About: Hey, I’m Kayla! I’m currently working part-time and am living with my boyfriend, Ethan, who works from home full-time. Between the two of us, we’re able to provide attentive and reliable care for your pets around the clock! Currently, we don’t have any pets of our own and are looking to fill the furry friend shaped hole in our hearts while letting you catch a break, a win-win! This means that your pets will be our number one priority during their time with us, and we can safely guarantee that their stay will be in a hassle free environment. As for experience, we’ve both grown up our entire lives around animals and have each owned both dogs and cats. Ethan has worked professionally as a kennel technician for 4 years and I also have plenty of previous experience pet sitting and dog walking for friends and neighbors. We’ve cared for pets during all walks of life, and understand the unique needs of different age groups. From rambunctious and high energy pups and kittens to the slow and steady pace of elders, or anywhere in between, we’re prepared to match your pet’s energy level! I’m currently working part-time on the weekdays and my boyfriend works full-time from home. Between the two of us, we’re capable of providing around the clock care for your pets. Due to the nature of our work, our routines are highly flexible, so if your pet already runs on a regular schedule, please let us know so that we can do our best to maintain their regular feeding, walking, medication, and/or wind down times. If your pet lives a more “go with the flow” lifestyle, that’s totally fine too! We can establish a morning and night feeding time and take them out every few hours/as needed. We don’t have any pets or children, so your pets will be our number one priority! I’m a strong believer of the impact of environment on wellbeing. Therefore, we pride ourselves on the cleanliness, calmness, and organization of our home. This means a mess-free and stress-free environment for your pet during their stay with us. If care is taking place in your home, we’re there by your rules! Please let us know anything we need to know ahead of time so that we can be as respectful of your space as possible. Lastly, we value your trust and know that good communication is essential for building that foundation. We’ll always do our best to respond to any inquiries you may have in a reasonably timely fashion and ask that you do the same when necessary. Of course, we also want to reassure you that your pet is having a good time (and because we know how much you’ll miss them), so we’ll send occasional pictures and updates during your pet’s time with us to keep you in the loop without expecting you to respond to everything.
