“My 15 year old diabetic cat recently entered DKA and underwent very intense and very costly treatment that required serious recovery and supervision. I took off a few weeks of work but due to the added costs I needed to return back to work in order to continue caring for her and treatments. I was of course naturally worried leaving her after having survived such a serious illness and Katie stepped in a really helped put all that anxiety and worry at ease for me. I truly feel like she made all my worries go away upon returning to works All her visits were well documented (she sent me lots of pictures and videos of play time sessions, medicines given, the food and water put out, and she always stayed for longer than booked for and I never came home to a mess. It was evident to me that she was treating my babies like they were her own. From phone calls to texts to in App updates Katie is truly a delight to work with and I can’t recommend her services enough to anyone looking for their pets to receive the same level of love and care that mine got from Katie. I work long hours in film and my old lady will need continued care so definitely plan to keep booking her as much as possible. For those who view their pets as children; Katie’s the one for you.”

About: Hi, my name is Erik! I have worked for local businesses (As well as Wag so I have a bit of app experience too) walking, training, boarding, and sitting dogs for a little over 7 years now. I love animals, being outside, and meeting new pups. Located in Bushwick, I'm a quick bike ride away from Williamsburg, Bed Stuy, Ridgewood, etc. I have no problem taking the train to further neighborhoods as well. I've lived in New York for a 11 years now so navigating around the city is no issue. I was raised in a animal loving house and couldn't be happier working with the them. I'm a jack of all trades and a big worker. I love the freedom of setting my own schedule and being outside getting my steps in. I get down to their level and let them inspect/smell me. I tend to pass the sniff test. I don't mind taking the time to wait until the pup is comfortable before going on our walk.

Mochi has diabetes and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours in addition to another medication twice a week and Eleni was happy to learn and able to give Mochi his meds which can be a bit daunting and sometimes difficult depending on his mood. but Eleni was attentive and really took the time to learn and care for him properly! my other cat Kumo is a scaredy baby and rarely shows his face around people but Eleni was patient and really put effort into getting him comfortable with her. Eleni updated me with great details about how they’re doing and food. the weather was changing every day from being very cold and then very hot and Eleni proactively adjusted the thermostat accordingly when needed! she would turn on cat TV every couple days AND put treats in their treat games daily so they would stay occupied during the day. Mochi had an accident and Eleni didn't hesitate to clean it up and take out the trash. she really took care of everything!”

Ever since, allergies in the household have stopped me from having my own pets, but not from caring for others- including for multiple pets on long overnight trips away. I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule fits around yours! As a videographer, I sometimes have in-person shoots, but my editing time is very flexible. I’m experienced with a variety of safety features, including pet gates, crates, leashes, and more. I am also experienced with home alarms and camera systems. I have also cared for a cat that was allowed to roam freely in the neighborhood during the day with a GPS.
