Pet care is a consistent part of my daily and weekly routine. I work at a veterinary office Monday through Saturday, which allows me to bring professional experience and a strong understanding of animal health into my care routine. I manage boarding, visits, and pet care around my work schedule to ensure each pet receives proper attention. Dog walking and drop-in visits are typically scheduled before and after office hours. Boarding pick-ups and drop-offs are flexible within reason on those days, and Sunday pick-up or drop-off is available upon inquiry. I plan my schedule carefully to ensure pets in my care receive reliable, attentive, and consistent care every day. I can also set up Vet visits within my office upon inquiry!

In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and structured boarding environment tailored to each pet’s needs. For dogs, I have 3–4 spacious enclosures measuring approximately 5ft x 5ft with tall height, allowing plenty of room to move comfortably, rest, and feel secure. Dogs are let out regularly for exercise, potty breaks, and supervised interaction, depending on their temperament and owner preferences. For cats, I have separate, smaller enclosures in a variety of sizes to ensure they feel calm and stress-free. Cats are kept in a quiet area away from dogs, with clean litter boxes, fresh water, and enrichment as needed. I follow each pet owner’s care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any special needs. Cleanliness, safety, and comfort are always a priority, and I monitor pets throughout the day to ensure they are happy and healthy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and environment. I follow all provided care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, litter box maintenance, medications, and any special needs. I like to learn about their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any medical conditions or medications. I can also set up Vet visits within my office upon inquiry! I also ask about behavior, temperament, likes and dislikes, fears or triggers, and how they interact with other pets and people. For dogs, this includes leash behavior, training cues, and energy level. For cats, I like to know their litter habits, preferred hiding spots, and how they enjoy affection. Knowing a pet’s personality, habits, and any special needs ahead of time helps me provide consistent care and reduce stress while their owners are away. I always encourage a meet-and-greet when possible and open communication so I can give each pet the best, most personalized care
A typical day
A normal day is calm, structured, and full of care, with plenty of attention given to each pet’s individual needs. Mornings start with cheerful greetings, fresh water, feeding, and potty breaks, along with a quick health and behavior check to make sure everyone is feeling their best. Dogs enjoy morning walks or supervised outdoor time, while cats receive gentle interaction and enrichment at their own comfort level. Throughout the day, pets receive regular potty breaks and playtime. Fun activities include leash walks, interactive play, enrichment toys, basic training reinforcement, and plenty of affection for pets who enjoy cuddles. For pets who prefer a quieter pace, I make sure they have a cozy space to relax and feel secure. I take time to truly get to know each pet’s personality — whether they’re playful, shy, energetic, or laid-back — and adjust activities accordingly. Cats are given calm play sessions, enrichment, and companionship in a quiet environment, always respecting their boundaries. Evenings are all about winding down with dinner, final walks or potty breaks, and quiet bonding time before bed. I keep a close eye on appetite, mood, and overall wellbeing and provide regular updates and photos so pet parents feel connected and reassured. My goal is always to create a safe, loving, and stress-free experience where pets feel comfortable, cared for, and at home — even while their owners are away.
