About: I would love to house any pet (Cat/Dog) while you are away. I've had a cat growing up and know what's it like to love a little one and have to trust others to care for it. I would provide the best care needed for any furry friend, as well as the attention they require. I have been walking dogs for over a year now, but have cared for pets of family and friends. I love the strongest from Pitbulls to the smallest ones. I can exercise with your active dog or lounge around, we will have fun regardless! I like to go for runs and would love to bring a four-legged friend. I can provide care for the most energetic dogs or cats, or my total attention to a puppy that is still in training. About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I used to be that kid on the block who would help the cats, the kittens or any lost dog off the streets to find their owners or placed in a new home. It used to drive my mom crazy but she let me help them, it has made me forever grateful for the fur babies I have free time to walk the fur babies at your need, currently unemployed, I recently moved back to NYC with my fur baby and my turtle with my partner. I am more than happy to assist and keep them company as I would want someone to do for my fur babies. My baby has so many loved ones who are helping me care for him so I would love to extend the help for those in need. It is my first time on Rover but if you introduce me to your babies you will see my love for animals is creating not only a safe space but ensuring they are happy, taken care of while their parents are working. Working and having pets is very demanding and I know it isn’t easy. I used to cry leaving my baby home alone for hours at a time due to work. I currently live in an apartment but my dog is trained to not run out of the door, we are very careful with entering and exiting. I would be devastated if my dog ever got lost. Taking care of another person fur baby would be like taking care of my own. I also make sure the floors do not have anything that can be ingested. It’s scary for a pet to ingested something foreign where it makes them sick. Any extra precautions that need to be taken I would make sure to follow through.

Shweta was amazing!! She house sat for my dog for the weekend, and I came home to a spotless apartment and, most importantly, a very happy dog. She took him on plenty of walks, sent me lots of pictures and updates, and was super communicative the entire time I was away. She also helped take care of my turtles and made sure they were fed, which I really appreciated. It was clear she took great care of everyone and the apartment while I was gone. I get super nervous & am very very particular with who I let into my home to care for Zeus because of a couple of previous bad experiences. From the start, I could tell Samantha was going to be amazing. And she was INCREDIBLE. She was communicative, followed alllll of my neurotic instructions, left my space in pristine condition, and really went above & beyond. I actually think my dog might have a crush on her so I cannot recommend Samantha enough. Part of me wants to gatekeeper bc she was that good, but everybody deserves to have peace of mind when they have somebody caring for their fur baby and Samantha provided that and more. Isabel did a very nice job with my dog Onyx. She was with him for two days and one night. She followed every instruction I gave, and kept in touch with me the whole time. She also kept the house very tidy as well. The cherry on top was the fact that she left her own little note to me and I really appreciated that. Would definitely book her again.

I cannot express enough how happy I am we found Phaedra! Shelby and Lucky instantly warmed up to her and we knew right away they’d be in great hands while we were away. She kept me updated the whole time and spent a lot of time working with Shelby, who is afraid of everything and is very reactive on walks, and it was amazing to see the difference in her from when we left to when we got back.
