About: I grew up in a house that was always full of animals and kids, so chaotic and energetic animals do not phase me, and I can adapt well to whatever care plan is needed for your loved one. As an example of this, the last two dogs I cared for were very different personalities. I took care of an elderly 14-year-old Jack Russell, who was a bit blind so would nip on occasion, and needed spoon feeding and consistent potty breaks starting at 6am. Conversely, most recently I did a house-sitting stint for an owner of a rescued 5 yo Pitbull mix that needed almost constant attention and good tiring play. I have also housesat for many cat owners in the past few years of ranging personalities and needs; some needing some attention and play, others just needing food and water topped up, while another needed me to help her clean herself as she couldn't go to the toilet. I know that there are people with strict routines, and I understand that getting an external sitter or a walker can really mess with the structure you are trying to create. I want to help build that, not tear it down. I pride myself in being able to use positive reinforcement as an effective disciplinary method. I do not bribe or abuse the animals entrusted to my care. I work remotely, so I can be very flexible to the needs of you and your animals. In the case of early mornings of 6am and earlier, I would prefer to have the animals stay here or I stay at the clients' residence. I live on the second floor in an apartment building where everyone owns a dog. Having animals stay with me is no problem at all, but there is no yard, so for dogs it would be exclusively dog walking/dog park if they were to stay here. I can be totally flexible in sitting at a clients' home.

About: I have grown up with animals my entire life. I have such a big heart for our four legged friends and I take great care of them. I recently moved to Cleveland and adopted Winston. He is the best thing to ever happen to me. We love walks, going to the park, and just hanging out having each other as companions. I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old and now he has turned into a well mannered young man! He would love to play your your fur baby!! My work schedule varies week by week but i am almost always home by 5pm and I keep my days pretty open on my days off. Winston and I go on about 5 walks a day as long as the Ohio weather permits!! I live in an apartment so I don’t personally have much square footage indoors but no matter the space, I would always try to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible. Fortunately, we have a nice dog park and some very pretty neighbors to walk around!

About: Does your dog like nature walks or is it more of a structured walk play type of animal? I can provide both. We can take long walks outdoors or we can find an area that is more city like and spend some time walking around. I have over 20 years experience caring for dogs. I have kids and treat my pets like my children they will be very loved. I have an open schedule I can work from 6am to at least 9 pm. I do not have a preference on the type of dog as I have owned from toy to giant and can handle them without any problems.
