About: I grew up in somewhat of a menagerie in south Florida where we had lots of property and animals like 5 Akitas, a ring tailed lemur, a kinkajou, 2 house cats and 2 big cats (lynx & bobcat). I am no stranger to rolling up my sleeves at home or for my clients. I've cared for pets internationally in Morocco and domestically in NYC. As a natural caregiver and as a clinical social worker I have the highest standards when it comes to those in my charge. I currently work remotely on a part time basis as a recruiter and a caregiver for my grandmother. We have a full house with support coming from many directions and I am looking for a way to make a little extra cash while spending time with animals. My grandmother and husband would prefer not to have a permanent pet, so this is a great compromise. As a clinical social worker I take my work with humans and pets very seriously. It's a mission and I took an oath as an MSW graduate to do my best for all in my charge. My home is in a quiet residential neighborhood in Jackson Heights near a dog park. My home is secure, comes with a backyard and is very clean. Nothing would please me more than to have a furry guest from time to time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 2 decades. I’ve helped train dogs, provided prescribed medication, assisted in emergencies and give lots of puppy pats. I’ve worked with 15- year-old chihuahuas and 6 month old Labrador puppies without any issue or worry. Overall, I’ve been a pet owner and understand how important it is to feel comfortable putting your dog in a new situation. So I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. My main priority is that your pet is safe, comfortable and cared for until your return. I’m a freelancer and I usually can work remotely, so I have the freedom to schedule my week as I see fit. That means I can take dogs out multiple times in a day, without it disrupting my schedule. In my home, I live in an apartment which means I take dogs out every 2 hours. Depending on their size and energy I take longer or shorter walks. And at other people homes I’m happy to follow specific instructions but, as my own set of rules, I make sure to clean any messes I find on the property, if a vacuum is available I’m happy to vacuum hair/fur, especially if the pet owner is away for more than 5 days, I’m always available to communicate if any owner wants to check in with me and of course I’m happy to face time if you’d like to check in on your pet. I usually send and end of day message with a picture of your pup and a review of our day.

I love to walk and spend time with pets. I am a pet owner of a border collie. I walk my dog every morning at 6 am for an hour to start my day. This will be my full time job. About: I've been into pet care since I fell in love with my family dog at 8 years old. Since then I've been heavily involved with animal care throughout my life. Starting off with my own animals and then taking care of neighbors animals led me on this path a career choice. Animals give unconditional love and spread happiness to everyone around them, I just want to be be part of the care that goes into helping keep these lovely creatures alive and well. About: I really pay attention to each pet’s routine and the little things they do like their body language, energy level, and what makes them feel comfortable or stressed. I try to keep everything as close to their normal schedule as possible so they feel safe and settled, even when their owner isn’t home. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly schedule because I’m available Monday through Saturday. I make time each day for walks, check-ins, and any care pets need. I stay flexible so I can follow each pet’s routine and keep them comfortable and cared for throughout the day. I always focus on making pets feel safe, calm, and comfortable whether I’m in my home or the client’s home. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible like feeding times, walks, play, and anything specific the owner asks for. When I’m in a client’s home I respect their space and keep everything clean and secure. I always double check doors and gates to make sure the pet stays safe. I also pay close attention to how the pet is acting so I can tell right away if they need something or seem uncomfortable. My goal is to keep things stress free so pets feel relaxed and owners feel confident their pet is being well cared for.

About: Several years ago, when a friend was going through a rough time in her life, I housed and took care of her dog for half a year, and that's when I realized I could do this! Since then, I've regularly taken care of other friends' pets on and off, and I would love to do the same for your pet too! This is my full-time job, which means you and your fur baby will get my full-time attention! Except for Thursdays which I reserve for community volunteer work, my schedule is very flexible, and I will do my best to accommodate you and your pet's needs. I live in a 1-bedroom apartment with no roommates! I also have 2 AC units to keep the space nice and cool during the hot summer months. Every few months, I also house my friend's pet, an American Eskimo dog who is very friendly and absolutely loves meeting other dogs! I live near several dog parks that are within 15 minutes' walk, so your fur babies will always have a chance to meet new friends and neighbors. I love taking care of dogs, whether at my home or at yours!

About: Always surrounded by dogs, my family, friends, and my own dogs. I would offer to walk my friends' and family's dogs, and my last two dogs (Mini and Luna), two Chihuahuas, taught me great lessons, even though they were little bundles of nerves. I currently work in the afternoons, but in the mornings I have some free time to walk your beloved friend. Fridays and Saturdays are my days off, and I'll be able to give your loyal friend a nice and rewarding walk. Everyone has their own ways of loving and training their loyal friend. I always try to follow the owners' recommendations; there's nothing better than listening to the person who knows their faithful companion best. Likewise, with my own knowledge, I try to take all the necessary steps to give your friend the best walks and care possible.
