Jonisha graciously accepted my request and was very accommodating, even helping my dog through his anxiety as he doesn’t have a great appetite when in different surroundings. Jonisha reached out to me to let me know he hadn’t eaten and tried chicken to entice an appetite which worked! “This definitely my fourth time using Gracie. She is knowledgeable about what she is doing, when I first went to her i was very nervous about them getting along with her dog. To combat that anxiety she agreed to meet with me at a park to see how the dogs interact. That was very important to me because it made me feel more comfortable. She also gave me tips on caring for my dogs as I was new to the “dog mom” life! Every visit she sends me pictures and reaches out to let me know how the dogs are doing. My dogs absolutely love going to Gracie’s house and i see no difference when they come back home. I would definitely recommend Gracie to everyone!”

“Karlos was awesome with our 5 kitties and dropped by before we left for vacay so that we could show him the rundown of where everything was. He was flexible and accommodating of our feeding and litter box times and asked questions whenever he was unsure. He provided us with details and photos of my furbabies during each visit. One of my girls has IBS and he would send us pictures of her food dish to make sure she was getting her RX food. Another one of my girls tends to sometimes pee outside of the litter box and Karlos would inform us if she did and mop up the urine. And to top it all off, he was patient and caring towards my kitties (which means a great deal in a world where an animals life isn't considered as precious as a humans).”

About: I've taken care of many pets ever since I was a little girl. Always had pets in the house, dogs, cats, even guinea pigs and a mouse. I also used to volunteer as a kid at my camp to work with the animals in the stables like the goats, bunnies, and brushing the horses. As I got older my love for animals never wavered, so I went to high school and I majored in agricultural sciences and spent my first summer there on our land-lab taking care of not only an arrange of animals, but plants as well. I also volunteered at a pet store near my high school caring for stray animals that were brought in, and at one point a bunch of baby kittens, alongside my best friend. I have always loved dogs and cats most and would love to have them as pets again. My family and I started our pet sitting Journey when we used to live out in Florida, it's been almost 2 years now, since moving back to New York City . We have gotten the chance to sit many furry four legged friends, and now I have two of our own. We would still love the opportunity to continue to caring for other's pets as well. My kids and I used to feed and give love to some of the strays we'd see in our neighborhood, back in Florida( unofficial cat lady lol 😅 ). We cannot wait to care for your furry, four legged family member. Home is well air conditioned, space to accommodate a crate if you have, and will be able to give walks around area, or nearby park. You can rest assured your pet will get lots of love and attention, as my children LOVE animals as much as I do, and jump to the opportunity to assist me with them I'm currently working part-time, so I am usually able to give walks in the morning, and in the evening after 6:00 p.m. However, on my days off, I can give walks at least three times a day. I would be able to work out a schedule that might be accommodating for the both of us. I would prefer to have them dropped off during the evening's, after 7pm. We adopted a Maltese/ Silky terrier mix dog(female), and a Chihuahua/ Terry mix dog (male). I use our bedrooms (mine and the kids) to place them in, to accommodate while the other dog is out. Or, we can use the backyard or crate.

I have a fenced backyard with a doggy pool and life vest for swimming lessons in the summer. And the dogs have a dog house shed when they want to play outside in some shade. Of course they will be supervised while outside. Never left alone. And will have access to come inside our home 24/7 we never leave any pets outside unsupervised.

We follow your specific feeding and medications to a T (we know how important this is) and we love to provide plenty of belly rubs and cuddles on the couch. About: I’ve been a pet sitter for fish, cats, dogs, and reptiles. I used to volunteer at the animal shelter back home. I’ve fostered puppies and kittens for almost 10 years; since I was in high school. It fits in my daily life cause I myself have two beautiful puppers named Scooby and Lola who I feed a mostly raw diet.
