I've trained a puppy, rescued a young dog, given dogs and cats medicine, taken care of an ailing senior animal, gone on long walks and given plenty of belly rubs. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. At that time, we got a standard poodle puppy (Inspector Gadget) who I fed, walked, played with, and let out before/after school everyday. When he was about 3, we also got a springer spaniel (Sookie) from the shelter who was an absolute angel, and mine and Gadget’s best friend. I always made sure they had what they needed and felt loved! I took care of Gadget until he sadly passed at the age of 14, and Sookie until she passed at the age of 10, so I have experience with elderly dogs as well. My mom recently got a golden retriever puppy who I would visit to walk, feed, and play with occasionally while she is at work. I also have experience with birds and cats. I am currently working as a resident at one of the local hospitals, so my schedule is variable, but by booking me you know that you will get a trusted professional to care for your pets. I am free every other weekend to care for pets, and am generally free in the evenings of weekdays. I have no problem showing any pet love, regardless of size or breed, and will make sure they get the attention and love they need! I am used to big and mid-sized dogs since that’s what I grew up with, so walking large dogs will not be a problem. I am familiar with standard training practices for dogs as well and will adhere to any specific instructions.

About: I have 5+ years of experience walking and taking care of dogs, and I’ve loved every second of it. Exercising with a furry friend is always on my agenda! I am currently a full-time student at DePaul University in Lincoln park! I only have a class or two daily, leaving me open weekdays from 8-11 and 5-10! What I would also like to mention is when she came over for the initial visit my dog was here. She was severely abused by her previous owner and does not do well with strangers. The minute Kimberly walked in my house my dog acted like Kimberly was her long lost friend. Ive never seen her react like that to a stranger. Animals are good judges of character. I would recommend Kimberly, and I plan on using her services in the future.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
