bowls, crated if need be, that every strap on a leash collar or harness is secure before leaving the apartment, and I also have heavy duty leashes for pullers, reactive or large dogs and water bowls. I also make sure that anything dangerous like medications or human food are out of the reach of all animals.

About: Growing up in Peru, I started to take care of dogs of every kind since I was 8 years old. I would always feed stray dogs, and whenever they saw me, they would run to me, and we would create memories together. At the age of 15, my mom brought me a beloved companion who is now 17 years old. I also share my heart with an adorable cat. Both mean the world to me. I've always felt that animals have beautiful souls full of emotions and should be treated with respect, love and compassion. Hence, my ultimate goals in life is to open an animal sanctuary to care for these intelligent creatures for the rest of my life.
