“Colin is a great sitter! He stayed in home and ensured the cats were played with, ate well, and had company! Will be working with him again and again in the future!”

“Adam is a fantastic sitter and walker - would highly recommend! Extremely communicative and responsive, and was very patient with my active dog. Adam took the time to understand my dog’s unique needs and did everything he could to make sure my dog was as happy and comfortable as possible.”

“Emily was great and helped me out last minute! She was great with my pup and followed instructions and sent me pictures of my pup when I was out! She played a lot with my high energy pup and was very sensitive to my pups needs. I can always trust my pup to be safe and happy in Emily’s care. Highly recommend her!”
“Lilly was available last minute, which was exactly what we needed! She’s super friendly and my dogs loved her! She took great care of them and I was able to go out with my husband without worrying. Will definitely book again!!”
“Amazing sitter!!! Schirn stayed with our elderly fur babies and took incredible care of them and our apartment while we were on vacation. We were in constant communication (but not too much!) before the stay, during, and after we got back home to make sure we settled back in okay. Upon meeting Schirn, you and your pets will immediately be at ease because she is a pro- comforting, reliable, trustworthy and truly goes above and beyond. The daily pictures and updates showed our pets were happy and when we got home we could tell they were very well taken care of. I highly, highly, highly recommend Schirn for picky pet parents!”

“I was out of the country for almost two weeks and Esther did a wonderful job taking care of my cat (who is a pandemic pet and therefore he gets nervous when I leave). She was an excellent communicator and sent pictures every day which was so reassuring. And she very kindly learned how to deal with my cat constantly trying to "share" her food, which was more than I could ask for. Esther really is the absolute best!!”

“Omg! If you could have a wishlist of a perfect Housesitter/Dogwalker it would be Becca! She bailed us out last minutes and now will be our go to person for ever!!!!”

About: Hello everyone, I’m Andrea, your pet's newest best friend, ready to take care of your fur baby. I currently work as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital, and I'm license-eligible to become a veterinary technician. This experience gives me the confidence to administer medications, recognize any signs of illness, stress, or anxiety, and provide your pet with the attentive, knowledgeable care they deserve. Before that, I worked at a dog daycare, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and energy levels. I know how to adapt to each dog's unique needs. At home, I have two sweet dogs: Gigi: (4-year-old spayed female toy poodle) who just loves being by my side and doesn’t really pay any mind to other dogs Quill: (2-year-old neutered male beagle) who is a social butterfly and loves playing (or just being lazy) with other dogs Being around pets is second nature to me, and I treat every pet as if it were my own. I know how much your fur babies mean to you so I will update you when they’re with me as much as possible! During walks I’m all about allowing dogs to sniff as much as their little noses desire to allow mental stimulation. While I do work Monday-Wednesday at the hospital, I'm fully available and very attentive on my days off. Pet care is part of my everyday routine, from working at a veterinary clinic to taking care of my two dogs at home. I am surrounded by animals 24/7 and I wouldn’t want it any other way. In my home my dogs have a set schedule that seems to work for them. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner and set walks to keep them happy and comfortable. Routine is important for me to ensure, in order to keep them stress free. For other pets I will always follow whatever schedule the owner recommends for me to follow. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in my home. I always provide lots of love and attention to keep pets happy while being away from their owners.
“Jiamin was amazing with my two orange boys while I was traveling for Thanksgiving! I could tell she was a cat expert right away, as they warmed up to her immediately, and she knew exactly how to manage their feeding and bathroom routines. She was super professional, and she provided timely updates and the cutest pictures! Thank you, Jiamin!”

About: Hi, I’m Christian! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog dad of 14+ years. I live in a dog-friendly, second-floor walk-up in Astoria, just steps away from a park where your pup can enjoy some fresh air and exercise. I work from home, so I can give your dog plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Whether your dog is a playful puppy or a senior who needs some extra TLC, I’m here to provide a safe, loving environment. Your pup will always get the love and care they deserve with me! My job allows me to set my own schedule as it relates to coming into the office, so I am very flexible on going in. Most of the time I am working remotely so I can give your dog the love and attention it needs. I am on the second floor of a walk-up building I which is dog friendly. I’m two blocks away from a park and would have no problems taking your pup out for as many walks as they need. I also have pads that I can put down as well. I’m happy to cater to whatever need your pup may have.
“Veena takes such good care of our mini dachshund Otto when we are away on extended trips out of our home! 100% recommend her as she is responsible, communicative and always goes above and beyond to provide care that is catered to your pets needs.”

“I can’t recommend Manny enough! My dog Stevie can be pretty nervous around new people and Manny was so patient and kind to her. He kept me updated with pics which made me feel much more at ease. Like others said, he is a great house guest and left my house even cleaner than I left it. Would book again!”

“Ryan was great taking care of my two dogs. Prompt an on time and communicative with daily updates. I will definitely use him again to take care of my babies!”

“Maria was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Milli! She was incredibly attentive, patient, and tuned into Milli’s needs from the start. You could tell she genuinely cares about the dogs she walks—she took the time to make Milli comfortable, gave her plenty of exercise, and sent thoughtful updates after each walk. Milli adored her and would get so excited every time Maria arrived! It’s such a relief to know our pup was in such capable and caring hands. Highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog walker!”

“Chris is the best! Hands down one of the BEST pet sitters for my babies. I am SUPER picky and don't usually book the same sitters unless I truly like them. Chris communicates very well and sees to my pets needs. Follows the itinerary very well, sends pictures, updates, and knows how to handle each one of them.”

“Nova absolutely loved Kathy! We did too, she was super communicative and left the house exactly as it was. She took Nova on lots of walks and made sure she was well taken care of!!”

“Lauren was fantastic! She was great at communicating, asked good questions, and most importantly I came home to happy pets and a clean house! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for pet care and/or house sitting!”

Woodside pet parents share their Rover experiences
Abbey was EXCELLENT! She sent lots of photo updates, was highly communicative, and all around a great and trustworthy sitter. When I got home, Bernie was in such a good mood. I could really tell he felt safe and cared for by Abbey — not just from the sweet pictures she sent of them, but from his entire demeanor. I’ve already re-booked Abbey for the holidays. Thank you, Abbey!!

Alice and Ethan took great care of my senior dog who needed extra care!! They sent updates with pictures so I didn’t have to worry about how my baby was doing. My dog seemed content and excited in every update they sent! They were very respectful of my apartment and took the time to clean up before leaving. I’ll definitely be reaching out again in the future! Thank you both!

This was Abby’s second time sitting for us and we knew right away we wanted to book her again because the first stay went so well. She watched our four pets during a longer sit while we were away on our honeymoon and she was truly wonderful. She took great care of the entire fur crew gave extra special TLC to our two pups who weren’t feeling their best. Her communication was the perfect balance of keeping us updated and reassured with confidence that all was being managed with ease. It made our trip so much easier knowing everything at home was in such good hands. We’re so grateful for her!

Britt was absolutely amazing housesitting with our pup. Our dog has separation anxiety and was showing it when we left and Britt was able to quickly settle her down and show her love and make her comfortable for the rest of her stay. We are super pleased with her services. Thanks so much, Britt! We’ll reach out again soon!

Roxane was just wonderful. She stayed in our home with Penny and Gus for five days and took such great care of them. She was very trustworthy and always responsive, which made it easy for us to relax while we were away. Her updates were thoughtful, and we came home to happy, well-loved pets and a house just as clean as we left it. We’d gladly have her stay again and highly recommend her!

Kennedy took care of our baby Luna dog for 2 weeks while we were away, and she was absolutely amazing! We never had a chance to miss Luna too much because we received two daily updates with photos before we slept and after we woke up. She managed daily medication, cleaning of a small wound and even took Luna to the vet for her monthly injection. She was very responsive, easy to communicate with and we loved working with her. She even brought in our packages and left our house clean. Thank you Kennedy!!!
