I currently work as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital, and I'm license-eligible to become a veterinary technician. At home, I have two sweet dogs: Gigi: (4-year-old spayed female toy poodle) who just loves being by my side and doesn’t really pay any mind to other dogs Quill: (2-year-old neutered male beagle) who is a social butterfly and loves playing (or just being lazy) with other dogs Being around pets is second nature to me, and I treat every pet as if it were my own. I know how much your fur babies mean to you so I will update you when they’re with me as much as possible! During walks I’m all about allowing dogs to sniff as much as their little noses desire to allow mental stimulation. While I do work Monday-Wednesday at the hospital, I'm fully available and very attentive on my days off. Pet care is part of my everyday routine, from working at a veterinary clinic to taking care of my two dogs at home. I am surrounded by animals 24/7 and I wouldn’t want it any other way. In my home my dogs have a set schedule that seems to work for them. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner and set walks to keep them happy and comfortable. Routine is important for me to ensure, in order to keep them stress free. For other pets I will always follow whatever schedule the owner recommends for me to follow. Most of the time I am working remotely so I can give your dog the love and attention it needs. I am on the second floor of a walk-up building I which is dog friendly. I’m two blocks away from a park and would have no problems taking your pup out for as many walks as they need. I also have pads that I can put down as well. This was Abby’s second time sitting for us and we knew right away we wanted to book her again because the first stay went so well. She watched our four pets during a longer sit while we were away on our honeymoon and she was truly wonderful. Roxane was just wonderful. She stayed in our home with Penny and Gus for five days and took such great care of them. She was very trustworthy and always responsive, which made it easy for us to relax while we were away. Kennedy took care of our baby Luna dog for 2 weeks while we were away, and she was absolutely amazing! We never had a chance to miss Luna too much because we received two daily updates with photos before we slept and after we woke up. She managed daily medication, cleaning of a small wound and even took Luna to the vet for her monthly injection. She was very responsive, easy to communicate with and we loved working with her.
