I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and have always had a deep love for animals. I grew up with my family’s large dog from the time I was a baby, and caring for fur babies of all shapes and sizes has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up, I regularly dog-sat for our neighbors, and even in college, I frequently cared for my roommate’s dog. Today, I’m a proud dog mom to a very sweet, big Australian Shepherd, and after getting married, my husband’s beloved family dog also joined our family—a medium-sized poodle mix. Our two pups are truly part of the family, and they’re both incredibly friendly and gentle with other dogs. Since moving to New York, we’ve also had the opportunity to dog-sit for friends several times, and we’ve loved welcoming new furry friends into our home. I also work remotely as a frontend developer, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the day. This means I’m able to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care, give them attention and companionship, take them on walks, and be around for their routines rather than leaving them alone for long stretches of time. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether it’s keeping up with their feeding and walking schedule, making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention, or simply giving them lots of love and companionship, my goal is always to make them feel safe, happy, and right at home while you’re away. 🐾
